When you APPRAISE CAREFUL the weapon, how high of a quality does the metal used in its creation appear? If you use low-quality metal to make something, you'll get low-quality metal when you reclaim it. The system doesn't forget the quality of the original ingredients used to make something.

Being able to mastercraft weapons from 77 quality ingots reflects your ability to work around the metal's impurities, not your ability to somehow refine it on the fly. So for example..

99 quality kertig -> 99 quality sword -> 99 quality ingot upon reclaiming (assuming no mistakes were made)

77 quality kertig -> 99 quality sword -> 77 quality ingot upon reclaiming (assuming no mistakes were made)

77 quality kertig -> 22 quality sword -> 77 quality ingot upon reclaiming (assuming no mistakes were made)

APPRAISE CAREFUL should always show the material quality, and is a good indicator of what you would be getting should the item be reclaimed.

I spent some time testing it just now to try and verify everything is working as intended, but please let me know if something appears to be off.
