Greetings!

Please be aware that effective IMMEDIATELY the {{PRel|DragonRealms Policy|policy}} on LTES (Long Term Experience Scripting) has changed as follows:

- First offense *on the account*: Character receives a formal warning, is moved to a consultation room, loses =all= field experience (unabsorbed experience) in =all= skills, and must reread and agree to policy before being released.

- Second offense *on the account*: All characters on the account, plus potentially all other related accounts, can be locked out of the game for 30 days. In addition, substantial penalties of experience points may be subtracted from any or all characters on the account(s).

- Third offense *on the account*: The offending account, plus all of the other related accounts, can be locked out of the game for 60 days. In addition, the offender will FORFEIT ALL CHARACTERS on the offending account.

The modification is on the third offense punishment -- rather than full account (and related accounts) termination, we have reduced that to a 60-day lockout accompanied with character forfeiture. Character forfeiture means loss of all characters, and all of their inventory including vaults, bank accounts, experience, skills, stats, etc. Everything will be gone. There will be no exceptions made, even for your custom wedding gown or that altered broadsword o'doom you inherited from your great aunt Tilly.

As noted above, this is effective immediately. Because this is actually a reduction in penalty, there is no grace period. No other changes have been made as to the posted policy, which you can review at any time in game by typing {{com|POLICY}} {{tt|16}} or {{com|NEWS}} {{tt|5 17}}. (Please note that {{tt|NEWS 5 17}} contains the current information, whereas {{tt|POLICY 16}} will not be updated quite yet. {{tt|NEWS 5 17}} temporarily modifies/ammends {{tt|POLICY 16}} until both are updated.)
