Syntax

  • UNLOCK <TARGET>
Unlocks a home or another target that does not require an explicitly named key.
  • UNLOCK <TARGET> WITH <KEY>
Attempts to unlock a door, container or other lockable object with a held key.

Notes

  • Most keyed locks require the matching key to be held. An incorrect key does not unlock the target.
  • Homes do not require a key. A home's owner or designated guest can unlock it with UNLOCK <HOME>.
  • Spellbooks fitted with a lock use UNLOCK <SPELLBOOK> WITH <KEY>. The spellbook must be held or worn.
  • Unlocking does not open the target; use OPEN afterward.
