So, the perk. With a Holy Weapon, your empowered SMITEs have a modest chance to trigger a full AoE Smite Horde instead of the single-target blast. This confers the benefits of a normal cast, such as strengthening and maintaining the Sidasas Sedra empowerment. Yes, it resets the 1 minute duration.
