You say, "Okay, there may still be some people on the way, but I think we should get started. There's quite a bit to discuss this evening."
Tirost shakes Hanryu's hand. Sofina laughs! Ayrell smiles at Tirost. Phierre leans against some sturdy bookcases packed with reference material. Casari nods to Aislynn. Zersha smiles at you, revealing the dimples in her cheeks. Sofina grins at Zersha. Imroth says, "Oh good. I hope there have been developments." Rileos casually observes the area. Rileos sits down on the comfortable chair. Jaelia beams at Hanryu! Hanryu leans against some sturdy bookcases packed with reference material. Tirost smiles at Ayrell. Rileos asks, "Y'all just left this open, what's wrong with you?" Phierre nods politely to Hanryu. Zersha grins at Rileos, her dimples flashing into view. Hanryu grins at Valynn. Kethrai says, "I dunno, I wouldn't mind for things going back to boring. But that doesn't seem to be in the cards." Zersha says to Rileos, "We were saving it for you." Rileos flashes a quick grin at Zersha. Rileos says to Zersha, "You're a saint, darlin." Aislynn hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return. Zersha says to Rileos, "An adorable one." Aislynn winces. Zersha preens. Someone's pleased with herself! Jaelia takes a sip of her tea. Zersha bursts out in a sudden snort of laughter. Ayrell smiles at Tirost. Ezathiel takes a sip of his coffee. Rileos squints at Zersha. You say, "Hello, and thank you all for coming! At present, the visions from studying the heavens don't seem to have changed recently. However, there are quite a few visions to discuss that were the result of a recent experiment on performing predictions under the influence of wild magic." Rileos nods at Zersha, obviously agreeing with her views. Illiya stands up. Zersha grins at Rileos, her dimples flashing into view. Phierre peers quizzically at Illiya. Valynn gazes at you. Ryeka nods to you. Hebion ponders. Imroth nods. Raising his silversteel tankard to you, Tirost gives you a toast. Cheers! Gwenddolyn waves. Ezathiel gazes at you. Imroth waves to Gwenddolyn. Tirost raises his tankard, drinking deeply from the Dwarven ale inside. Jaelia taps a comfortable chair with Elothean silk upholstery. Tirost waves to Gwenddolyn. Jaelia sits down on the comfortable chair. Ezathiel sits down on the comfortable chair. Gwenddolyn chuckles. Ezathiel shifts his weight. Ezathiel leans back. Jaelia beams at Gwenddolyn! Sofina nods to Zersha. Imroth waves to Sofina. Tirost smiles at Gwenddolyn. Sofina nods to Imroth. You say, "As a quick background on recent developments, there was a gathering of adventurers who went through the Astral Plane to the Planar Observatory, attempting to see if the Planar Telescope would show anything usual that might be related to these disruptions of mana that we've been experiencing." Zersha cocks her head at Hebion. Ryeka nods. You say, "The Telescope itself did not seem to show anything more unusual than it already does, but while in the Astral Plane people heard from a being that is perhaps Cashek gand Aldam, who on occasion helps out travelers in the plane." Ezathiel raises an eyebrow. Tirost glances at Ayrell. Zersha gives Hebion a slight nod. You say, "The word 'Liraxes' was heard. And then apparently clarified to be a name, with the phrase "Liraxes assembles itself." Ryeka blinks. Zersha gazes at you. Imroth says, "Travelling to the Planar Telescope was one for the books." Kethrai nods to Aislynn. Tirost asks you, "I'm sorry to interrupt, Miskton. Can you say more about Cashek gand Aldam?" Ryeka nods in agreement. You say, "There's not much known. She'll occasionally nudge travelers in the Astral Plane toward safety." Jaelia smiles at Leilanie. Leilanie smiles at Jaelia. Tirost nods to you. Jaelia says to Leilanie, "Thank you for joining us, it is good to see you again from the Empath Courtyard." You say, "Which would seem to put her in opposition to Pelag ai Aldam." Anuril studies the faces around him. Leilanie smiles. Kethrai ponders. Leilanie says, "Thank you for the welcome." Kethrai asks, "Was she Named in the same way, then?" Ryeka curtsies to Leilanie. Gwenddolyn nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views. Illiya says, "The being named herself as Pelag ai Aldam I thought." Tirost raises his tankard, drinking deeply from the Dwarven ale inside. Leilanie curtsies to Ryeka. Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks. Phierre winks at Medikaus. Jaelia beams at Medikaus! Sofina nods to Zersha. Medikaus grins at Phierre. Kethrai says, "Pelag ai Aldam, the Servant of Fate. Cashek gand Aldam, the Fighter against Fate." Belzor bows his head, acknowledging Ezerak. Belzor bows his head, acknowledging Ayrell. You say to Illiya, "It was my understanding that the large gathering had attracted Pelag's attention, and she was trying to get people out before he could come after them." Imroth says, "Aldam guys." Ayrell nods politely to Belzor. Ayrell smiles at Belzor. Illiya nods to you. Ezerak shakes Belzor's hand. Illiya says, "I'm really clucless about this astral travel stuff." Belzor shakes Ezerak's hand. Illiya grins like an idiot. Ezathiel takes a sip of his coffee. Zersha grins at Illiya, her dimples flashing into view. Zersha quietly says to Illiya, "Me too." Belzor pets his russet lynx. Imroth nods at Illiya, obviously agreeing with her views. Phierre offers Illiya a cup of oshu'mary tea. You say, "And she was likely named by Nera as well, though I don't think there's any records or Bardic historical remnants of that happening." Belzor scratches his russet lynx. Phierre says, "Drink this.. it will help." Illiya leans on Zersha. Phierre winks at Illiya. Kethrai nods to you. Anuril glances outside a moment. Phierre takes a sip of his tea. Jaelia beams at Briaen! Rileos nods to Briaen. Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation. Tirost nods to Briaen. Ryeka smiles at Briaen, revealing the dimples in her cheeks. Medikaus takes a sip of his frostwynne. Illiya sniffs at a cup of oshu'mary tea. Valynn nods politely to Briaen. You say, "I bring all of that up, because the name Liraxes will come up against as we discuss the visions this evening." Phierre takes a sip of his tea. Rileos looks at Briaen, obviously trying not to grin. You clear your throat. You say, "Come up again." Kethrai bows to Briaen. Ryeka nods to you. Ayrell smiles at you. Illiya takes a sip of her tea. Ezathiel observes you with fascination. Tirost nods to Karthor. Ezathiel takes a sip of his coffee. Phierre grins at Illiya, his dimples flashing into view. You say, "So, in an attempt to get some clues as to what might be going on with these mana disruptions, I held an experiment to perform predictions on various people, while exposed to the effects of Wild Magic. Both on myself, and on some of the subjects." Phierre takes a sip of his tea. You say, "Vaerek also assisted with performing some of the predictions." Ryeka nods to you. You say, "We ended up having results, though of course very little is crystal clear." You say, "So, I think it makes sense to go through the visions experienced, in the order they occurred." Imroth nods. You say, "The first vision was performed using Kethrai as a subject." Ayrell nods. Zersha gazes thoughtfully at Kethrai. Kethrai strikes a heroic pose. Ezerak nods. Anuril grins at Kethrai. Tirost smiles at Kethrai. Ryeka grins at Kethrai, her dimples flashing into view. Ezathiel chuckles. You say, "After a moment, I smelled pine and felt the need to wipe sawdust from my hands. A wooden box rested in my hands, as yet unpolished, but expertly assembled with precise dovetails. Opposing pine and oak made for a striking contrast, and the lid appeared as a fractional gap interrupting the grain. Before my eyes, the box appeared to shift, and became a smoothly interlocked orb. As I blinked, the vision faded, and the box disappeared." Valynn gazes at Kethrai. Belzor gazes at a russet lynx. Belzor squints. Phierre takes a sip of his tea. Tirost gazes thoughtfully at Briaen. You say, "There have been a few recent visions of woodworkers and lumberjacks, which may or may not be related in some way." Ryeka nods to you. Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation. Tirost laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement. Rileos appears to be trying hard not to grin. Ezathiel takes a sip of his coffee. Ryeka blinks. You say, "My inclination is to think this is one of the more metaphorical visions, though exactly what is unclear. The box is not quite finished, and transforms into an orb..." Gwenddolyn says, "Hopefully not an orb full of disease." Briaen praises Kethrai. You nod to Gwenddolyn. You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. Briaen gulps. Zersha grins at Allye, her dimples flashing into view. Leilanie knits her eyebrows together in a thoughtful frown. Allye squints at Briaen. Ezathiel stands up. Ezathiel hugs Allye, getting a smile in return. Ezathiel smiles at Allye. Ryeka pats Briaen on the back. Allye hugs Ezathiel, who wraps his arms around Allye with a warm smile. Imroth shrugs. You say, "The next subject for a vision was Yvela..." Ezathiel sits down on the comfortable chair. Ezathiel leans back. Allye waves to Zersha. Allye perks her ears up happily as she gazes at Ryeka. You say, "After a moment, burning pitch stung my eyes and the sky shattered, dripping reflective shards of rainbowed light. I watched this strange skyfall, mesmerized by the tumbling images of the sky and land spinning in every direction. As I watched, the pieces picked up speed and began to slam into the ground, exploding into crystalline fire and evaporating. Gaps in the sky writhed with bulges of nothingness, and suddenly, one of the shards sliced my cheek! I gasped in surprise as crystal erupted along my face, covering my eyes, my vision skewing wildly. The vision faded, and everything returned to normal." Zersha blinks. Ryeka blinks. Karthor mutters something into the air about the sky falling. Phierre takes a sip of his tea. You say, "Crystal raining from the sky evokes thoughts of the Involuted Passage, of course..." Tirost nods in agreement. Ezathiel nods in agreement. Karthor nods. Imroth nods to you. Kethrai says, "Gaps in the sky bulging with nothingness reminds me of seeing into the Planar Void..." Ryeka frowns. You nod. Gwenddolyn says, "Earlier tonight, I was casting anti stun, and then I heard A crash of shattering glass echoes through the area. You are overcome by a sense of wrongness." You say, "And infectious crystal, apparently, judging by the results when touched by it." Ryeka nods to Gwenddolyn. Ryeka says, "I noticed that sense of wrongness too." Aislynn frowns. Zersha looks at Hebion, obviously trying not to grin, but the dimples in her cheeks give her away. Imroth nods in agreement. Belzor pets his russet lynx. Gwenddolyn says, "For holy magic users." Anuril says to Gwenddolyn, "A common occurrance these days." Leilanie nods in agreement. Belzor scratches his russet lynx. Belzor smiles at a russet lynx. Ryeka asks, "Oh, Miskton- remember that Shield of Light scroll I described to you?" Kethrai says, "The shattering glass and sense of wrongness is a wild magic effect... It seems to be warded off by Meraud's Commune, at least." Imroth says, "I think everyone gets that sometimes with the wild magic going on." You nod to Ryeka. Ryeka holds a frosty black tablet high into the air for all to see. Ryeka says, "This is it." Ryeka says, "I found it in my hands after reseawrching wild magic." You say, "And that bulging nothingness coming through the holes in the sky would mean that it is apparently the force that caused the sky to shatter." Ryeka nods to Valynn. Kethrai looks thoughtfully at Ryeka. Ryeka smiles at Valynn, revealing the dimples in her cheeks. Valynn grins at Ryeka. Ryeka says, "While it is a pretty shield, I already know the spell." You say to Ryeka, "It is interesting that it takes that form. Most of the items found from the studying are more lumps of unidentified material." Ryeka nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views. Kethrai asks you, "And they aren't spell patterns. Those just... intrude into people's minds, yeah?" Jaelia exclaims, "I am going to find someone with a ship, and we are going out to sea to do an experiment! Or a place near the sea then!" Jaelia nods. Medikaus takes a sip of his frostwynne. Rileos leans back. Hebion peers quizzically at Jaelia. You say to Kethrai, "And then take physical form, somehow." Allye ponders. Tirost says to you, "The sound of breaking glass and the dripping reflective shards are interesting." Tirost says, "They suggest a kind of barrier, that allows some things through and protects from others." Aislynn quietly says, "There have been several visions over the years that featured the sound of breaking glass." You say to Tirost, "A concept that has definitely come up before." You nod to Tirost. Jaelia says to Hebion, "I think that if I can find a place in the general sea area where the Involuted Passage remnants that exploded and fell to the sea and other areas, if I can pull some its alien patterns of fate and destruction from an outside force, and weave them into our current threads, if it might be able to be a high enough outside force magic or technology that will allow for better insight." Zersha gazes thoughtfully at Jaelia. Kethrai gazes thoughtfully at Jaelia. Hebion says, "Planar barriers have often been considered mirrors." Sofina shifts her weight. Hebion says to Jaelia, "I may be able to help you find a ship to use." Phierre quietly says to Illiya, "This is going to be a two cup of tea sort of meeting." Jaelia beams at Hebion! Hebion says to Jaelia, "Talk to me after this meeting and we'll figure out some details." Illiya grins at Phierre, her dimples flashing into view. Jaelia nods to Hebion. Illiya takes a sip of her tea. Phierre takes a sip of his tea. Zersha offers Belzor some chocolate covered coffee-beans. Belzor accepts Zersha's chocolate coffee-beans. Belzor smiles. Zersha grins at Belzor, her dimples flashing into view. You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. You say, "The next vision was experienced by Vaerek, using Tirost as a subject." Gwenddolyn says, "Oh oh." You say, "A bell was struck in the distance, an odd tone with several harmonics. He felt himself yanked forward, falling to his knees, and when he looked up, a large hexagonal bell etched in strange symbols hovered in the air before him. The bell was struck, and he was buffeted backward by the deafening sound. The vision faded, and he wobbled uncertainly." Gwenddolyn grins at Tirost, her dimples flashing into view. You say, "This seems to have a callback to another recent vision." Phierre closes his eyes for a moment and grows still. Sofina nods to Zersha. Ryeka blinks. Aislynn nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views. You say, ""Oh yes, this one was always my favorite!" said a bent old man as he studied a hexagonal bell covered in elaborate script. "Rung on the equinox, such a delight to hear." Hebion whispers something to Zersha. Zersha gazes thoughtfully at Hebion. You exclaim, "The man continued on through the exhibit, smiling and nodding at each piece, wistfully nodding at paintings, barely able to keep his hands off the artifacts. Every object had a story, and each seemed intimately familiar to the man. Completing a circuit around the room, the man returned to the hexagonal bell, and once again remarked, "Ah the equinox bell! How I loved hearing it!" You say, "I watched the man repeat the circuit, and then the vision faded." Allye angles her ears forward, gazing curiously at you. Illiya asks, "Interesting.. when was that previous vision seen?" Karthor scratches his head. Medikaus takes a sip of his frostwynne. Tirost raises his tankard, drinking deeply from the Dwarven ale inside. Sofina says something in Ilithic. Gwenddolyn says, "Must be on aesry." Jaelia asks, "With them mentioning an Equinox Bell, its that a potential time specific one to our upcoming Winter Season, or Spring after that - or just a potential or more symbolic?" You say to Illiya, "A few months ago." Karthor says, "Sounds like some sort o' museum." Illiya nods to you. Aislynn nods to Karthor. Anuril asks, "Is there an equinox on day 300 of the calendar? In four days?" Anuril ponders. Jaelia exclaims, "In four days!" Jaelia flails her arms about. Gwenddolyn says, "They equinox is celebrated in aesry by ringing bells." Valynn raises an eyebrow in Anuril's direction. Rileos runs his fingers through his hair. Ryeka blinks. Hebion nods to Zersha. Ryeka nods to Gwenddolyn. Ryeka nods. Imroth ponders. Valynn furrows her brow. Hebion says to Gwenddolyn, "It's hardly contained to the one island." Gwenddolyn says, "They do a ritual there that takes place nowhere else." Zersha nibbles her lip thoughtfully. Hebion gazes upward. Gwenddolyn says, "Using the stones there too." Tirost says to you, "In the sound of the bell at a distance preceded me falling forward to my knees, then the sound of the bell when it was present before me buffetted me back." Phierre takes a sip of his tea. Karthor says, "That's quite the bell." Leilanie ponders. Ezathiel stands up. Navesi nods politely. Zersha softly asks, "Isn't there a museum in Throne City? Does it have a bell?" Aislynn nods to Navesi. Ezathiel smiles at Navesi. Leilanie smiles at Navesi. Ezathiel sits down on the comfortable chair. Ezathiel leans back. Medikaus takes a sip of his frostwynne. Ezerak hugs Navesi, getting a smile in return. Hanryu hails Navesi with a clenched fist over his heart and a respectful nod. Ryeka says, "There is a museum in Throne City. I'm not sure about the bell." You say to Zersha, "I'm not familiar with one matching that particular description." Zersha nods to Ryeka. Zersha nods to you. Zersha blushes, the tips of her ears turning a delicate scarlet hue. Ryeka chuckles. Tirost says, "I feel like the hexagonal shape is significant, but I can't make any associations." Jaelia says to Gwenddolyn, "Clerics can do that ritual. IT may be worth to travel out there a bit spontaneously with some of us just in case it is more literal. Normally they are not that literal, but it doesn't hurt." Karthor says to Tirost, "I was just goin' to ask about that." Karthor grins. Kethrai says, "Matches the number of Elements or Elemental planes." Anuril nods to Kethrai. You nod to Kethrai. Allye looks thoughtfully at Kethrai. Tirost raises an eyebrow in Kethrai's direction. Navesi says, "That we know of." Ryeka says, "I do seem to remember seeing a hexagonal bell in a shop. I wouldn't swear to it." Illiya takes a sip of her tea. Illiya says to Kethrai, "Interesting." Tirost says, "There are metal and electricity that seem different from the others - though perhaps the metal plane is not a plane like the others, as the Plane of Electricity also seems different from the others." Kethrai clears his throat. Anuril dryly says, "There is no metal plane." Rileos looks at Anuril, obviously trying not to grin. (Jaelia starts counting out numbers on her fingers as she thinks.) You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. Tirost asks Anuril, "Have you tried to align to it?" Anuril says, "Don't be delusional." Kethrai gazes upward. Zersha glances at Anuril. You say, "The next vision was experienced using Saragos as a subject." Ezathiel gazes at you. Jaelia says, "Would it be bad to take a group of at least Six Clerics to the Stones on Aesry make a hexagon and ring bells - We'll think about it regardless." Ezathiel takes a sip of his coffee. Jaelia nods to you. Belzor pets his russet lynx. Belzor scratches his russet lynx. You say, "My hands itched, and I clapped them together in irritation. The feeling persisted, and I could not shake the sense of something left unfinished - an orlog assembled but missing a final component. For some reason, I was confident that while something was missing, the whole was operational. As I pondered this certainty, the stars began to howl, and the sensation passed." Brief flashes of silver light illuminate the surroundings in sharp bursts as shimmering bolts arc from within the depths of the shadowy orb, swirling around Jaelia merely to rejoin with their parent on the other side. Belzor casually observes the area. Hebion nods to Zersha. You say, "This seems likely to be related to Liraxes, and the process of assembling itself." Tirost nods to you. Ezathiel furrows his brow. Karthor asks, "Are itchy hands a common way to experience feelin' somethin' is unfinshed?" You say, "Still missing something apparently, at least at that time. But not something it strictly requires." Ryeka asks, "Why not try it?" Kethrai says, "Six clerics, at the same place and the same time? Seems both impossible and dangerous." Karthor scratches his head. Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks. Navesi says, "Seems to me like the sensation of missing something that isn't physical. Like magic, maybe." Jaelia grins at Kethrai. Belzor scratches his russet lynx. Anuril grins at Kethrai. Allye nods to Navesi. Belzor squints. Rileos asks Karthor, "You don't get the itch?" Jaelia whispers something to Kethrai. Navesi says, "Or something else we've come to rely on that isn't truly necessary to function on our own." Ezerak glances at Rileos. Kethrai says, "Or it's a continuation of the vision with the woodworker." Zersha squints at Hebion. Zersha nods to Hebion. Kethrai says, "Sawdust is itchy." Phierre rubs his eyes. Hebion nods to Zersha. Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation. You say, "The stars howling while I focused on the certainty that the whole was operational does seem like a warning sign." Hebion says, "Many who are sensitive to the rightness of things feel wrongness as itching or tingling." Kethrai says, "Just wondering if maybe it's not a metaphor." Zersha gazes off into the distance. Karthor says, "Gloves. The missin' piece is gloves." You say, "Someone very used to doing work with their hands might describe the feeling they get of leaving them idle when they want to be working on something as itching." Zersha giggles at Karthor. Kethrai nods to Karthor. Ezathiel snickers. Anuril nods to you. Rileos nods to you. Ezathiel takes a sip of his coffee. Rileos says, "You gotta scratch it, it's a need unfilled." You say, "Or if you've ever had the sensation of really wanting to reach out and touch something, but have to hold back for some reason." Zersha nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views. Ryeka nods to you. Zersha grins at you, her dimples flashing into view. Tirost asks, "Would could be meant by the stars howling?" Kethrai says, "Can't say I ever have." Ayrell ponders. You say to Tirost, "Likely something involving anger from beings in the Plane of Probability." Ryeka smiles at Navesi, revealing the dimples in her cheeks. Tirost nods to you. Navesi smiles at Ryeka. You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. Belzor gazes at a russet lynx. Jaelia says, "As much as I'd like to think of Howling stars and Phelim and Meraud working in conjuction, I don't think I get that happy thought to be true." You say, "The next vision used Crobin as a subject, and gets into direct mention of Liraxes." Jaelia nods to you. Tirost smiles at Jaelia. You say, "Acrid smoke wafted past me, and I turned around, finding myself face to face with the woman in the wide-brimmed hat, her cataract eyes staring at me as she grinned a cruel half grin around a lit cigarillo. "This isn't my doing," she said, "Though I'm almost jealous at the scale. But it's calling itself Liraxes, eh? Curious choice. Well, we'll see where this lands." The smoke stung my eyes, and as I coughed, she vanished without a trace." Ezathiel leans forward. Ezathiel squints at you. Aislynn squints. Ryeka ponders. Tirost frowns. You say, "We still don't know who this woman is, but she certainly seems to spend a lot of time in the presence of disasters." Sofina grins at Zersha. Tirost nods to you. Zersha giggles at Sofina. Aislynn quietly asks, "We don't?" Aislynn chuckles. You say, "So having a commentary on this Liraxes seems to not be a good sign." Ezathiel sighs. Ezathiel leans back. Karthor asks, "Not her doin', as though ya would've expected it to be even without knowin' who she is?" Karthor twitches. You say to Karthor, "I think she is probably well aware we've been seeing her in visions." You say, "Whoever or whatever she is." Imroth asks, "Has anyone heard or read the name Liraxes before?" Jaelia says, "She's a very stylish and dangerous older female who has seen and experienced and lot. If she says its dangerous it is very serious. And if she's not involved and impressed or whatnot, that may be even worse." Ryeka shakes her head. Ezerak ponders. Kethrai says, "Yeah, I suspect that message was said to the Moon Mage, not to the eyes that were originally seeing the vision." Zersha gazes thoughtfully at Kethrai. Rileos shakes his head at Imroth. Navesi shakes her head at Imroth. Gwenddolyn says, "She is someone old, perhaps Penelope the Lich, she lived during the Empire." Karthor scratches his head. Tirost says, "It seems that the woman is familiar with Liraxes by some other name, and perhaps whomever she's speaking with had reason to believe she might have been involved with it in the past." Imroth says, "Sounds like smoking hat lady hasn't either." Gwenddolyn nods at Tirost, obviously agreeing with his views. Belzor pets his russet lynx. Gwenddolyn says, "Everyone is blaming each other." Imroth nods to Tirost. Jaelia says, "And none of the usual suspects want to claim credit." You say, "The mention of the scale is also something to be concerned with. Since, again, visions appear to show an association between her and disasters." Karthor says, "Wonder what makes "Liraxes" a curious choice in name." Kethrai says, "She also said 'it' is calling itself Liraxes, which seems meaningful. Like she's not talking about a person." Phierre takes a sip of his tea. Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation. Ezerak says to Gwenddolyn, "Penelope was destroyed a long time ago, so I doubt it is her." Aislynn quietly asks, "I'll put every coin I really don't have on that being Srinoja. She's a busy, busy girl, with quite a bit of... hrrr. Insight, shall we say?" You nod to Kethrai. Ezerak ponders. Tirost nods to Karthor. Ryeka asks, "There is something else I noticed. I've seen several Shards of Grazhir before- and the name Liraxes seems- I don't know- linguistically similar?" Karthor ponders. You stroke your beard in thoughtful contemplation. Ezerak says, "Someone old and often involved in disasters, though." Kethrai ponders. Ryeka says, "That may mean nothing." Phierre whispers something to Jaelia. Rileos says to Ezerak, "That's most of us, though." Ryeka shrugs. Gwenddolyn asks, "Is a Lich ever dead?" Jaelia smiles at Phierre. Ezerak grins at Rileos, his dimples flashing into view. Phierre whispers something to Illiya. Phierre waves. Tirost says to Karthor, "It's troubling that the name seems to bring up no associations for anyone, and is not referenced in any known records, save those of Moon Mages and reporters now." Gwenddolyn says, "Ever truly dead." Illiya hugs Phierre, who wraps his arms around Illiya with a warm smile. Jaelia takes a sip of her tea. Kethrai says, "Grazhir shards tend to sound like the language of whoever named them... Some of them are Gamgweth, some are S'Kra..." Hebion says to Gwenddolyn, "Yes." Anuril nods to Kethrai. Briaen says to Gwenddolyn, "Consistently, as a matter of fact." Karthor nods to Tirost. Medikaus takes a sip of his frostwynne. Briaen smiles. Ezathiel whispers something to Navesi. You say to Ryeka, "Possibly. The shards were all named by the moon mage guild. If there is any knowledge of Liraxes there, though, it's either buried in very old books that are hard to find, or being deliberately concealed." Ezathiel gazes at Navesi. Kethrai asks, "But some I think are old enough that the origin of the name is unknown?" Zersha whispers something to Ezerak. Ryeka nods to you. Illiya asks you, "Have you seen the smoking hat lady before?" Imroth says, "Well we shouldn't panic. You can't spell Liraxes without "relax." Gwenddolyn asks, "They renamed a few didnt they?" Navesi gazes thoughtfully at Ezathiel. You say to Illiya, "A number of times, at this point." Ezathiel looks at Navesi and blushes. Kystrk nods to Imroth. Ryeka nods to Gwenddolyn. Karthor says, "Makes me wonder if there's some clue hidden in the name itself." Leilanie looks at Imroth, obviously trying not to grin. Karthor scratches his head. Illiya asks you, "Is there a general theme of what she does or says?" Rileos frowns, shaking his head with an expression of exasperation before resting his face in the palm of his hand. Ezathiel nods to Navesi. Hebion ponders. Sofina says to Karthor, "I already tried that. I came up with a bunch of nonsense words." Ezathiel gazes at you. You say to Illiya, "Generally offers brief commentary on disasters. Fires, explosions, ruined cities..." Rileos says to Imroth, "I want to shoot you agaiun." Rileos looks at Imroth, obviously trying not to grin. Imroth laughs at Rileos. Aislynn nods. Zersha giggles at Ezerak. Illiya ponders. Zersha nods at Ezerak, obviously agreeing with his views. You say to Illiya, "Though the first time she was seen in a vision, she seemed to be stealing the memory of a story being told to her." Kethrai asks, "She seems interested in... forks in fate? Times when things could go one way or another?" Zersha blinks at you. Aislynn smirks. Aislynn nods to Kethrai. Illiya says, "Interesting.." Tirost says to Kethrai, "I really need to go back and check all the records of visions where she's mentioned." Karthor says to Kethrai, "Hm, interested enough to nudge it one way or the other, perhaps? I seem to recall a few visions featurin' such a theme." You say, "I suppose we've been seeing her enough, we should try to come up with some formal way of referring to her..." Aislynn clicks her claws together. Belzor pets his russet lynx. Belzor scratches his russet lynx. Kethrai asks, "Cigarillo-Smoking Woman?" Kethrai looks at you and shrugs. Tirost nods to Navesi. Ryeka grins at Kethrai, her dimples flashing into view. Zersha softly says, "Maybe if we try asking nicely, she'll give us a name." Zersha appears to be trying hard not to grin. You say to Kethrai, "That's been my usual go-to." Imroth chuckles at Kethrai. Ezerak chuckles. You say, "But, that's something to think on later! There's still multiple visions to get through." You say, "Including more mentions of Liraxes..." You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. You say, "The next vision was using Allye as a subject." Zersha grins at Allye, her dimples flashing into view. Tirost nods to Navesi. You say, "A rumble passed underfoot, and I cocked my head, straining to hear. A sound not unlike... sizzling oil? It rushed by again. I knelt, touching the ground gingerly, and felt it through my fingertips, the churn of hundreds of feet churning along. The ground erupted, and I fell, fell into a mass of appendages and digging claws, hearing the whispered word "Liraxes" echoing all around. Suddenly, the feeling faded, and I looked around in confusion." Allye shudders. Allye nods to you. Zersha gazes down at the floor. Ryeka blinks. Gwenddolyn says, "Oh that is the glaes spatula contest coming up...." Gwenddolyn chortles softly at some secret joke. Valynn looks at Allye and blanches. Allye nods at Valynn, obviously agreeing with her views. You chuckle at Gwenddolyn. Rileos says, "Don't like that one." Karthor ponders. Gwenddolyn winks. Rileos shudders. Jaelia lays her hand on Allye's arm. Valynn shudders. Jaelia nods to Allye. Medikaus grins. You say, "This... might be a brief glimpse into something of the nature of Liraxes." Illiya says, "Very creepy." Navesi asks, "Liraxes is the new judge?" Navesi flashes a quick grin. Karthor says, "So the sky broke an' fell, an' the ground also caved in? Yeesh." Zersha looks at Navesi, obviously trying not to grin, but the dimples in her cheeks give her away. Kethrai nods to you. Rileos flashes a quick grin at Navesi. Tirost nods to Illiya. Gwenddolyn grins at Navesi, her dimples flashing into view. Zersha quietly says, "Squished from above and below." Rileos says to Navesi, "It all makes sense now. You gotta cook a dish with a mana storm." Zersha gazes off into the distance. Gwenddolyn says, "If she is, people will run." Navesi chortles softly at some secret joke. You say to Karthor, "Not just caved in, thanks to the next vision, using Jaelia is a subject." Valynn gazes at Zersha. Ezerak chuckles at Rileos. You say, "The ground heaved, and a chunk of stone thrust upward, grinding loudly. Several strange symbols burned into the sheer face of rock, and reassembled themselves into the letters "L", "I", and "R". The stone suddenly collapsed into a pile of rubble, the pieces vibrating slightly. I blinked, and the vision faded." Aislynn quietly says, "Could be the broodlings. They've been in hiding since the Avatar descended." Aislynn ponders. Ryeka blinks. Karthor babbles incoherently. Gwenddolyn says, "Wow." You say, "I'm not sure what it means that the rock collapsed before the name could be finished." Gwenddolyn nods at Aislynn, obviously agreeing with her views. You ponder. Kystrk says, "So now they have cheerleaders." Jaelia says, "I almost wonder if that means should Liraxes seem defeated, it doesn't just assemble itself, it reassembles itself." Jaelia says, "Over and over and over potentially." Gwenddolyn says, "Perhaps the pieces that fell here, are assembling, it was all planned." Belzor scratches his russet lynx. Kethrai asks, "Or it's trying to assemble and assert itself, it's just not strong enough yet?" Belzor gazes at a russet lynx. Jaelia nods. Belzor pets his russet lynx. Zersha softly says, "Perhaps it means we still have time to stop...whatever it is." Karthor says to Kethrai, "That's how it sounded to me. Failed before it could finish." Tirost says, "That's two visions where Liraxes seems to be associated with something underground." Gwenddolyn says, "Cannot be defeated because it can reassemble itself." Hebion nods to Zersha. Rileos nods at Zersha, obviously agreeing with her views. Rileos says to Zersha, "I like that, goin with that." Zersha grins at Rileos, her dimples flashing into view. Gwenddolyn says, "Find a piece and hide it in your vault." Zersha nods at Rileos, obviously agreeing with his views. Illiya nods at Tirost, obviously agreeing with his views. Ezathiel takes a sip of his coffee. Zersha softly says to Rileos, "It's much nicer than we're doomed." Jaelia says, "I - even if its not powerful enough yet - it will be at some point. And it isn't just going to be beaten once to put it down is my fear." Ezerak nods at Zersha, obviously agreeing with her views. Illiya says, "It could be spelling its name and indicate what stage it is at in its assembly." Jaelia says to Zersha, "We aren't doomed. It's just a larger challenge to be prepared for and understand." Tirost gazes thoughtfully at Illiya. Karthor ponders. Zersha grins at Jaelia, her dimples flashing into view. Jaelia grins at Zersha. Jaelia nods at Zersha, obviously agreeing with her views. Rileos says to Jaelia, "That seems like a longer way of saying doomed." Kethrai says, "This also felt like the point where the visions were very pointed, aggressive, and felt like Liraxes trying to... announce itself to us." Ezathiel gazes thoughtfully at Illiya. Zersha giggles at Rileos. Gwenddolyn nods to Kethrai. Jaelia nods to Kethrai. Valynn quietly says to Illiya, "That is disconcerting." You say to Kethrai, "For the most part." Ezathiel gazes at you. You say, "We did have the brief interlude of the next vision..." Tirost nods to Kethrai. You say, "This one was seen with Kerennya as the subject." Gwenddolyn says, "Surely sending us a message as if to say we cannot stop it." You say, "I found myself surrounded by calm waters, a gentle sea breeze barely stirring the air. A trio of fish, one black as night, another blood red, the third a light blue, swirled circles around my feet. I looked down and found myself smiling at the three, seemingly unafraid. A fourth fish, pure white, swam in the distance, and the vision faded." Jaelia asks, "So we seem to agree the Fish is Grazhir?" Tirost says, "A welcome interlude." You say, "As visions go, that was actually quite pleasant." Tirost smiles at you. Ezathiel softly says, "We need more of those visions." Jaelia nods. Rileos chuckles. Imroth says, "Moon fish are nice." Jaelia smiles at Ezathiel. Aislynn chuckles. You say, "And yes, the fish would all seem to represent moons." Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation. Gwenddolyn says, "Those are the four moons." Gwenddolyn nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views. Illiya says, "The moons, and the fish in the river are similar to Anmuva's metaphor." Rileos says, "I think the answer is we all go fishin and let this all sort itself out." Jaelia asks, "Moon Fish and Moon Dragons.... wait, are the fish in the river polluting the seas also Dragons?" Rileos nods. Ryeka nods. Ayrell nods. Jaelia says, "More Moon Dragons, that is crazy and makes no sense." Tirost grins at Rileos. Navesi says to Jaelia, "The leviathans may be dragons." Zersha says to Rileos, "I'll need someone to teach me if that's the plan, I've never been." Jaelia says to Navesi, "THank you that makes more sense." Jaelia smiles at Navesi. Rileos says to Zersha, "I ain't gonna say it's 'fun', but it's certainly relaxin." You say, "I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more visions like that, though I don't know quite what to make of it." Tirost says, "Me either." You say, "The moons are obviously of high importance to moon mages, of course." Zersha teasingly asks Rileos, "Do you actually catch fish or do you just sit there with your pole in the water?" Casari asks, "Is there one where we pick up our Lirswords and Lirshields to beat Liraxes?" Gwenddolyn says, "I am hopeful that Liraxes is the new spider reassembled for hallows eve." Zersha grins at Casari, her dimples flashing into view. Ryeka grins at Casari, her dimples flashing into view. Ezerak grins at Casari, his dimples flashing into view. Rileos says to Zersha, "Depends on the day." Tirost says, "And they were mentioned by Anmuva when he apoke of the Sundreamers." Leilanie grins at Casari. Zersha grins at Rileos, her dimples flashing into view. Rileos flashes a quick grin at Casari. Navesi nods to Jaelia. Leilanie glances outside a moment. Imroth asks, "Is it weird that there is still a grazhir fish?" Kethrai whispers something to Anuril. Aislynn quietly says, "Might be implying that Grazhir isn't as destroyed as we assume. It's still there, just distant and disconnected." Karthor asks, "Hm, would that make the three moons the functional-but-incomplete system, with Grazhir bein' the missin' bit?" Gwenddolyn asks, "Perhaps grazirs original name was Liraxes?" Casari says, "I thought the whole thing was that Grazhir still exists." You say, "In some regards, Grazhir is still there." Aislynn nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views. Imroth nods. Zersha says, "I hope we don't have to put it back together..." Ezathiel glances at Karthor. Zersha gazes off into the distance. Ryeka nods. Aislynn quietly says, "Or pull it into the here-now." Aislynn ponders. You say, "It's in many pieces, but it's still quite relevant from a magical perspective." Anuril smirks at Kethrai. Ezathiel shifts his weight. Ezathiel gazes at you. Ezerak says to Zersha, "That would be a truly monumental task." Ezerak chuckles. Ezathiel takes a sip of his coffee. Zersha grins at Ezerak, her dimples flashing into view. Ezathiel wipes his mouth. You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. You say, "The next vision gets back to destruction..." Ezathiel rubs his head. Zersha says to Ezerak, "Even more so since I heard there were big chunks of in the oceans, that might make it a bit more difficult." Aislynn chuckles. Imroth frowns at you. You say, "This was another one performed by Vaerek, using Ciarelle as a subject." Ezerak nods to Zersha. You say, "He stood before a cliff, looking down into a swirling maelstrom crackling with purple lightning. Echoes violently tore at the air around him, and he stepped back in fear. Far above, a slug-like creature drifted down, extending several tentacles and reaching for him. Suddenly, a lance of blinding light skewered the horizon, piercing the floating slug, which erupted into black slime as it fell into the storm below. A deafening explosion forced him to cover his ears, and the vision faded." Zersha squints at you. Ryeka blinks. Kystrk says, "Yeah, good times." You say, "Which seems to possibly be a similar creature to a previous vision." Imroth nods. Zersha grins at Sofina, her dimples flashing into view. Karthor asks, "Oh, slug-thing made another appearance, eh?" Belzor pets his russet lynx. You say, "A horn bellowed a long warning in the distance, and I watched a line of nearby trees rustle and die. Crumbling to rot and brittle splinters, a path of decay marked the approach of a large slug-like creature with mottled flesh walking on six fat stumpy legs. Ambling from the forest, the vile creature waddled into a nearby clearing and turned a proboscis towards me, sniffing the air. The proboscis quivered and split lengthwise, peeling back along five-fold symmetry, and unfurled around a black orb. The orb rippled and shed swirling ash, and I fled as the vision faded." Belzor scratches his russet lynx. Gwenddolyn nods. A pained expression crosses Aislynn's face. Gwenddolyn says, "That one I remember." Zersha blinks. Zersha blinks. Karthor says, "Wonder if that orb started out as a box." Karthor twitches. Ryeka ponders. Imroth says, "I approve of stabbing the cosmic slug." Tirost glances at Gwenddolyn. Ezathiel ponders. Ryeka grins at Imroth, her dimples flashing into view. Zersha softly says to Imroth, "Lots of salt." Imroth nods to Zersha. You stroke your beard in thoughtful contemplation. Gwenddolyn says, "The creature near shadow clan depicted in the mural Terald found." You say, "Actually, thinking on it again, it could be related to another recent vision as well." Ryeka exclaims, "There is lots of salt at Muspar'i!" Gwenddolyn nods at Tirost, obviously agreeing with his views. Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples. Zersha grins at Ryeka, her dimples flashing into view. You say, "That lance of blinding light..." Ryeka winks at Zersha. You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. Aislynn ponders. You say, "There was a recent vision of the figures in golden plate, that might represent the Bulwark." Zersha quietly says to Ryeka, "Then we just need to lure it to the desert, that should be easy." Aislynn quietly asks, "Haven't there been several visions about a lighthouse?" You say, "Everything flickered, the fabric of reality rent, and I saw a wrecked armada locked in frigid waters, frozen in place as smoke-winged creatures tore the sky with crystal fire. A massive figure clad in golden plate stood next to the helm of a galleon and hefted a spear. The spear flared with blinding light, and the figure roared, heaving the spear into the sky. It streaked into the dark clouds, disappearing, and all was quiet." You say, "The sky exploded, a blanket of rippling, sundering light cascading in all directions downward to the horizon. The smoke-winged creatures ignited as a swarm, burning, scattered into fine ash, and the armada was buffeted by sharp winds, the sails tearing, masts snapping, decks burning. The vision faded." Ryeka rubs her eyes. Gwenddolyn says, "Those are the shaerek." Jaelia bows her head and chants catechisms. You say, "The attacks in both visions seem pretty similar." Kethrai asks Gwenddolyn, "The smoke-winged things? Don't shaerek have bird-like wings?" Aislynn casually asks, "Has anyone else noticed that those massive figures in golden armor all seem to be wielding spears?" Navesi nods to Aislynn. Gwenddolyn says, "Yes they are likely heralds." Imroth says to Aislynn, "Spears are good weapons." Kethrai says, "Good weapon to wield if you've got a company of soldiers all with armor and shields." Zersha nods at Imroth, obviously agreeing with his views. Imroth draws forth a sungold-inlaid Imperial spear with a gleaming split-blade tip. Imroth raises his Imperial spear in a quick salute. Zersha grins at Imroth, her dimples flashing into view. Imroth taps a sungold-inlaid Imperial spear with a gleaming split-blade tip that he is holding. Kystrk says, "Interesting that the mere presence of the slug creature seems to be pretty hostile to nature or life in general." Ryeka ponders. Anuril says, "In the vision of the shattered sky, the pieces broke into crystalline fire when they hit the earth. In this vision the creatures with smoke wings tore the sky with crystal fire." Anuril ponders. Gwenddolyn says, "It is a devourer." Zersha giggles at Aislynn. Gwenddolyn nods. Gwenddolyn says, "Like Lyras was." Kystrk asks, "Did the Kather speak on this?" Kethrai frowns at Gwenddolyn. You nod to Anuril. Zersha asks, "I thought Lyras was a lich?" Zersha furrows her brow. Gwenddolyn says, "She was called a devourer too." Gwenddolyn says, "She devoured souls." Ryeka ponders. You say to Kystrk, "Anmuva spoke in terms of a river being poisoned, for the most part." Imroth ponders. Ryeka nods. Tirost nods to you. Belzor scratches his russet lynx. Belzor pets his russet lynx. Belzor casually observes the area. You say, "Just a couple visions left to go..." Illiya takes a sip of her tea. Kystrk says, "It would be odd somehow that Liraxes exists as a threat in both the astral plane and the plane of abiding, and in seemingly different ways." Gwenddolyn says, "Perhaps has the ability to travel anywhere." You say, "The next one was the last to speak directly to Liraxes. This was seen with Ayrell as the subject." Ryeka nods to you. You say, "PAIN! Talons and barbs twisted along my insides and I gasped in sudden, almost absurd agony! My whole body tensed, and I turned slightly, finding myself face to face with a hooded figure. A blinding rainbowed light tore from the figure's hood, and I made out a massive maw screaming "LIRAXES ASSERTS ITSELF!" before everything went white. I blinked, and my vision returned to normal, the pain receding." Illiya winces. Tirost frowns. Leilanie frowns. Ezathiel shudders. Ayrell shudders. Zersha shivers. Ryeka winces. You say to Kystrk, "Liraxes may be assembling itself on the Astral Plane, or the Plane of Probability, but I think it may find its way here." Ezerak frowns. Belzor gazes at Ayrell. Belzor gazes at Ezerak. Belzor gazes at you. Valynn looks with concern at Ayrell. Karthor mutters something into the air about internal barbed talons. Ezerak says, "I do not like that one." Kystrk says, "The ability to self assemble and it goes with slug." Zersha nods at Ezerak, obviously agreeing with his views. Ryeka exclaims, "Me neither!" Ezathiel nods at Ezerak, obviously agreeing with his views. You say, "Aside from the obvious unpleasantness... rainbow light. Back to thevision of the sky shattering." Illiya rubs Ayrell in a friendly manner. Ayrell nods in agreement. Sofina sneezes. Sofina rubs her nose. Ayrell smiles at Illiya. Tirost asks you, "Did you take the hooded figure to be similar to the hooded figure we saw in recent visions?" You ask Tirost, "The robed figure causing people to change their minds?" Ryeka ponders. Aislynn ponders. Tirost nods to you. Tirost says to you, "The very one that came to mind for me." You say, "I got a rather different feel from this one. Especially on seeing something my mind could only interpret as a "maw"." Karthor asks, "Wasn't there one with a robed figure invitin' itself to someone's campfire, too?" Gwenddolyn says, "Meraud made us change our mind rather quickly." Tirost smiles at Ayrell. Gwenddolyn says, "Since we were at the wrong altar." Rileos runs his fingers through his hair. Kethrai says, "From the description I can't tell if that figure is heralding Liraxes or warning of it." Ayrell looks thoughtfully at Tirost. You say, "The pain might be the manner in which Liraxes asserts itself." Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation. Ezathiel furrows his brow. Sofina giggles at Zersha. Sofina nods to Zersha. Rileos says, "Couldn't have been somethin nicer, its always gotta be pain." Rileos waves dismissively. Gwenddolyn says, "We also don't know if the Gods are making Liraxes as their champion to battle whatever else is going on." Zersha nods at Rileos, obviously agreeing with his views. Navesi asks Rileos, "Hey, there was the one with the fish?" Ryeka ponders. Illiya grins at Navesi, her dimples flashing into view. Aislynn grins at Rileos. Ezathiel chuckles at Navesi. Jaelia says, "I don't feel the Immortals are communicating Liraxes is anything but not good." Kethrai nods at Jaelia, obviously agreeing with her views. Belzor pets his russet lynx. Kystrk nods. Belzor scratches his russet lynx. Rileos says to Navesi, "For the assertin, I mean to say. How come nothin ever asserts itself with a firm handshake or a wink and a smile? Always pain or death or whatnots." Kethrai says, "If the Immortals were assembling it, it wouldn't be 'assembling itself.'." Jaelia says, "But I will be reaching out to them again in the next few weeks." Aislynn nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views. Navesi nods. You say, "And then one final vision from that experiment, that's a bit different from the others, and more direct." Zersha exclaims to Rileos, "Or a nice massage!" Aislynn quietly says, "Or naming itself." Rileos nods at Zersha, obviously agreeing with her views. Jaelia says, "If anything I'd put it more on par with a false divinity." You say, "This one with Navesi as the subject." Ryeka ponders. You say, "Everything wavered, and I felt wildly disoriented. I found myself looking down an endless hallway filled with featureless doors. One of the doors opened, and an old woman emerged, closing the door behind her. She turned to me, waving a hand in irritation, and called out in a firm but reasoned tone, "Alright, enough, you've pushed your luck enough! Go, before they take note!" She opened the door to step through, and I caught a glimpse of kaleidoscopic lights, swirling galaxies, and found my mind pulled forward. The door shut, and locked, and the vision faded." Jaelia says, "Or false life." Jaelia nods to you. You say, "At that point, we decided that it would perhaps be wise to call the experiment to a close." Zersha grins at you, her dimples flashing into view. Ryeka blinks. Kystrk snickers. Valynn ponders. Ezathiel slowly empties his lungs. You say, "I'm not entirely certain who "they" are..." Leilanie ponders. Karthor says, "I was wonderin' about that too. Or them, I s'pose." Kystrk says, "Always somehow a comforting notion that the fates have a sense of humor." Karthor scratches his head. Kystrk says, "Explains a great deal." Zersha grins at Kystrk, her dimples flashing into view. Kethrai asks, "Denizens of the Plane of Probability we want to keep oblivious to us?" Ayrell nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views. You say, "But I was struck by the possibility that the woman might actually be Nera. She's been known to have set up messages for the future from back when she was alive." Jaelia beams at you! What a warm feeling! Gwenddolyn nods to you. Zersha softly asks you, "Who is Nera?" Zersha blushes, the tips of her ears turning a delicate scarlet hue. Leilanie smiles at Zersha. Gwenddolyn says, "Yes, and going to the observatory was a good idea." You say, "One of the most proficient seers ever, who lived a long time ago." Zersha smiles at you, revealing the dimples in her cheeks. Zersha softly says to you, "I see, thank you." Gwenddolyn asks, "Did she smoke?" Gwenddolyn grins at you, her dimples flashing into view. Ezerak says to you, "That's an interesting idea." Rileos chuckles. You say, "And she is the one who had the Planar Observatory constructed, and Named some of the beings from the Plane of Probability." Zersha gazes thoughtfully at you. Ryeka ponders. Gwenddolyn says, "But that makes too much sense." Ezerak nibbles his lip thoughtfully. Ryeka ponders. Gwenddolyn asks, "Perhaps she is the one warning us?" Ezathiel gazes down at his hands. Kethrai says, "The old woman from that vision has been seen before, I believe? Other visions of going through a labyrinth." Ezerak asks you, "I wonder if you might be on to something. Perhaps this Liraxes is something she named once, and that's why she seemed a little surprised at it having a new name?" Zersha nibbles her lip thoughtfully. Ezathiel gazes upward. Tirost says to you, "It struck me as representing beings with great power and knowledge, but also beings that did not want to be noticed by even greater beings." Zersha quietly asks, "If Naming something gives you power over it, then would it renaming itself break that power?" Kethrai says, "I didn't get the sense that this old woman was cigarillo-smoking woman." You say to Ezerak, "Being surprised is not something much associated with Nera, I think." Zersha gazes off into the distance. Gwenddolyn says, "It would be crazy if it was the name previous to Grazhir." Ezerak chuckles. Ezerak says to you, "Good point." Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples. Rileos looks at Zersha and shrugs. Hebion says to you, "But that could explain why they were shocked to be surprised." Zersha softly says to Rileos, "It's all as clear as mud to me." Zersha grins at Rileos, her dimples flashing into view. Leilanie nods in agreement. Gwenddolyn asks, "They shards were all renamed, what would happen if one was named Liraxes?" You say, "I assume 'they' is something from the Plane of Probability, given what we were doing. But it was definitely 'they', not 'it'." Rileos says to Zersha, "I would think there's a difference between a name and a Name if you catch my meaning, but I ain't proper educated on all this nonsense." Ryeka ponders. Karthor raises his hand in a quick salute. Zersha softly says to Rileos, "Me neither." Gwenddolyn says, "Perhaps one in the sea is the biggest piece still unfound." You say, "Well, if it was Nera, it means that she saw this coming back when she was alive, and set something up back then to trigger now, and keep us from attracting some dangerous attention." Hebion says, "Many beings change their names as they see fit. The amusement of the name choice likely has to do with what the name means and the nature of the being." Zersha gazes thoughtfully at Hebion. Rileos looks at Briaen and shrugs. Kethrai observes Aislynn with fascination. Aislynn gazes at Kethrai. Aislynn clicks her claws together. You ask, "If Liraxes was actually Named, changing that would not be a simple feat. But perhaps if the 'assembly' process changed something fundamental about its nature, that might do it?" Zersha gnaws on her lip. Hebion asks you, "Doesn't Naming things lock them into place on the plane?" Gwenddolyn asks, "How many of the named shards contain or start with any of those letters?" Leilanie rubs her head. Zersha nods at Leilanie, obviously agreeing with her views. You say to Hebion, "That's my understanding for why it makes them so angry, yes." Zersha grins at Leilanie, her dimples flashing into view. Navesi says, "I know that Naming is important for Grazhir shards, and one demon in particular." Leilanie smiles at Zersha. Gwenddolyn asks, "What demon?" Tirost gazes thoughtfully at Navesi. Hebion asks you, "Could something that weakens the planar barrier allow one plane to influence another? Which could weaken a Naming perhaps?" Ryeka asks, "Maelshyyve by any chance?" Navesi says, "Entropy's Glory, I believe. Let me check my notes." Ezathiel shifts his weight. Navesi gets a slender oak-bound volume incised with "The First Land Herald" from inside her black coat. Navesi carefully opens a slender oak-bound volume incised with "The First Land Herald". Gwenddolyn says, "The Hunger." Rileos nods to Navesi. Navesi shakes her head at Ryeka. Ryeka exclaims, "Oooh!" Ryeka nods. Briaen makes a hissing noise that doesn't really sound much like a S'Kra Mur. Zersha blinks at Briaen. Ezerak says to you, "Before I get distracted and forget, thank you for sharing those." Zersha nods at Ezerak, obviously agreeing with his views. Tirost nods to Ezerak. Gwenddolyn nods in agreement. Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks. Navesi says, "Yes, it was Entropy's Glory, otherwise called the Hunger." Imroth nods in agreement. Rileos frowns at Briaen. Zersha says to you, "I don't know how you keep it all straight in your head but it's impressive." Zersha grins at you, her dimples flashing into view. Ryeka nods. Tirost frowns. Leilanie nods in agreement. Ezathiel softly asks you, "Might I ask you a question after we are done here?" You say, "This did run a bit longer than usual, but that does cover all the visions from the experiment." Gwenddolyn says, "Yes thank you Miskton and all of the people who helped." Casari looks at you and applauds! Valynn nods emphatically at Zersha. Jaelia looks at you and applauds! You nod to Ezathiel. Ezathiel looks at you and applauds! Ayrell smiles at you. Jaelia says to you, "Thank you - It is a lot, but you did a lot." You say, "Any questions before we wrap things up? That I may or may not be able to answer." You grin. Tirost nods to Jaelia. Valynn grins at you. Rileos raises his hand. Zersha grins at you, her dimples flashing into view. You nod to Rileos. Ezathiel gazes at Rileos. Belzor pets his russet lynx. Allye perks her ears up happily as she gazes at you. Kystrk says, "Let us look to the stars for more fish and less devouring maws next time." Belzor scratches his russet lynx. Rileos says, "If we do gotta put the moon back together, I'm callin dibs on renaming it." Ayrell says to you, "Thank you for this review and discussion." Aislynn nods to Kethrai. Zersha asks you, "Do you have a copy of your book of visions or are they kept somewhere a person might find to read?" Ezerak chuckles at Rileos. Elizzibiana says to you, "Thank you for keeping us abreast of things." Tirost says to you, "I don't have the ability to convey my gratitude for all the knowledge you share - especially in dire times, Miskton. Thank you." You chuckle at Rileos. Zersha giggles at Rileos. Valynn grins at Rileos. Rileos says, "Y'all all heard it and that's binding." Elizzibiana nods politely to you. Belzor scratches his russet lynx. You say, "I keep updated copies in here, actually." Ezathiel dusts himself off. You point at some sturdy bookcases packed with reference material. Zersha beams at you! What a warm feeling! Zersha says to you, "Perfect, thank you." Ryeka raises her hand in a quick salute. You say, "Okay! With that, then, thank you all for coming, and we'll bring this meeting to a close." |
