Background

Though a devout servant of the lord of the void, Urrem'tier, this Kaldar provides clerical services to those thirsting to remain in the lands of the living . As a commisioned officer of the Silvermist family house guard, he strives to ensure the safety of both the Silvermist Family and the Citizens of Elanthia, when the cities fall under attack.

Description

You see High Priest Kiritan ThunderSoul, Legendary Cleric of Urrem'tier, a Kaldar.

Kiritan(f2).png

A bright aura of holy energy emanates from Kiritan, standing tall and shining with a powerful inner fortitude.

Kiritan has jade eyes. His dark brown hair is shoulder length and wavy, and is worn in a deceptively careless-looking arrangement of upswept locks held in place by a green gold firefall vine spiraled to capture twin molten-core diamond blooms.

A triangular smoke grey diamond adorned with an onyx striking scorpion nestles at the top of his forehead, brightened by faint, darting sparkles deep within the gem.

His right wrist has a tattoo of a sinuous snake-like creature, its writhing head turned to breathe icy clouds that wreathe the skin.

A brilliant orb of rippling cerulean light hovers like a will-o-wisp, following him diligently.

He is holding a scorpid windsteel axe set with a molten diamond and spiritwood grip in his left hand.

He is wearing a sleek icesteel great helm enveloped by artfully sculpted aspects of Urrem'tier, a blackened great helm forged in the semblance of scorpion-like chitin, a blackened steel locket, a shimmering black cloak with lava samite scorpions surging through flames of blood-red rubies, a nightmare black longcoat of stormsilk-lined leather tooled with dark holy symbols', a shimmering midnight black clerical stole with stormsilk embellishments, a scorpid hide prayer book bound with icesteel and dusted with small molten diamonds, a dainty icesteel rat pin with shining fang pearl eyes, a darkened chitin surcoat bearing cambrinth scales set with tiny molten-core diamonds, some scorpid icesteel battle plate set with a trielle molten diamond in the plackart, a thick armband formed by joined segments of blackened carapace, a slender icesteel knife with a silk-wrapped hilt, an icesteel shield embodying waves of lava crashing over a molten diamond, a razor-edged icesteel parry stick engraved with spirits of the fallen rising, some gauntlets of icesteel inlaid with volcanic crags of molten core diamond, a cambrinth-inlaid animite ring shaped like a striking scorpion, a heavy band of gold displaying a sea blue sapphire surrounded by black diamonds, a blood-red prayer sash stitched with dark holy symbols, a gold book-shaped flask engraved with the title "The Sting of the Scorpion" and some crow-winged boots covered in chitin to create the image of sinuous scorpions.

Alterations

PARRY STICK: a razor-edged icesteel parry stick engraved with spirits of the fallen rising

GREAT HELM: a sleek icesteel great helm enveloped by artfully sculpted aspects of Urrem'tier The surface of this helm is a lustrous backdrop to the imagery dominating each hemisphere. The lifelike counterfeit of Eylhaar's somber yet softened countenance rises smoothly from an arctic plane of ice. The serene artistry is shattered by the contrast of Aldauth's visage smiling cruelly with lines of mockery ascending from a dismal battlefield strewn with the mangled forms of those suffering in the throes of death. You see the initials "K. K." impressed into the surface of the metal.

LONGCOAT: a nightmare black longcoat of stormsilk-lined leather tooled with dark holy symbols The nightmare black leather is meticulously tooled with a diverse collection of intricate dark holy symbols. While random at a glance, the placement reveals a complex design of holy writ of unknown meaning. Stormsilk lines the interior of the longcoat and has dexterously worked blackwork embroidery to give the illusion of souls rising through a scintillating storm of electricity when the coat billows in the wind, allowing light to play over the spun platinum and silver thread lining.

GAUNTLETS: some gauntlets of icesteel inlaid with volcanic crags of molten core diamond. The frosty iridescence of these ominous gauntlets plays against each subtle shift of light that encroaches upon their ruggedly forged surface. They are crafted to bind the hands and arms in a frosty translucence that ripples with the roiling cores of each gem. The pulsing blooms of lava emanate waves of incandescent heat which cascade through the frigid surface bringing to mind nature's untamed ferocity. Each edge gleams threateningly as it is engulfed in a sea of razor sharp shards.."

CLOAK: a shimmering black cloak with lava samite scorpions surging through flames of blood-red rubies. Exquisite stitching portrays countless life-like scorpions, done in finely detailed lava samite, swarming between the blood-red rubies that adorn the shimmering fabric. Light pouring across the rare material makes the creatures appear to burn in molten lava. The quality of the craftsmanship is such that the cold gaze of the swarm seems to follow onlookers with each breath of the wind, leaving this illusionary inferno to rage about their unwavering forms."

    • Magical Color: Rub, Pull. Pocketed, blows in the wind (atmospheric)**

SHIELD: an icesteel shield embodying waves of lava crashing over a molten diamond. Meticulously detailed, the sharp edges of each artfully shaped wave catch the light as they sit forever frozen in the the glacial iridescence of translucent icesteel. Buried within this chaotic visage of volcanic fury sits a partially inundated molten diamond, the warm pulse of its fiery heart roiling endlessly. A smoldering life-like light refracts through the frigid metal, granting the illusion of rolling waves of heat and flame, frost-bound in unyielding ice. The icesteel shield reads:"Those most frigid to passions embrace are those trapped in its inferno."

HELM: a blackened great helm forged in the semblance of scorpion-like chitin. The blackened damite has been carefully wrought to resemble layered scorpion chitin and is washed with just the slightest hint of purple and green hues to provide the artful impression of dusky iridescence. Riveted to the metal is a small copper plaque depicting a shield crossed with a longsword overlaying a field of thirteen stars. Encircling the design are the words, "Many Faces - One God."

CLOAK: a rantija of black and blue leather embossed with a striking scorpion. The dual panels of dark-hued leather overlap fully at the top and angle to flare somewhat outward as they fall to the hemline. Ridged to create a realistic-looking representation of chitin, the scorpion is presented with pedipalps down and tail raised, its stinger limned with greenish dye.

STOLE: a shimmering midnight black clerical stole with stormsilk embellishments. The surface of the long ceremonial scarf is accented on one side by two stormy life-like scorpions created from dazzling stormsilk. The two appear locked in a never ending conflict, the fabric from which they're made adding to this with its spun platinum and tarnished silver threads, causing the creatures to appear to crackle with electricity when the light catches them. Along the opposite side, blackwork embroidery creates the appearance of spirits striding along a path leading towards the scorpions.

    • Magical Color: Rub, Pull. Pocketed, blows in the wind (atmospheric)**

SURCOAT: a darkened chitin surcoat bearing cambrinth scales set with tiny molten-core diamonds. The artistically wrought surcoat resembles layered scorpion chitin atop near-completely covered fabric. Pieces of dark cambrinth are set into glaes washed with soft hues of purple and green. The glossy metal casts a dusky iridescence which combines with the diamonds to be reminiscent of the Starry Road itself. Blackwork embroidery upon the exposed cloth is used to create images of spirits striding along the burning path into Urrem'tier's embrace.

    • Worn Cambrinth: 100**

PLATE: some scorpid icesteel battle plate set with a trielle molten diamond in the plackart. Translucent icesteel flows into the visage of interlocking exoskeletal plates. Inlaid bands of windsteel segment the armor, each band hollowed by holy symbols and cast with icesteel to seamlessly rivet the metals together. The ominous coherence is solidified by the inclusion of a trielle molten diamond set flush within the plackart. The roiling luminescence refracts through the cool surface of the bluish metal, its smoldering lifelike light seeming caged within the accenting holy symbols.

WEAPON: a scorpid windsteel axe set with a molten diamond and spiritwood grip. The darkened windsteel blade arcs down gracefully, mirroring an ominous scorpion telson. The thick metal of the haft is forged into the likeness of interlocking scorpion chitin with a molten-core diamond imprisoned within the windsteel. The molten bloom within the gem creates the impression of lava smoldering at the heart of the blade. Embossed holy symbols spiral down into flowing script before vanishing beneath a molded spiritwood handle wrapped with a two-tone diamond hide strapping. The scorpid windsteel axe reads:"The wise cower before storms, moonless nights, and the anger of a gentle man."

BOOTS: some crow-winged boots covered in chitin to create the image of sinuous scorpion. Dark, sculpted leather and chitin blend to form large, realistically styled scorpions posed as if ready to strike. The aloft stingers and glinting eyes are wrought from blackened steel washed with just the slightest hint of purple and green, mirroring the nighttime iridescence of the feathered wings that grace the sides of the boots and giving the entire design a deadly coherence.

    • Magical: Invoke**

RING: a crested gold thumb ring . The ring has been engraved with the crest of the Clerics' Guild -- a pair of hands, one light and one dark, cradling a bridge that spans the two palms. Crossing the bridge are several people in various stages of life and death. In the center of the design are the initials "K.T."

KITTEN: a wild-eyed ivory kitten wearing a set of miniature storm-grey firesilk mail sailing a graceful small-scale galleon. The kitten wears mock battle armor which shows scuffs and scrapes with odd discoloration in some areas. A multitude of roughly carved onyx scorpions are inset along the sides and back of the armor in a manner that appears as though they are swarming over the surface. Though somewhat decorative in appearance, their sharp edges suggest a different purpose. A chitin fragment reads "The void waits" in spidery scroll.

RAT: a midnight black rat with crimson eyes harnessed in a life-like scorpion chitin crawls from a scorpid hide prayer book bound with icesteel and dusted with small molten diamonds The life-like exoskeletal body of the design is crafted from dark interlocking leather and is grooved and notched to provide the impression of a battle tested fighter. The workmanship rolls fluidly with the movements of the small body beneath and the imagery is completed by the inclusion of ominous looking pedipalps, sharply pointed legs and a telson which sways to and fro, poised to strike.

SKINNING KNIFE: a slender icesteel knife with a silk-wrapped hilt that you are wearing
