Equipment Stats
The COMPARE command gives information about the relative attributes of two items of the same type (weapon, shield, armor, or container).
This command uses your Appraisal skill but does not yield a significant amount of experience.
Syntax
COMPARE <ITEM 1> WITH <ITEM 2> COMPARE <PLAYER> <ITEM 1> WITH <ITEM 2>
Sample Output
> COMPARE GREATSWORD WITH SWORD
You are certain that the gleaming silver greatsword is somewhat stronger than the gleaming silver sword.
You are certain that the gleaming silver greatsword is far less balanced than the gleaming silver sword.
You are certain that the gleaming silver greatsword is about as suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength as the gleaming silver sword.
You are certain that the gleaming silver greatsword does about as much puncture damage as the gleaming silver sword.
You are certain that the gleaming silver greatsword does more slice damage than the gleaming silver sword.
You are certain that the gleaming silver greatsword does a little more impact damage than the gleaming silver sword.

Container Sizes
You can compare a container with an item to see whether the item will fit in the container.
Syntax
COMPARE <CONTAINER> WITH <ITEM>
