Yup, that is one advantage for maximizing DPS while performing combos.<br>

There will be a Situational and Channeled Maneuver that should improve DPS when {{PRel|Offhand Weapon skill|dual wielding}}.<br>

I've been considering having the offhand weapon occasionally "proc" when making right handed attacks.  It'd start at like 20% of the time with no shield, and decrease based on the size of the armworn shield being used.  Guild abilities could increase this %.<br>
