When we redid the PP system, one of the things we looked at was mana boosters and their place in the game.

Fissure already shot way past the caps of what we considered acceptable and required a cap to mana boosting in general be placed on the new PP system. (Its bonus ended up going over twice as high as the acceptable amount)

Unfortunately, this means it's unlikely to get any more potent than it already is, although I can say that it's maximum potency is slightly better in worse mana conditions.
