|p=You will be able to douse the curing skin with more lotion to speed up the process (>33% time reduction per pour). If you have sufficient skill you can negate the quality hit pretty much all the time.

The cap is something like 3 hours if you are using really bad lotion and have no skill.

You really shouldn't find this much slower than the purely random nature of mining and the time spent smelting/refining/mixing. I'll soon be removing/reducing the society stock for metal... so we'll see how things end up. Fabrics don't have a growing system in place yet, but be assured that once they do it will take some time for stuff to grow.
