Badname command

Anonymously flags another player character's name for policy violation review by staff. This command is meant to help with a little more transparency in that area. You can use it to report a name you feel should be reviewed along with the reason WHY. When a name has been reported by others, you'll be told that it's already been reported to staff for review. If you try to report a name you've already reported, it just clears your old reason and replaces it with the new reason.

If staff decides to toss a name because it crossed the line, it will continue to quietly disappear. If staff ends up OK'ing a name, GMs have the ability to provide a response so that if others try reporting it in the future, they're simply told staff has already reviewed it along with the reason provided. Sometimes this may be as simple as "It doesn't violate the rules", but you'll at least see that they HAVE reviewed the name and made a decision.

Usage

  • BADNAME <PLAYER> <REASON>: File a request that a player's name be reviewed
