Race Gnome
Gender Male
Guild Cleric

Formally a Gravedigger in a small Gnomish community South of Leth Deriel, Karmac has given up his meager possessions in order to service the Gods. Recently joining the Cleric guild and dedicating his faith to the Gnomish deity Spangklud, Karmac can be seen honoring the God by immersing himself in the crafts.

Appearance

You see Karmac Rhodri, Friar, a Gnome Cleric. He has a round face, close-set violet eyes and a small nose. He has thinning grey hair, with wrinkled skin and a stout build.
He is a bit over average height for a Gnome.
Some ghastly jawless skulls float lazily around his head, glowing with a lustrous sheen against his skin.
He is an adult.
He has a thick bushy mustache that droops heavily on his upper lip and a long shaggy beard.

Attire

He is wearing a pair of inventor's spectacles with multiple retractable lenses, a gloriously polished jade ring inlaid with bronze gremlins, a sjatmal gwethdesuan, an old rusty pendant, an elegant black spidersilk waistcoat with grey leather piping, a formal sash of black and grey brocade fringed with heavy gold, some black suspenders, a topaz icesilk dress shirt with animite fasteners, a tiny spidersilk belt, a jade-hilted skinning knife displaying the Clerics' Guild crest, an inventor's ironwood gadget box labeled "Karmac", a simple leather herb pouch, some exquisitely tailored black breeches of leather-trimmed spidersilk, some polished black leather boots with gold-trimmed leather tassels, a jade green sack and a tiny spidersilk backpack clasped with an animite Gnome.

History

Karmac left his former community, mostly made up of extended family members, and has begun life in the Crossings. This move was inspired by his cousin Tiso, who told him he needs to be "greater than your size." Having formally served as a Gravedigger, Karmac was familiar with death rites and clerical practices concerning burials. Having grown too old to continue digging, a friend had mentioned that perhaps he could practice a less physical and more spiritual profession. Karmac made his way North to the Crossings and joined with the Cleric's located there.

While in the Crossings, Karmac did some studying on the religions of the Gnomes and the various gods which they observed before the Gorbesh infection. Having found a connection between his own desires and the path of the god Spangklud, Karmac has abandoned the traditional Gravedigger worship of Urrem'tier.

When he first dedicated his life to Spangklud, he donated everything he owned to charity. He felt that he should only have what his god has been able to provide for him, so for a short time he wore rags while he worked on his crafts. Becoming a able tailor, Karmac has been able to earn a steady amount of income which has allowed him to purchace several rather ostentacious pieces of clothing.
