Kerennya stood staring at the items she'd collected as she stood in her little dwelling out the north gate of Riverhaven. Two boulder deeds, 400 yards of cotton fiber, her dye tub, some dye she'd collected from Keridai, the last two editions of the First Land Herald, and 20 pieces of paper in different colors from that little shop in Siksraja, Slafs Riza Rakstit.

She pulled out her distaff and quickly turned the cotton fiber into average thread. She then cut the thread into 70-yard lengths and grabbed her dye tub. Starting with scarlet, she dyed one length of thread scarlet, one length indigo, one length forest-green, and the final length golden. Each time, the thread quickly soaked up the dye, and before long, she had a length of thread in each color.

Then she picked up the two deeds, ran to the Haven Engineering Society, and tapped the first one. She spent a good hour carving the boulder into a thick stone slab. When she finished, she wrestled the slab into her eddy and repeated the process for the second deed. This slab she carried back to her dwelling, grunting with effort the last part of the way. When she got it inside, she hammered several large nails into her wall and hung the first slab on them, hoping they would hold the weight of the large slab. When it appeared they would, she repeated the process, so that both slabs had their long end parallel to the ground and one was placed on top of the other, resulting in a large flat surface she could affix things to.

Next she cut 1 piece of paper in half widthwise and labeled it "Wild Magic", then heated some the white wax she'd stocked up on from the quasi-recent Estate Holders' mini-fest and used a dab to affix that paper to the center of her surface. Then she took the remaining half-paper and cut it in half again. Those two pieces of paper she labeled "MM Visions" and "Holy Visions" and used the wax to put those two items in another section of her surface. She repeated that process until she had quarter-papers affixed to her surface labeled "Elanthia Visions", "Asildu", "Miraena", "Valenal", "Liraxes", "Unaka", "Heralds", "Immortals", "Happenings", and "Theories". She affixed a golden thread connecting Immortals with Holy visions, a green one connecting Heralds with Elanthia Visions, and an indigo one connecting each of the messengers with Theories.

Then came the part she had been dreading - filling in all of the information they had so far. She decided to start with the holy visions since there hadn't been very many of those. Starting with the vision of the Gor'Tog that Mother Jaelia had received, she began writing. Before long, she hit a rhythm, and she worked steadily, not even pausing to eat when her stomach started growling.

When darkness finally fell, she had only managed to finish posting all the visions, and that was after another trip to Siksraja for more paper. She knew she still needed to firm up her own convictions about what was was right, and she needed this project to do that.

She sat pondering as she ate a rack of roasted yeehar she'd grabbed on a recent trip to Muspar'i and stuck in her picnic basket, savoring the sweet, yet smoky flavor. There was much yet left to do, but tomorrow was another day.
