Alteration/Reversible item

Reversible items can be altered.

In general, the simple items that have the same or similar SHORT TAPs for both can be altered by all current means, including via LTB scrolls. For these simple items, a single alteration will allow for the modification of both LONG TAP and LOOKs on the item. An example of a simple reversible item is the glitter-covered dragonfly doll with delicate gossamer wings.

The more complex the item, such as the items with different TAP's or that have interactive verbs, can also be altered but the means which you can use will be alterable on a case-by-case basis. On these, they may or may not be compatible with the LTB scroll system, and they may require a separate alteration for each version or may have both versions altered within a single session based off a live merchant's/GM's discretion. An example of a complex reversible item is the supple thornweave hex bag entangled by coarse hemlock stems.
