The new Sorcery backlash system is going live as soon as I finish this post. This update includes four important changes:

1) There is now a lot more variety of possible backlashes. Some are worst than losing your arms. Some aren't. Consider yourself warned. How badly you fail is a major factor in how bad the backlash is.

2) At this time necromantic backlash is no longer a separate mechanic but I reserve the right to split it back out in the future as it was only removed because many of the systems it would depend on aren't where we want them right now (Poison, acid, disease and so forth).

3) If you cause visible sorcerous backlash in a justice area expect your local law enforcement to take note of this. Again, you've been warned.

4) The system is very new and using math that has never before been needed by the system. What this means is it will almost certainly see adjustment, possibly a lot of adjustment, until we get it dialed in right. This may be to specific spells, it may be to the system as a whole.

Please let me know if you have any questions, I'll just be in the other room making popcorn...
