You forgot to say all that LOUDLY.  :-)

todo list category

Hey Caraamon, I don't in the slightest want to discourage you from taking on as much fixing up of stuff as you want, but it's generally not a good idea to add articles in the main space into a personal category like you have done with Category:Caraamon's ToDo List. The reason is that if a lot of people started doing this, a lot of articles would have long and unwieldy lists of categories at the end which aren't useful to most people. It's better to just make a list on your own user page with links to the articles you want to work on.

Generally speaking, article content itself should be completely devoid of personal identifiers like that since the whole point of a wiki is that everyone is entitled to edit anything, and thus every article belongs to everyone. The main exception to that is user pages, where you are understood to be the king of your own castle. --Farman 22:59, 8 April 2008 (CDT)

Ya I know, but I'm having a hard time keeping track of the things I need to update short of a ton of bookmarks than I never keep straight anyways. But you've got a point, so I'll remove the link from any article that actually has a decent amount of info so it doesn't clutter it up.Caraamon 20:46, 9 April 2008 (CDT)
