Information

Kurtz is a Human NPC who can purchase and appraise gems and gem pouches. He runs the store called Kurtz's Gems, which is located in Horse Clan.

If you ask him about gems, you will receive this message:
He looks up, bothered at first, then smiles stiffly. "You want me to have a look at your gems?" he asks as his eyes roam over your face, sighing. "Very well, either ask me to APPRAISE them or just SELL them to me. I would be happy to help you." He leans against the counter, watching and waiting.

Look Description

The Human before you is disheveled, giving an impression of absent-mindedness. His voluminous coat is of fine construction but has buttons missing, and those left are obviously not buttoned in the precise holes they were intended. His antelope hide boots are faded and a bit water-splashed, and his mouse-brown hair is in so much disarray that you wonder if he had just awoken. Kurtz seems to be hardly aware that you are even in the room. However, you notice that his sharp blue eyes instead gaze intently at his gem collection, inspecting them with his loupe, seemingly memorizing every cut and contour with the precise measurement of a man obsessed with his work.
