This spell creates the image of a banner floating above the area. When you cast it, it “fades into view overhead.” When it fails (or is released), it “fades out of sight.” This messaging cannot be changed, so your design should make sense in that context.

Because it’s a magical image and not a physical object, your design should not mention materials or anything tangible.

Because this is a manifestation of holy magic, it’s unlikely that the Paladins who alter these would take part in creating anything that is not in keeping with the spirit of the guild. (So no banners that glorify demons, necromancy, sorcery, crime, etc.)

noun: must remain banner

TAP (the object you see in the room):

  • Must not exceed 80 characters (including spaces)
  • Must not use commas or other punctuation marks
  • Must not contain quotes or phrases (that’s what the read is for)

LOOK: Must not exceed 500 characters (including spaces and punctuation)

READ:

  • The amount of text should make sense for a banner. For a limit, think something like 15 words/100 characters. (It need not be this long.)
  • This can be written as a phrase or as a sentence.
  • It will be enclosed in quotation marks.
