General/Sectless Cantrips and Cantrip Book: Meah K'et ..... Chapter 1. (Study obelisk on Taisgath to learn normally) Veiled Identity ..... Chapter 2. (Travel to M'riss and look for wondering oasis in the desert.) Scorch ..... Chapter 3. (Quested for in Manor south of Leth, entry puzzle is Fire/Claw Up, Exchange/Claw down Poison/Claw Up.) Kinetic Fling ..... Chapter 4. (Sectless Only, learn normally from researcher in Throne City's edifice.) The rest of the page is filled with a diagram of a curiously twisted snake.

1.Atop these pages are the words, "Meah K'et -- flare." A simple show of light and lunar energy.

2.Atop these pages are the words, "Veiled Identity -- face." This will mask your face in a veil of illusion, and looks great at parties.

3.Atop these pages are the words, "Scorch -- label." The descriptions and diagrams indicate that this is a cantrip, capable of labeling enchanting scrolls by using a mana-less variation of the Burn spell pattern. It notes that one must have knowledge of the Burn spell as well as significant comprehension of sigils. To use this cantrip, one would chant it and then gesture at the appropriate scroll. It is necessary, of course, to read the scroll first so the mage is aware of which sigil is upon it. -Note: There is a small timing for reading scrolls and using this cantrip, don't use in conjunction with reading a lot of scrolls at once.)

4.The Kinetic Fling cantrip appears to be a simple adjustment to the theory in the Telekinetic Throw spell. While clearly not as powerful, it can be used to toss items a farther distance away and may come in handy for clearing things out of your way.

-Message for sect members when reading about Kinetic Fling in the Cantrip Book: The words are mere child's play to understand, but the philosophies behind the diagrams are insulting to your choice of Sect. Learning this cantrip would go against everything you stand for.

Nomads Cantrip and Cantrip Book: Oshu Sarhhtha ..... Chapter 1. Reduces RT of people being raised in room where currently being chanted.(Not positive) Alm Shalka Albir ..... Chapter 2. Creates boggle that goes to person and shows them image of your locale. Narmor Feas ..... Chapter 3. Item in right hand is used for TKT. (Quested for in Manor south of Leth, entry puzzle is Fire/Claw Up, Exchange/Claw down Poison/Claw Up.)

-Message for non-Nomads when reading from Cantrip Book: Images of blue-hued animals cover every inch of the open pages, some indicating a type of minor magic and others noting seasons. All in all, it's a bit too tribal to grasp fully.

Progeny Cantrips and Cantrip Book: Sibowen ..... Chapter 1. Hides teleport in under Katamba. Other illusions. Shaderald ..... Chapter 2. Creates shadow duck to announce arrival. Sibo Nijare ..... Chapter 3. Changes look on Katamba moonblade, small stat modification. (Quested for in Throne City Progeny Building, Pull candlebra in one room then look behind display in first room, go panel, climb stairs, read book. Need Moonblade Spell.)

-Sibo Nijare Appearance

        • chants a few words in a low voice.

An inky serpent of smoky blackness rises from from behind him. With a hiss, it wraps itself around his red-hot moonblade and melts into it. His weapon now appears to be a deep ebony briar-covered moonblade. (Moonblade types incomplete)

-What non-Progeny see when reading Cantrip Book: The diagram and text are written in shades of crimson and ebony. What is odd is that the colors are not mutually exclusive to portions of the cantrip description, and so you'd have to be in the know to understand when to follow the red text and when to follow the black text.

G'nar Pethian Cantrips and Cantrip Book Melyo'a Ihean ..... Chapter 1. See constellations in day. Sumilo Aev ..... Chapter 2. See if someone is hidden/invisible in the room. Maren Alshabi ..... Chapter 3. Identify other prophets. (Quested for in Manor south of Leth, entry puzzle is Fire/Claw Up, Exchange/Claw down Poison/Claw Up.)

-Message non-Pethians see when reading Cantrip Book: These pages are filled with what appears to be meaningless scrawl, as if a drunken child had decided to tell a story in a language he could not understand.

Gypsy Cantrips and Cantrip Book: Fate's Kiss ..... Chapter 1. Nothing. Well, tells what moon is out. Fortune ..... Chapter 2. Auto bonus to 1 of 12 skills. ? ranks. Five minutes. Lyodin Albir ..... Chapter 3. Change what people see when they locate and if they backtrace your Locate. (Quested for in Manor south of Leth, entry puzzle is Fire/Claw Up, Exchange/Claw down Poison/Claw Up.)

3.A slew of diagrams and interesting pictures depicting stylized magical patterns adorns the pages, indicating this is a Fortune's Path cantrip. Something created long years ago by a roguish mage, Lyodin Albir will temporarily interfere with the Locate spell, causing the caster to see the wrong location.A reference to the Locate spell implies that knowledge is necessary to learn this cantrip.

-Fortune Appearance: You chant a small phrase, the power of your cantrip flowing from your lips!A glowing series of raesh-style Tokka cards appear and arrange themselves in an esoteric pattern. You distinctly notice the (card type) card before the illusion fades, and feel luckier for it. -Fortune Readings & Skill: Joyous Mage - Primary Magic Moneylender - Appraisal Jester of the Court - Music Theory Wounded Veteran - First Aid Artificer - Mechanical Lore Endless Ocean - Swimming Stellar Stairway - Climbing River of Aether - Target The Nimble Dancer - Evasion Sulking Hunter - Skinning Thief of Hearts - Disarm Runebinder - Astrology

-Lyodin Albir Appearances: They sense: You sense that someone trying to locate you was misdirected. Mislocations: [Shard, Xibar's Crescent Road] [Ratha, Cliffside Viewpoint] [Mer'Kresh, Pearl Circle] [Aesry Surlaenis'a, Staho Lanahh'Mus] [Muspar'i, Sanyrsen's Square] [Taisgath, Crescent Cove] (Incomplete)

-What non-Gypsies see when reading cantrip book. A slew of diagrams and interesting pictures depicting feasts and revelry adorn the pages, but they don't mean much to you.

Monks of the Crystal Hand Cantrips and Cantrip Book: Tiv's Mantle ..... Chapter 1. Autostand Way of the Disciplined Step ..... Chapter 2. One balance level raised

1.Atop these pages are the words, "Tiv's Mantle -- mantle." This will cover you in a shimmering cloth of lunar energy, allowing one to perform some meditational exercises.

2.Atop these pages are the words, "Way of the Disciplined Step -- balance." By careful study, one can turn an unsavory footing into a dance of disciplined balance.

-What non-Monks see when reading Cantrip book: The extremely clean and precise diagrams appear to be easy to understand, but reference each other in very convuluted yet artistic ways. You soon lose your place.

Celestial Compact Cantrips and Cantrip Book: Gift of the Stars ..... Chapter 1. 25 point mana boost at night Avtai Alshavi ..... Chapter 2. See all constellations

What non-Celestians see when reading Cantrip book: The diagrams make sense, but the text is almost nothing but political jargon and innuendo, making it impossible to tell what's going on.

Heritage House Cantrips and Cantrip Book: Naronas Kerwaith ..... Chapter 1. Get into other sect halls Fate Alignment ..... Chapter 2. Erase negative prediction

1.Atop these pages are the words, "Naronas Kerwaith -- entry." Since reunification is our purpose, this cantrip is designed to allow us limited entry into any other Sect's chapterhouse. It must be chanted in the presence of the Sect representative.

2.Atop these pages are the words, "Fate Alignment -- align." By carefully realigning yourself with whatever Fate life has in store for us, we can avoid some of the unpleasantness of what the future holds, ending the insight a prediction gives you prematurely.

What non-Keepers see when reading cantrip book: Crisp, fine penmanship covers these pages, but the text makes vague references to libraries and specific books, none of which you are familiar with.

Cantrip Book Basics: On the ebony table you see a cloth-covered book, an engraved book, a velvet book, a hide-bound book, a silk-bound book, a stained book, an aged book, a leather-bound book and a small notecard.

-Closed Look: The book looks heavy and quite old, but otherwise doesn't appear unusual. Right now, it's closed, cover facing up. -Open Look: The book looks heavy and quite old, but otherwise doesn't appear unusual. Writing and diagrams cover the open pages. -What non MMs see when reading Cantrip Book: The pages are filled with numerous drawings of the skies, and make a lot of references to Lunar magic that you can't quite comprehend. -What MMs Lacking Cantrip Knowledge see: The pages make a lot of references to cantrips that you can't quite grasp since you don't understand the basic concept.

Saved from an old tripod site so it doesn't disappear when the page poofs from old age until it can be converted into wiki style cantrip walkthroughs. Trying to figure out the best way to list/link all the cantrips learned from the cantrip book. MOTHRA (talk) 18:41, 20 June 2017 (CDT)
