dark steel war mattock with a grasping claw capping the blackened iron handle
Look: The heavy head of the hammer is crafted from a single block of solid metal, making it rather top-heavy. Though the ends are smooth, each side is carved with the visage of a snarling beast, its mouth open wide to reveal a set of razor-sharp fangs. Set at the end of the leather-wrapped handle, the claw appears to be reaching as if trying to free itself. An empty gem setting mars the mattock's appearance slightly.

Special

The mattock appears to be capable of holding a single gem.
You think that to put a gem into the socket, you need to PUT the gem in the mattock.
You also think that in order to get a gem back out, you can GET the gem FROM the mattock again while holding it.
