  • Boxes require 40 ranks of Lockpicking & Disarm

-- Paladin with 24 agility and 48/42 in Disarm/lockpick can successfully open about 20% of boxes.
-- Necro with 21 agility and 42/37 was able to barely open boxes with generous use of the careful option. At 56/53 boxes appraise slightly difficult but open easily with an unmodified disarm
-- Barb with 16 agil and 39/37 was also able to barely open all of the boxes. Quickly taught disarm/lockp too, went to 48/45 in a matter of about 5 full backpacks over a couple of days.
-- Thief with 19 agility and Khri Focus, 40/40 disarm/lockpick (and 68 perception) is still not a surefire thing. Very few failures on the disarm attempts, though, but it takes a few tries.
-- Moon Mage with 20 agility, 100 perception, 69/70 lock/disarm has a 100% chance of disarming and picking
-- Barbarian with 19 agility, 101 perception, 58/55 lock/disarm can open 100% of the boxes
-- Ranger with 18 Agility, 57/49 Disarm/Lockpicking, 126 Perception & a negative Ranger bonus: no trouble popping them.
