[Golden Phoenix, Front Desk]
Two brass lamps topped with stained glass shades rest on a carved rosewood check-in desk where a supercilious-looking clerk watches the lobby. The walls are covered with gold damask, tasseled silk cords hold velvet drapes away from leaded windows and wing chairs upholstered with figured satin sit around a low carved table. A plaster molding relief of intertwined flowers and leaves decorates the ceiling and wool runner carpets protect the polished wood floor. A heavy oak door leads out to the street. You also see a rosewood archway and a goldfish bowl sitting atop a low table.

[Golden Phoenix, Tavern Room]
The sharp scent of spices overlays the yeast of baking bread and the savor of roasting meats. Candlelight sparkles off cut-glass decanters and gleaming china on immaculate linen tablecloths. Pale yellow rosebuds in crystal vases are placed on each table along with a leather-bound menu, gold flatware place settings are meticulously laid out, ready for the guest's dining pleasure. Booths nestled against the walls allow for privacy, or guests can choose to sit at a table. You also see a rosewood archway and the publican.

A massive rosewood bar runs the length of one wall, its surface polished to a high gloss. Behind the bar are rows of glasses, bottles and decanters stacked on shelves within easy reach of the bartender. Tables dot the room, ample space is left between them to allow for privacy. A young couple dances as a bard sitting on a small platform plucks a spritely tune from his mandolin.

Delphiniums mixed with green fern fill a glazed blue urn sitting upon a metal stand, and the walls are covered with azure and gold striped paper topped with gilded moulding. Brass rods hold the runner carpet covering the stairs in place and the aroma of lemony beeswax polish lingers about the rosewood bannister. You also see a set of stairs.

The upper hallway is decorated with the same azure and gold striped paper and gilded moulding as in the lower corridor. A glass frame holding a colorful pressed flower arrangement hangs opposite a marble statue atop a metal stand. You also see a carved rosewood door, a rosewood bannister, a set of stairs and a marquetry door.

[Golden Phoenix, Pegasus Suite]
White silk curtains held apart by gold cord hang at the windows and the pure white fur of some polar animal carpets the floor in front of the fireplace. The walls are covered in pale blue silk, a mural depicting a winged horse charging through the clouds is painted on the ceiling. A large brass-posted bed topped by a canopy of sheer white fabric dominates the center of the room. You also see a carved rosewood door.

Deep blues pervade the room, casting shadows even in daylight. Several ancient leather-bound volumes sit in a tall, glass-doored bookcase resting against one wall. A large statue of a roc fills one corner of the room, a low bed shaped like a sleigh occupies the corner opposite the sculpture. You also see a marquetry door.

The azure and gold striped paper and gilded moulding continues throughout the hallway. A mirror held by a gilded metal frame embellished with sculpted roses hangs on the wall at the end of the corridor. You also see a gold leaf door and a black oak door.

A mosaic of a phoenix above the mantle gives an illusion of the creature rising from the flames of the fireplace. Tapestries hang on the dark wood paneled walls, scarlet satin clothes the bed and pillows, and heavy ecru lace curtains adorn the windows. A chess table, its figures carved of red and black marble, sits on a black laquered table. You also see a gold leaf door.

A colorful hand-painted silk screen depicting battling gryphons stands to one side of a dark green lacquered wardrobe. An inlaid writing desk holding a white quill pen and sheets of parchment neatly stacked on the blotter sits near the window. A pale green bolster within a crocheted case rests on the polished cotton comforter covering the bed, and a lace dust ruffle cascades from under the bedclothes to brush the floor. You also see a black oak door.

A quiet passage lined with plush gold-edged maroon carpeting and polished rosewood paneling runs along the back of the inn. Trophies from hunting expeditions hang upon the walls -- a snarling snowbeast captured in a lifelike pose, and a buffalo head looming over those who pass through the corridor. Unlike the upstairs rooms, these apartments are owned by their residents, local citizens who prefer the convenience of life at the inn. You also see a metal door, a sturdy metal door, a polished brass candle sconce and a sturdy metal door.

Carved mahogany moldings run the length of the hallway, the dark wood contrasting with the polished rosewood paneling on the walls. The head and claws of a black leucro are mounted upon a wooden shield on the wall, the green glass eyes balefully surveying all who pass beneath its stretch of hall. On the opposite wall, a hunting scene is mounted in a gilded frame. You also see an abandoned cherrywood door, a sturdy metal door and an abandoned metal door.

[Golden Phoenix, Corridor]
The corridor bends to the northeast past the majestic figure of a desumos. A triumph of the taxidermist's art, the golden mane and tawny pelt maintain their original sheen, while the glittering blue glass eyes and ivory fangs add to the realism. Residents have donated crested wooden shields which hang upon rich silk banners along the walls. You also see an abandoned metal door, a sturdy metal door and a polished rosewood door.

[Golden Phoenix, Corridor]
A golden sunburst is inlaid into the rosewood paneling at the end of the hallway. Carved within the sunburst is the image of a phoenix rising from the flames, its wings outstretched toward the sky. The soft gleam of the gold is reflected in the rosewood walls. In the corner, a brass pot holds an oversized fern. The feathery fronds tumble over the sides of the pot to gently brush the deep maroon carpet. You also see a door covered in sheets and tacked with a large sign reading "CONDEMNED", a silver-inlaid ebony door with a mat that has a pair of cat's paws painted on it. and an abandoned silkwood door.
