I think the call-letter system's becoming a somewhat less-desireable and unintuitive way to list the books. The call letters for all the copies of a given book are almost never identical, and in the case of at least one book at least one of the copies has a completely unrelated call letter!

  • book titles are less likely to vary even if the call letters do so (and in the case of many books, they do to at least a slight degree)
  • titles convey a clearer reference (no more clicking on the HRwftBBB link and opening up the wrong book)

Since we will have to revisit every book page, any additional thoughts on further categorizations? Not entirely sure we need more, but a single 1000-book category probably could usefully be divided up a little more. --Symphaena 16:55, 2 August 2007 (CDT)
