The Grovekeepers are the mysterious group of mages who direct the Warrior Mage Guild. Lathaelor is the group's head and the only one allowed to use the title of Grovekeeper. They are primarily concerned with the philosophical direction of the guild, maintaining its consistency through the mandate of guild requirements and quests. They now also oversee all ability and spell development, although they delegate these tasks to cloistered groups of Warrior Mage scholars. The final word on what spells and abilities are 'appropriate' to teach members of the guild belongs with Lathaelor.
Their name derives from their location of Firulf's Grove, the mythical location where the first elemental mages gathered and formed an organization for the teaching and usage of Elemental Magic.
