Brought over command oriented information that was on the [Stealing skill] page to the command page. Not sure what the desired breakdown of information would be for these two pages. I happened to navigate to this page earlier and noticed it had nothing so I plan to flesh it out, and also work on other thief and stealth command pages, where they are lacking. -- [[User:Tascher|Tascher]] 21:00, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

This particular update:
<br>At the moment of your first theft two timers begin, one tracking how long you are prevented from manually changing your PvP stance, and the other counting down to your PvP stance being reverted to its former setting. Each timer begins at 4 hours, and every time you steal from another PC the timers are reset to 4 hours from that moment. However, the first timer (locked from changing PvP stance) tracks real-time whether you are logged in or not, whereas the second timer (time to your auto-revert) only tracks time logged into the game. This can result in undesirable consequences, so it's advisable to remain logged in for all four hours to prevent the timers from getting out of sync. When the second timer expires, you will be set back to your previous PvP stance and receive the notification below. It is however possible to bypass this auto-revert by logging out for a period of time (and forcing the timers to fall out of sync) so that you can manually change your PvP stance after the first timer expires, but before the second expires.

There are two timers, one that doesn't track offline, one that does. Everything stated in the above edit is both accurate and in-line with GM statements.

-- Tascher 21:00, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

This particular update:
At the moment of your first theft two timers begin, one tracking how long you are prevented from manually changing your PvP stance, and the other counting down to your PvP stance being reverted to its former setting.

"Autorevert timer still has 00:19:55 left, since this timer doesn't track while offline. 00:04:55 Remain on the lock, since it does track offline time."

There are two timers, one that doesn't track offline, one that does. Everything stated in the above edit is both accurate and in-line with GM statements.
