Imbue
Abbreviation: IMB
Prerequisites: Circle 20, Focus Moonbeam
Minimum Prep: 8
Casting Cap: 75
Valid Spell Target: Enchantable item
Description: The Imbue spell energizes an object with an intense level of Lunar mana, readying any useless item into something that an enchanter can use. It takes two castings of this spell to fully prepare an item, though complex objects will often resist the process. Larger objects require greater amounts of mana to successfully imbue. Some Moon Mages who can't enchant still take this spell to help those that can as apprentice.
Example Messaging: You channel Lunar energy through the spell pattern and into the <item>, feeling confident that another cast like this will imbue it permanently.

The <item> twists and warps as if caught in a heat wave, then abruptly stops

Notes

  • You cannot use Imbue on anything that is already magical, verbed, or has any kind of special mechanic.
