You feel an odd pressure from above as something changes. Odd.
Fateweaver Elaun just arrived. Elaun glances outside a moment. You nod politely to Elaun. You gaze upward. Elaun asks, "Did you just feel that random pressure change?" You nod. Elaun rubs his neck. You say, "Something seems to have just changed with the pattern of the Nascent Unknown." Elaun nods. You say, "Or at least, the experience of viewing it." Elaun glances up at the sky. After a few moments he lowers his gaze. Elaun says, "Bah, clouds." observe unknown in sky You scan the skies for a few moments. You focus your enhanced sight, through some of the cloud cover, upon the Unknown. Over half of the Unknown is obscured by clouds. You struggle to make your observation through the clouds. Gradually evolving, this body appears to be traveling within our solar system. Presently it appears as arcing and bending lines, which gravitate around a black ring that is speckled with slowly shrinking blobs of hazy, dark blue. You feel a burst of uncertainty and cannot shake the impression of a deep chill. You have the strange impression that the phenomenon is somehow avoiding the orbits of nearby planets, though there has been no recorded changes to its progression across the night sky. You learned something useful from your observation. Elaun glances up at the sky. After a few moments he lowers his gaze. You say, "A black ring with blobs of blue..." You get a worn leather astronomer's journal from inside your scholar's valise. You release the clasp on your astronomer's journal and open it. You say, "Well, I already had some thoughts in that direction, and looks like I was right that the vision with the painter might be related..." Elaun nods. Elaun asks, "Does anything else look odd?" Elaun gasps in terrified panic, trembling and flailing his arms about! You say, "Haven't had a chance to thoroughly check, but the changes to the Unknown are what first jumped out at me." Elaun gets a wide tamboti-bodied clockwork telescope attached to loimic adjustment rods from inside a swirling eddy of incandescent light bound by a gold-striated coralite frame. Primal Lady Zalinyar just arrived. Elaun says, "Oh, forgot to look in my eddy first." Elaun laughs! Elaun glances up at the sky. After a few moments he lowers his gaze. You nod politely to Zalinyar. Elaun glances up at the sky. After a few moments he lowers his gaze. You nod politely to Elurora. Elurora smiles at you. Elurora gives you a slight curtsy, barely more than a quick bob. Flickering green radiance erupts from seemingly nowhere, forming a jagged rift in the air. Gwenddolyn steps out from within the light, followed by a gust of chill winds. The rift vanishes as swiftly as it appeared. Elaun says, "I dont like it." Gwenddolyn says, "Thank you Miskton." Elurora glances up at the sky. After a few moments she lowers her gaze. You say to Elaun, "It does seem to be looking more ominous." You nod politely to Gwenddolyn. Elurora smiles at Gwenddolyn. Elaun says, "Like a comet, or rather an anti-comet since it doesnt seem to be affected by anything." Ahneya just arrived. Elurora gives Ahneya a slight curtsy, barely more than a quick bob. You nod politely to Ahneya. Ahneya cuts the air with a piercing whistle! Ahneya smiles. You say, "A moment, while I get some notes on this jotted down..." Ahneya says, "I will be right back." Elaun says, "Like interplanar demons and incursions from elemental planes arent scary enough." Gwenddolyn says, "Must be only moon mages sensed it, my trader sister noticed nothing." Elurora says, "I didn't feel anything." Elaun says, "Watch this thing be like some Lunar dragon of some type who just wants to wage war on us." Zalinyar says, "Oh hey, we could tell Krenze that it's the dragon he wants." Zalinyar chuckles. Gwenddolyn laughs at Zalinyar. Gwenddolyn says, "Great idea." Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn. Elaun asks, "Whatever it is, it is massively dense, but also massively un-dense?" Gwenddolyn asks, "How did it change now?" Elaun says, "Like, we can feel its presence coming closer from." Syeh closes her eyes for a moment and grows still. Elaun says, "The heavens." Gwenddolyn glances outside a moment. Elaun says, "But it somehow isnt affected by or affecting any other heavenly bodies." You say, "It's now arcing and bending lines, moving around a black ring speckled with blobs of dark blue." Elaun nods. Kintryn just arrived. You nod politely to Kintryn. Kintryn curtsies to you. War Healer Timorias just arrived. Kintryn says to you, "Good to see you again." Timorias smiles. Timorias says, "Went to the wrong tower." Elurora waves to Timorias. Zalinyar asks, "Can only moon mages see it?" Timorias waves to Elurora. You say to Kintryn, "Likewise. And... the Nascent Unknown is definitely changing. As of just a few minutes ago." Kintryn says to you, "I look forward to hearing about it." Gwenddolyn asks, "How did it change?" You say, "Anyone can see it if you look in the right spot, and it's getting more visible. A connection to the Plane of Probability seems to let us feel a bit more about it, though." Gwenddolyn says, "It is obscured by clouds." Timorias glances outside a moment. Zalinyar nods to you. You say, "Ah, yes, the clouds might be a problem." Elurora grins at you. You say to Gwenddolyn, "It's now arcing and bending lines, moving around a black ring speckled with blobs of dark blue." Syeh glances outside a moment. Zalinyar says to you, "That's more what I meant I guess, to study it." Gwenddolyn glances up at the sky. After a few moments she lowers her gaze. Ahneya just arrived. Elurora grins at Ahneya. Timorias says, "Sounds more and more like a Rift each time it changes." Ahneya says, "You doubled in number, lets see if it can happen again." Elurora laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement. Kintryn says, "Oh wow." Kintryn smiles. You nod to Timorias. Mountain Lord Ezerak just arrived. Ezerak doffs his top hat. Lord of Elamiri Gridaksma just arrived. You nod politely to Ezerak. Kintryn waves to Ezerak. Elurora gives Gridaksma a slight curtsy, barely more than a quick bob. Timorias says, "I don't like what that bodes to be perfectly honest." Elurora gives Ezerak a slight curtsy, barely more than a quick bob. Gridaksma bows his head, acknowledging Elurora. You nod politely to Gridaksma. Gridaksma bows his head, acknowledging you. Gwenddolyn says, "I truly believe it is related to an obscure place that is holding a demon prisoner." Newswoman Navesi just arrived. Elaun says, "This is an interesting question." You nod politely to Navesi. Timorias says, "You could be right Gwen." Navesi nods politely. Ezerak hugs Navesi, who wraps her arms around Ezerak with a warm smile. Elaun asks, "Is it moving? or are we?" Kintryn glances outside a moment. Knight of Meraud Tirost just arrived. Navesi hugs Ezerak, who wraps his arms around Navesi with a warm smile. Kintryn smiles at Tirost. Kintryn hugs Tirost, who wraps his arms around Kintryn with a warm smile. Tirost smiles at Kintryn. Tirost hugs Kintryn, who wraps her arms around Tirost with a warm smile. Gwenddolyn says, "It is coming closer which makes me very uneasy." Timorias says, "I will say, I believe a lot of people are going to die because of it." You say, "It still appears to be moving, but now something seems to be forming within the pattern it shows. Or is just now close enough that we can see what was behind the light." Gridaksma chuckles at Elurora. Gwenddolyn nods at Timorias, obviously agreeing with his views. Elurora grins at Gridaksma. Karthor waves. Elaun asks, "Is this some, "we only cross its path every some odd number of years" and its just so infrequent weve lost the records?" Elurora waves to Karthor. Tirost smiles at Karthor. Tirost shakes Karthor's hand. Gwenddolyn glances up at the sky. After a few moments she lowers her gaze. Karthor smiles. Ezerak glances outside a moment. Syeh asks, "What is the pattern of it?" Elaun says, "A ring, with arcing and bending lines around it." Gwenddolyn says, "It is currently obscured by clouds so." Elaun says, "With blobs of dark blue." You say, "Shifting lines of light more or less surrounding a black ring in the center." Gwenddolyn asks, "Dark blue or purple?" You say, "Blue." Elaun says, "Dark blue." Karthor pats Tirost on the back. Ezerak asks, "Oh, did the Unknown get closer again?" You nod to Ezerak. Timorias says, "Yes and larger." Elaun nods to Ezerak. Tirost smiles at Karthor. Navesi raises an eyebrow. Navesi asks you, "Any comment you care to make on the Unknown?" You say, "I also get the distinct impression that it is actively avoiding the orbit of nearby planets." Gwenddolyn says, "Dark blue would be purple and black mixed together, which signifies a demon is present." Tirost smiles at Navesi. Navesi nods politely to Tirost. Navesi glances up at the sky. After a few moments she lowers her gaze. Tirost says to Navesi, "Thank you. It's good to see you." Navesi says, "And you." Tirost smiles. Elaun glances outside a moment. Timorias says, "Whatever it is, it ain't bring the good fairy and cupcakes." Elurora says, "Maybe it will." Elurora grins at Timorias. Gwenddolyn says, "Not like my cupcakes on the buffet." Timorias grins at Elurora. You say to Navesi, "Haven't had too long to think about it, but I would say the chances of it being anything like just the birth of a new star are close to nil, now." Gwenddolyn winks. Timorias says, "I wish." Zalinyar ponders. Tirost chuckles at Gwenddolyn. Ahneya just arrived. Zalinyar pats herself down looking for something! Zalinyar frets. Ahneya casually observes the area. Navesi nods to you. Elurora glances at Ahneya. Zalinyar gets a glass goblet of darkefire rum with silver varked flames from inside her beverage holster. Zalinyar glances at a glass goblet of darkefire rum with silver varked flames and grins. Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum. Ahneya says to Elurora, "Did not double again." Navesi asks you, "Please explain what it looks like, exactly?" You say, "As for distance... It appears to be within our solar system now. So relatively speaking... it is extremely close." Navesi gets a slender oak-bound volume incised with "The First Land Herald" from inside her canvas rucksack. Navesi gets a snowy white feather quill with an icesteel nib from inside her black coat. Navesi gently flattens her open volume. Gwenddolyn shudders. Navesi writes something on a page in her oak-bound volume. Gwenddolyn says, "That is not good at all." Tirost gazes at you. Elurora says to Ahneya, "It did not, and I don't even have to be good at math." Navesi says to you, "Or if you're good at sketching, even better." Navesi says, "Though I can try to observe it myself, when the sky is cloudless." Timorias says, "At it's current rate of growth I'd say 4-6 months will bring it to its zenith." You say to Navesi, "I think I can get something sketched for you." Elurora asks Timorias, "Is it growing or just getting closer?" Navesi nods to you. Elaun grumbles. Navesi asks you, "Also describe it in words for me please?" Timorias says, "A Bit of both if I had to guess." With a waver like a mirage, Lileath fades into view. You say, "The light is now forming arcing and bending lines, gravitating around a black ring that is speckled with slowly shrinking blobs of hazy, dark blue." Timorias says, "Not a Moonie, but I am observant." Tirost smiles at Lileath. Navesi nods to you. Navesi writes something on a page in her oak-bound volume. Lady of Elamiri Ayrell just arrived. Ezerak smiles at Ayrell, revealing the dimples in his cheeks. You nod politely to Ayrell. Tirost pets his storm-grey cat. Ezerak clasps Ayrell's hand tenderly and draws her into his arms. Ayrell curtsies gracefully. Ayrell smiles at Ezerak. Tirost bows to Ayrell. Ayrell smiles at you. Timorias says, "Thoughts a brief moment." Ayrell curtsies gracefully to Tirost. Kintryn smiles at Ayrell. Navesi asks you, "How large is it?" Ayrell smiles at Kintryn. Elaun raises his hands skyward, chanting. Elurora gives Ayrell a slight curtsy, barely more than a quick bob. Ayrell curtsies gracefully to Elurora. Zalinyar says, "It could be forming a new plane." Ayrell gives Navesi a formal hug, pressing first her right cheek, then her left, against Navesi's. Navesi hugs Ayrell, getting a smile in return. Maunderer Aislynn just arrived. Elaun glances outside a moment. Ahneya smiles at Ayrell. Gridaksma says, "It's bigger than a bread box." Aislynn gets an overstuffed frost opal icesilk recliner with clawed icesteel pivuh feet from inside a swirling eddy of incandescent light bound by a gold-striated coralite frame. Tempest Knight Saragos just arrived. A beam of clear silvery-blue light descends from the heavens. You say to Navesi, "Hard to say exactly, but given that we can now make out something more than just the movement of a point of light... Probably very large." Ayrell smiles at Ahneya. Tirost smiles at Saragos. Aislynn settles into the overstuffed recliner and reclines comfortably. Navesi nods. Saragos kisses Navesi. And he doesn't seem to want to stop. Elaun flails his arms about. Navesi asks, "How many fingers across, in the sky, do you know?" Elurora smiles at Aislynn. Navesi kisses Saragos. And she doesn't seem to want to stop. Tirost says to Saragos, "Good to see you. It's been a while." Ezerak shakes Saragos's hand. Saragos nods to Tirost. Aislynn waves to Elurora. Saragos says to Tirost, "Good to see you as welle." Saragos clears his throat. You say to Navesi, "Not sure, exactly." Navesi nods. Navesi asks, "And you originally thought it was the birth of a new star, but now do not?" Aislynn glances outside a moment. Echyaes just arrived. You say, "That was the general consensus of guild astronomers, though there has always been a bit of an odd feel to it, when focusing on it using our connection to the plane of probability." Timorias nods to Echyaes. Echyaes waves to Timorias. Whynd wavers into view, kisses Syeh and then fades out of sight. Syeh grins, revealing her dimples. Navesi nods to you. Whynd takes his rightful place beside Syeh. Labor Organizer Urbaj just arrived. Amrik just arrived. Navesi asks you, "Describe the feeling?" Navesi writes something on a page in her oak-bound volume. Shadow Reiku just arrived. Amrik exclaims, "Finally, found it!" You say, "I began to think that rather unlikely once it was clearly moving about, but now even more so." Timorias grins at Amrik. Elurora grins at Amrik. Elaun raises his hands skyward, chanting. Reiku nods politely. Navesi nods to you. Atuen just arrived. Reiku smirks at Atuen. Atuen nods to Reiku. You say to Navesi, "Just an... odd feeling in the prophetic senses. Difficult to describe." Reiku stands near Atuen. Navesi nods to you. Navesi asks, "Any theories about what it actually is, now?" You say, "The idea of it being some sort of portal appears to be gaining merit." You glance at Timorias, a male Halfling. Navesi writes something on a page in her oak-bound volume. Timorias nods to you. Tirost takes a sip of his rum. Elaun says, "Or a holding cell." Navesi asks, "Why do you think it might be a portal?" Reiku glances at a gwethdesuan. Reiku smirks. Darkewolff smiles quietly to himself. Reiku clucks her tongue and shakes her head. Timorias says, "I truly think it is." Navesi asks Elaun, "Or a holding cell?" Timorias says, "Have from the beginning in fact." Elaun nods. Aislynn ominously says, "Or a rescue party." Aislynn makes a grunting noise. Navesi raises an eyebrow. You say to Navesi, "There's now something within the lines of light. That black ring, with the blue blobs." Navesi says, "Please elaborate on your theories, anyone who has any." Navesi nods to you. Echyaes takes a seat. Timorias says, "I fully expect it to start pulsing before long." Elaun says, "Like a gate on the front of a cell door, its not really a portal, but something holding a planar tear closed." You say, "Observing it also causes me to feel a deep chill, although that would actually be consistent with something related to stars." Gwenddolyn says, "I agree with Zalinyar, perhaps a new plance of the unknown." Timorias says, "That is quite likely Elaun." Gwenddolyn says, "New plane." Aislynn nods to Navesi. Navesi raises an eyebrow in Aislynn's direction. Aislynn grins at Navesi. Gwenddolyn says, "I think it is holding plane like a prison." Gwenddolyn nods. Elaun says, "Whether its demonic, or friendly, it is something above our base level of comprehension I think." You say, "And I suppose at this point we have more or less started, really, so I should probably say welcome, and thank you all for joining us this evening." Tirost gazes thoughtfully at Gwenddolyn. You grin wryly. Timorias says, "If its a new plane intersecting with ours, its still not a good sign. Its going to open and things we won't like are going to come through. Some of us pulled in." Elaun says, "Thus the chill." Zalinyar nods. Gwenddolyn says, "It is holding a demon, the colors are possible." Navesi asks, "Why would any of these things be approaching us?" Zalinyar says, "I like dragon. It's a dragon." Syeh nods to Whynd. Syeh kisses Whynd. And she doesn't seem to want to stop. You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. Whynd smiles. You say, "And given the topic of conversation thus far, I think it's probably good to start with the vision that seems to have predicted this change." You say, "A painter sat before an easel and scrutinized his work. He painted several sharp lines in a rich saffron, bending dramatic arcs that spiraled and bent around a black circle. Angrily squinting, he jammed the brush into a rich cerulean and swirled it in a blotch of black and violently flung blobs of dark blue at the canvas. Increasingly erratic, he poured his frustration into the canvas, and as the man panted with effort and fury, the canvas began to drip with frost, glowing with a subtle radiant light. The man paused, and gasping for breath, stared at the canvas in wonder. Then the vision faded." Aislynn ponders. Navesi says to you, "Apologies for delaying the meeting. This... phenomenon simply seems quite important." You nod to Navesi. Syeh takes a long drag off of a burning black cigarillo. Syeh casually flicks some ashes off the end of her black cigarillo. Saragos says to Timorias, "Other planes intersect with ours all the time. The big questions are how large the incursions are, how persistent the opening is, and what's nearby for collateral damage. In this case, collateral damage might be minimal, if it truly is a portal or planar tear." You say, "The painting being created in a fury does not seem like it bodes well." Syeh takes a long drag off of a burning black cigarillo. Tirost nods to you. Zalinyar says, "Looks like he painted a demon, red and blue makes purple." Navesi nods to you. Darkewolff grins slowly. Navesi writes something on a page in her oak-bound volume. Gwenddolyn says, "Yes and black and purple make dark blue." Navesi says, "Could the Unknown possibly be a vessel of some sort? There was that other vision." Timorias says, "I agree. And I can't say how I know. Its more of a gut feeling. The Vision even says that SOMETHING is going to come through it f understand it." Timorias says, "As the man panted with effort and fury, the canvas began to drip with frost, glowing with a subtle radiant light." Aislynn nods at Navesi, obviously agreeing with her views. You nod to Navesi. Whynd nods at Syeh, obviously agreeing with her views. Syeh says to Whynd, "I might go shopping later." Saragos says to you, "That reminds me of Uryutis' analogy of the Aetheric lattice being the canvas for the painting that is the Plane of Abiding, with the other Elements being the paints." Elaun gestures. A fierce blue-white glare forces you to avert your eyes for a moment. When it subsides, a blueberry-blue Moongate surrounded by a multitude of phantasmal Tokka cards stands before you, rippling slightly. Gwenddolyn says, "A black circle with spirals is demonic, with purple." You say, "That's definitely a possibility. There seems to be some intelligence behind it, because it gives the impression of purposefully avoiding the orbits of the planets it has passed." Navesi nods to Saragos. Guardsman Niriniositai came through a blueberry-blue Moongate surrounded by a multitude of phantasmal Tokka cards. Navesi nods to you. A blueberry-blue Moongate surrounded by a multitude of phantasmal Tokka cards collapses in on itself. Navesi says, "Oh, does it? How fascinating." Syeh casually flicks some ashes off the end of her black cigarillo. Tirost takes a sip of his rum. Gwenddolyn says, "An intelligent plane that can steer itself." You say to Navesi, "That's another thing coming through my prophetic senses... There hasn't been enough time with it this clear to thoroughly track its movements." Timorias says, "And why would it want to avoid the planets? If it were random it wouldn't 'miss' them." Gwenddolyn says, "Wasn't there a recent vision about a man steering a boat." Timorias says, "This is deliberate. And with purpose." Whynd nods at Syeh, obviously agreeing with her views. Elaun says, "I didnt know if it was avoiding, its just somehow missed or not been affected by them." Karthor asks, "Hm, aren't the planets associated with various immortals? Sounds like someone's makin' somethin' and tryin' to keep it out o' their reach. This person probly doesn't...have permission?" Syeh smiles at Whynd, revealing the dimples in her cheeks. Karthor hums to himself. Elaun glances up at the sky. After a few moments he lowers his gaze. Zalinyar says to Gwenddolyn, "Remind me that my next husband needs to be a moonmage." Navesi chuckles at Karthor. Timorias says, "Keep em out of the basement." Gwenddolyn says, "He was intentionally ignoring the distractions and staying on course." Saragos says, "It wouldn't be a whole other plane that we're seeing, most likely, but an opening, if it is indeed a portal. All of the stars in the sky and the other planets are all within the Plane of Abiding." Timorias hums to himself. You nod to Gwenddolyn. Navesi nods to Saragos. Gwenddolyn glances up at the sky. After a few moments she lowers her gaze. Syeh takes a long drag off of a burning black cigarillo. Navesi asks, "I've never heard of a planar portal moving before. But I suppose it could be possible?" Timorias asks, "But why would a portal to another plane 'avoid' other celestial bodies?" Navesi nods to Timorias. Aislynn quietly says, "If it were being steered." Elaun says, "Like not so much avoiding as getting out of the way as much as its just not entering their orbit." Syeh blinks twice and begins coughing. Whynd shakes his head at Syeh. You say, "The planets that appeared in a previous vision appeared to be Szeldia and Merewalda. So Hav'roth and Eluned, if any Immortals are involved." Elaun says, "Because I dont think its a wholly tangible thing." Gwenddolyn says, "Yes an opening, but maybe steering away from anything that could stop it." Navesi asks, "Would you mind sharing that vision?" Timorias says, "There wouldn't be a need for that. It could be opened almost anywhere." Elaun says, "Thats why only we can FEEL it." You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. Syeh takes a long drag off of a burning black cigarillo. You say, "With a hammering blow, I felt the air torn from my chest and found myself cast high into the sky, the curve of Elanthia falling away as I flailed madly to orient myself. Yavash snickered as I fell, and I tumbled, blazing past a malevolent, black planet with bright white clouds. It reached out and grabbed me in its embrace, flinging me in a new trajectory towards a distant crystal-blue orb. I continued to spin head over foot, unable to control my tumble, and I caught the barest glimpse of a small smudge streaking across my path. The blue orb reached out and grabbed me, and I plummeted through cold clouds and lashing rain, the ocean growing larger with white-tipped waves and spinning crystalline serpents. In desperation, I shielded my face with my arms, and then the vision faded." Saragos says to Karthor, "That's a good point, and worth considering, though I'm not sure how much of the association of the various Immortals with the planets is literal truth in that they actively take special notice about what happens to them. It could just be old tales." Gwenddolyn says, "Wow." Karthor nods to Saragos. Navesi asks you, "So you think the smudge could be the Unknown?" Karthor says to Saragos, "Mostly I just wanted to reference the permission thing. Visions an' all." You nod to Navesi. Karthor chuckles. Gwenddolyn says, "I would have to agree." Gwenddolyn nods to Navesi. You say, "That's how it appeared at first, just a smudge of light." Saragos nods to Karthor. Gwenddolyn says, "Yes." Navesi nods to you. Tirost says, "In the previous vision, I wonder what's to be made of the painter's frustration and fury - though in the end, he looked on the canvas with wonder." Navesi says, "Could simply be the frustration of trying to truly represent something on a canvas. It isn't easy." Timorias says, "Frustration and fury at not being able to control what he was painting...or creating." You say, "Getting frustrated and then finally having a breakthrough, perhaps." Whynd looks at Syeh and shrugs. Syeh closes her omnibus almanac. Timorias says, "Perhaps the creator of said unknown can no longer control it." Saragos says to Tirost, "I mean, I looked at wonder at the structure in Zengmodaleth, but it still melted them out of the sockets." Syeh shoves futilely at Whynd. Saragos gives Tirost a crooked grin. Tirost nods to Saragos. Elaun says to Tirost, "I looked upon The Lich with wonder when he was like 800 spans tall too, that doesnt mean I was happy to see it." Gwenddolyn says, "Perhaps wonder at what it actually turned out to be." Elaun says, "Can be wondrous fear." Saragos says to Elaun, "Never put so much focus on the bottom of a boot in my whole life." Tirost says to Saragos, "True: wonder does not mean it's not dangerous, but it's a distinct change in emotion in this vision." Ezerak nods at Saragos, obviously agreeing with his views. Navesi nods to Saragos. Saragos nods to Tirost. Zalinyar says, "Or recognizing it for what it turned out to be." Timorias says, "In every vision I've heard, I get the distinct undertone of fear and frustration and violence." Saragos nods to Timorias. Elaun says to Saragos, "I spent the whole time up in the airship, from a safe distance, as I have no weapons training." Timorias sighs. Elaun says, "So the falling one, and the painting one, and the increased pressure." Gwenddolyn nods to Elaun. Elaun says, "I sort of am formulating a theory." Navesi asks, "And the vessel avoiding the... shoal of something?" Saragos says to Elaun, "You're probably a smarter man than I, then." Saragos grins at Elaun. Gwenddolyn says, "Who fell is the key." Elaun says, "That maybe It is not moving, maybe it is a static point and we are drifting into its path." You say to Navesi, "The impression from that one was something actively going after their vessel... but anything out there that isn't either extremely large, or putting off plenty of light, would still be extremely hard for us to notice." Gwenddolyn asks, "So we are what is moving?" Elaun says, "Like a static tear or rip." Elaun nods to Gwenddolyn. Timorias says, "That theory would discount it avoiding other celestial bodies though." Navesi nods to you. You ponder. Gwenddolyn nods at Timorias, obviously agreeing with his views. Elaun says, "It doesnt avoid them." Navesi says, "Excuse me a moment." Navesi's eyes glaze over as she loses herself in a daydream. Elaun says, "It avoids their orbit." Gwenddolyn says, "The vision that someone was steering it like a boat." Zalinyar says, "If it avoids, it's moving with purpose, which means it is being guided, or steered." Gwenddolyn says, "Leads me to believe it is a vessel." Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn. Tirost nods to Zalinyar. Elaun says, "Avoiding can also just mean not being affected by." Timorias says, "But even then its still avoiding them to a degree, which means we aren't drifting ito IT'S path but it is seeking US out." You say to Elaun, "It's possible that it isn't moving especially toward us, but there must be some movement, at least." You say, "Even if it's just forming patterns in place." Elaun nods to you. You hear someone chuckling. Syeh grins, revealing her dimples. Syeh says, "Silly man." Elaun says, "Im thinking that it is locationally stationary, but the things that cause stuff to pull into orbit is having no effect on it." Elaun says, "So avoiding the orbit." Elaun says, "Like something would do if it were made out of nothing." Gwenddolyn says, "Perhaps the person who is steering it is the creator of the vessel, which I fear could be Osven, and the prisoner is Maelshyve." Zalinyar says to Gwenddolyn, "I thought we killed her." Timorias says, "Lets tkae that theory a moment Elaun. That would mean that its possible our entire planet could be in danger of being drawn into it." Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum. Gwenddolyn says, "She was thrown into an unknown place, trapped indefinitately." Elaun says, "If its just a chimeric visage that we can see, but doesnt materially truly exist in full in our plane." Timorias says, "Depending upon its size." Elaun says, "Or passing through." Darkewolff smirks. Elaun says, "And having whatever is on the other side or within the shape deposited onto our planet." Tirost leans on Kintryn. Gwenddolyn says, "Whatever it is, it has colors that are demonic." Elaun nods to Gwenddolyn. Gwenddolyn says, "Black circles." Timorias nods to Gwenddolyn. Timorias says, "Which in itself is a bad omen." Aislynn quietly says, "Katamba is a black circle. And not all that demonic." Aislynn shrugs. Kintryn leans on Tirost. Kintryn smiles at Tirost. Gwenddolyn says, "It has several black circles." Tirost smiles at Kintryn. Karthor says, "Well at the very least, seems like the thing's got an appropriate name." You say, "This is a ring rather than a circle, and specificity can be pretty important in this sort of symbolism." Karthor scratches his head. Elaun says, "So Im thinking, we should be ready for an incursion, and it may not be anything obvious." Aislynn smirks. Aislynn nods to Elaun. Gwenddolyn glances up at the sky. After a few moments she lowers her gaze. Elaun says, "Because what would be easier at tears or ports or gates between planes." Tirost nods to Kintryn. Timorias asks, "This may seem like a stupid question and I'm sorry if it is, I don't know much about how Moonies get their visions, but when vsions happen to all moonies get the same ones or do they differ?" You say, "Though, with the mention of black circles... There is another vision that seems to directly indicate something we should be wary of." Elaun says, "War Mages can answer that one." Timorias says, "I have a reason for asking." Aislynn clicks her claws together. Gwenddolyn raises an eyebrow in your direction. Ahneya whispers something to Aislynn. Aislynn whispers something to Ahneya. Aislynn grins at Ahneya. You say to Timorias, "They sometimes differ slightly, in that some symbolism in the vision may be specific to the seer. But everyone will generally see the same general ideas." Ahneya smiles at Aislynn. Elaun says, "If it is a weak spot in planar division of some type, with a malevolent energy, I would be extremely wary of something malevolent being able to be summoned through it when it is near." Timorias asks, "Ok. So then has anyone bothered to gather all the different visions and collate them into some semblance of order?" You say to Timorias, "That's potentially relevant to a few of the visions I have to discuss later this evening." Timorias says, "That may give us a better picture of whats happening." Aislynn grins at Ahneya. Timorias says, "There may be tiny but significant differences in the seperate visions." Aislynn leans on Ahneya. Ahneya nods to Aislynn. You say to Timorias, "I have them all in chronological order, but I have not necessarily rewritten my notes to group them all together by potential topic." Timorias nods to you. Timorias says, "Would it be possible to get a copy of them? I'd like to see if I can see something...anything in what they say." You say to Timorias, "Sometimes seers will see themselves, or be addressed by name, or see a figure that shares their race or gender. Those are the only variations I can think of at the moment." Timorias nods. You say to Timorias, "Not just at the moment, although I have been getting toward compling things in a more... readable form." Timorias says, "If I can help in any way let me know." You say, "My shorthand is not going to be the most useful to other people, but I do have a lot of information that should really be made more accessible." Tirost chuckles at you! You say, "But anyway, yes, on the subject of black circles..." Elurora gazes thoughtfully at you. Gwenddolyn raises an eyebrow in your direction. You say, "My prophetic senses chaotically howled with a deafening wrongness, and I found myself standing before a massive precipice, hissing black circles to my left and right, an endlessly tall wall of scorched stone at my back. In the distance, swirls billowed orange clouds streaked with red beams of light, illuminating wormlike creatures that withered and died, falling into the depths. Every so often, the ground shook ominously. I hazarded a glimpse down into the abyss and saw a scattered collection of men and women of all races slowly climbing up, focused in grim determination to progress ever upward." You say, "Something behind me! Whirling around, I found myself face to face with the once-woman, her five eyes locked on me." You say, ""It won't be long," she said. "They are nearer now than ever." Ahneya whispers something to Aislynn. You say, "She waved her taloned third arm, and the mists parted, revealing an enormous eyeball filled with countless triple slit pupils, and she began to laugh as the vision faded." Syeh says, "Sivroch." Ezerak wrinkles his nose. You nod to Syeh. Saragos says, "Oh, how nice. Her again." Saragos mutters to himself. Aislynn makes a grunting noise. Elaun exclaims, "Yes that vision!" Gwenddolyn nods to Syeh. Elaun says, "I had tried to forget that one." Gwenddolyn says, "Egads I hope this isnt about her." Kintryn ponders. Gwenddolyn chuckles. Timorias sighs. Timorias says, "Well thats not creepy at all." Ahneya nods to Aislynn. Zalinyar nods to Timorias. Karthor says to Timorias, "Welcome to visions." Elurora chews on her lip, looking deep in concentration. Karthor chuckles. Elurora softly says, "I really hope what's coming out of that ring isn't what's in the sky." Timorias says, "I have Visions too. But its ussually after a Ieat much or have a bad Linguini." You say, "My impression from that is that those she's been passing information to are getting closer and closer to whatever the end goal is." Zalinyar says, "Its not a true visions meeting if you don't leave terrified." Aislynn begins chortling at Zalinyar. Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum. Tirost frowns thoughtfully. Reiku raises an eyebrow. Timorias says, "I noticed that those worms were in a few of your visions." Timorias asks, "Any thought on what they are?" You say, "For what it's worth, the Nascent Unknown feels strange and cold to my prophetic senses, but it doesn't give the screaming impression of wrongness like things involving Sivroch do." Elaun says, "Umm, dumb question, but I kind of have to ask." Tirost nods to you. Elaun asks, "Is there a chance that its the entrance to the void?" Timorias says, "Thats a though." Elurora says to you, "That does make me feel better." Elurora grins at you. Elaun says, "And thats why we call souls going there "the starry road." Timorias says, "Thought." Tirost says to you, "The message from the Sivroch figure in the vision is ominious." You ask Timorias, "Which other worms were you thinking of?" Timorias says, "The one you just mentioned and the one about Yavash laughing at you pulling you past the 'Smudge." Tirost slowly says, "They are nearer now then ever." You say, "Oh, no, I don't think these are the same." Saragos nods to Tirost. Timorias says, "And while the Painting one doesn't have 'worms per se it mentioned Dripping paint that could allude to worms." You say, "In the other vision, I think that might have been a glimpse of life on Merewalda." Timorias nods to you. You say, "In this vision... I think it might have been looking into the plane that the necromancers briefly had access to around the events on Basalt Isle, with connections opened via their demonic altars." Tirost nods to you. Timorias says, "Thats not any better." Tirost nods to you. Navesi shivers. You say, "But yes, the Sivroch vision is ominous. I assume the eyeball represents some demon, though I don't recall which one might match that symbolism, from the little I've been able to read on the subject." Gwenddolyn says, "Saying they are almost here and the nascent unknown being almost here is no coincidence." Aislynn quietly says to Gwenddolyn, "'The creature might be referring to its masters, or to the individuals climbing the cliff, who may themselves be either trying to ascend to its level, or straining to reach it to defeat it. Or just straining in general. Caution is called for, of course, but let's not make assumptions or false connections." Elaun says, "If it were the entrance to the Void, that would explain no matter to pull into orbit, the general chill, and I would think that souls trying to clamber out of it would happen if the opening is near, i could also see why sivroch would want access." Tirost says, "It is frightening to think that Sivroch may have conistent access to the Plane of Exile." Gwenddolyn says, "A heck of a way to recruit." Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn. Tirost asks Saragos, "Have you been back to the isle since the raid?" Timorias says, "The souls clambering up could be people of this plane still willing to fight and not give up." You say, "They could be trying to escape, though my impression was that they were heading to something rather than away from something." Timorias says, "At least thats the feeling I got." Saragos asks Tirost, "Yes, but not recently. Has something changed?" Tirost says to Saragos, "I don't know, but I would like to find out." Saragos nods to Tirost. Navesi nods to Tirost. Saragos says, "Good idea." Gwenddolyn says, "Repeat the part about the eye you are talking about please." Darkewolff shakes his head. You say, "An enormous eyeball filled with countless triple slit pupils." Darkewolff grins slowly. Gwenddolyn ponders. Syeh appears to be trying hard not to grin. Timorias says, "That is very 'snake like." Gwenddolyn says, "Yes I agree too." Syeh asks, "Is there a place with tea close by?" Gwenddolyn says, "The eyes in the raid were double slitted." Navesi runs her fingers lightly over her leather fob, and it shines brightly for a moment. Suddenly, a cup of cranberry tea appears in her hand! Navesi offers Syeh a cup of cranberry tea. Darkewolff nods to Syeh. Syeh accepts Navesi's cranberry tea. Syeh exclaims, "Oh!" Navesi nods politely to Syeh. Syeh says, "Thank you so much." Syeh nods politely to Navesi. Navesi says, "You're welcome." Tirost nods to Saragos. Syeh takes a sip of her tea. You say, "Those were the big items, but I do have several more visions to go over this evening." You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. Gwenddolyn nods to you. Timorias asks, "Is there any enemy in the past we know of with Snake like Characteristics?" Timorias says, "I'm young so the worlds History...I'm still learning it." You say, "So in the interests of time, I think I'll move onto the next one. I'm sure there will be plenty of talking to do about both the Unknown and Sivroch in the near future." Tirost says, "The eyes maybe a reference to Antrayelsis, the Defiler, one of the vulgar demons, but I'm not certain." You grin. Timorias nods to Tirost. Syeh takes a sip of her tea. You say, "I found myself at the edge of a cliff, standing before a seated man. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Tilting his head upward, he began to chant in a deeply resonant harmony. As the note stretched deeper and deeper, I began to feel my bones shaking, my skull vibrating. His song continued, lengthening and winding ever deeper, looping around me, the very air rumbling." You say, "The song intensified, a second unseen voice joining, and the stars began to dance as I found myself short of breath." You say, "A third voice joined, and the stars began to dim as my heart slowed." You say, "A fourth voice joined, and falling to my knees, I coughed up blood, unable to even gasp for breath." You say, "A fifth voice joined, and as everything went black, I heard the man remark, "Once forbidden, always defiant, now little more than lost." Then the vision faded." Zalinyar blanches. Karthor scratches his head. Navesi knits her eyebrows together in a thoughtful frown. Aislynn quietly asks, "Evil Bard chorus?" Timorias raises an eyebrow. Navesi frowns at Aislynn. Aislynn grins at Navesi. Darkewolff smiles at Aislynn. Zalinyar says, "Song of death." The tip of Aislynn's tail makes lazy circles in the air. Syeh takes a sip of her tea. Timorias says, "SOunds like my family at reunions." Zalinyar giggles at Timorias. Syeh takes a sip of her tea. Timorias grins sheepishly. Syeh says to Timorias, "Your family. How do you think I feel." You say, "The "once forbidden" could possibly refers to the various "you do not have permission" messages." Navesi says, "A harmony that seems to dim life and light with every joiner... it's like nothing I've ever heard of within the Bard guild." Syeh laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement. Timorias grins at Syeh. Navesi says, "But it does make me think of how the right vibration can break an object." Aislynn quietly says, "I suppose the lesson to learn is kill any groups performing before they get to five singers." You say, "The structure of the sentence does seem odd, though." Timorias grins at Aislynn. Kintryn smiles at Tirost. Zalinyar says, "It could be a punishment for sorcery." You say, "The "always defiant" and "little more than lost" seems like they could easily refer to whoever or whatever the seer represents in the vision, but I'm not sure then how "once forbidden" would work in the same context." Navesi nods. Timorias asks, "Could it be a warning to Necromancers perhaps?" You stroke your beard in thoughtful contemplation. Gwenddolyn says, "No it is a reference to Imperial times, when it was forbidden." Timorias says, "Once forbidden, always defiant, now little more than lost. Kinda sounds like that to me." Elaun asks, "Could it be a warning to all who wantonly practice sorcery?" Timorias says, "Thats possible." Gwenddolyn says, "So it signifies something that happened during imperial times." Aislynn quietly says, "I suspect the multiple mentions of how the stars react to the song is important." Tirost gazes fondly at Kintryn. Saragos says to you, "Thinking about it, I like the, "you do not have permission" link." Aislynn nods to Saragos. Navesi asks Saragos, "Oh?" Gwenddolyn says, "There was a great celebration during the rule of one of the emperors, called the Happy, it was a 500 year party of all bards coming to perform at throne city." Aislynn blinks at Gwenddolyn. Kintryn smiles at Gwenddolyn. Aislynn quietly says, "That's a whole lot of Happy." Zalinyar nods. Saragos says to Navesi, "He speculated that the, "once forbidden," part was a reference to them." You say, "Hmm, yes, I suppose something about the people themselves being forbidden could make sense. As in, forbidden being practitioners of whatever is in question." Timorias says, "500 year Party? No wonder they are all still drunk." Gwenddolyn says, "The emperors name was something, the Happy." Zalinyar grins at Timorias, her dimples flashing into view. Navesi says, "If one looks at the message through a Bardic lens, it makes some sense too. Bards were once forbidden, and have always been defiant." Aislynn quietly says, "Ahh." Navesi says, "Not sure about us being lost, though." Navesi folds her arms across her chest. Aislynn quietly says to Navesi, "Yes, but none of you have become Rangers, so you're definitely not lost." Aislynn grins at Navesi. Zalinyar says, "That vision didn't end happy though. It ended dead." You say, "Five voices being the point at which death happened seems likely to be of importance, as well." Tirost says to Navesi, "And so they remain to this day." Timorias says, "The Happy? If I recall he was also one of the most ineffectual emporers and didn't reign long." You say, "Pardon me just a moment..." Navesi nods to you. Gwenddolyn says, "The name of the rule was name, the Happy, not the event." Navesi says, "Five is an interesting number for a chorus." Zalinyar asks, "What are there five of, besides fingers and toes?" Gwenddolyn asks, "Per'iel, the singers on reshalia?" Timorias says, "In my case brain cells." Aislynn quietly asks, "Provinces?" Aislynn shrugs. Zalinyar grins at Timorias, her dimples flashing into view. Gwenddolyn says, "Oh yes provinces." Zalinyar nods. Zalinyar says, "So the provinces will kill us. Nice." Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum. Timorias says, "There were only 5 guilds at one time as well." Aislynn quietly says to Zalinyar, "Only when they start singing." Zalinyar grins at Aislynn, her dimples flashing into view. Aislynn pats Zalinyar on the back. Timorias says, "Officially that is." Ahneya says, "All these facts make me dizzy, I must take my leave sadly." Gwenddolyn says, "That was right before throne city was taken over by Tiero." Gwenddolyn says, "And the five provinces was the result." Navesi nods to Ahneya. Ayrell smiles at Ahneya. Aislynn quietly says, "I need to go get the fireplace going, or it will be a very cold Fireside Social." Aislynn stands up. Aislynn waves. Navesi nods to Aislynn. Elurora waves to Aislynn. Maunderer Aislynn patters west. Timorias says, "Could be the Iceside Social I suppose." Zalinyar chuckles. Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum. Tirost scratches his storm-grey cat. Timorias says, "Well my head is full now. I've thought my quota for the day." Navesi smiles at Timorias. Elurora grins at Timorias. Tirost chuckles at Timorias. Navesi gets a creamy strawberry tart topped with whipped cream from inside a golden tart-shaped tin topped with cloud ruby filling. Navesi offers Timorias a creamy strawberry tart topped with whipped cream. Timorias beams at Navesi! Timorias accepts Navesi's strawberry tart. Timorias exclaims, "Tarts! The Food of He of the Flakey Goodness!" Timorias takes a bite of his tart and a soft moan escapes his lips. Timorias takes a bite of the tart. You say, "My apologies for the delay." Darkewolff smiles at Zalinyar. Elurora smiles at you. Timorias says, "No problem." Timorias says, "I was just shoving groceries down my neck." Navesi nods at Timorias, obviously agreeing with his views. You say, "The next vision seems like it might possibly be related to a previous one, in which seers saw what appeared like a younger version of themselves." You say, "A pallid Human corpse lay on a table before me, a crystal veil covering his face. Light flickered across the surface of the veil, shimmering fractal patterns dancing and weaving, spiraling from the eyes and zig-zagging along the edges. I lifted the veil, and was unsurprised to see that the Human bore my face, serene in repose. The veil dimmed slightly, and I carefully draped it over my eyes." You ask, ""Hello?" echoed a voice that sounded much like my own. "What happened?" You say, "I removed the veil, looked down at my corpse, and then the vision faded." Darkewolff blinks at you. You say, "This seems less like potentially time travel, and more like multiple copies being made." Timorias says, "Well they just keep gettin creepier and creepier." Gwenddolyn chuckles at Timorias. Navesi nods to you. Tirost takes a sip of his rum. Timorias asks, "Are we certain they all aren't related to some degree?" You say, "That is one of the visions where I'm curious to hear what another seer who's not a Human male might have experienced, just to be sure it's specific to a seer." Navesi says, "Certainly we would not be happy if certain practitioners could... do that." Navesi frowns. Saragos says, "I don't think the world wants two of me." Navesi smirks. Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn. You say to Timorias, "That generally does not seem to be the case, although it has happened in rare circumstances where all the visions being seen seem to center on the same subject." Tirost chuckles at Saragos. Ezerak says to Saragos, "Just think how much more you would get done." Ezerak chuckles. Elaun says, "I can try again, but i couldnt get that one." Saragos grins at Navesi. Navesi says, "There were two of me once, and it was... most uncomfortable." Saragos says to Ezerak, "Nah, we'd never agree. We'd each think the other was a jerk." Tirost laughs! Tirost shakes his head at Saragos. You say, "At least two. I'm not entirely certain that the voice came from the corpse." Timorias says, "The world couldn't handle more than one of me. Hell I couldn't handle more than 1 of me. I'm a handful as it is." Ezerak chuckles at Saragos. Zalinyar grins at Timorias, her dimples flashing into view. Saragos says, "Crystal makes me think of Lunar magic. Superficially the veil reminds me of Veil of Ice, but that doesn't seem to be terribly relevant. Also, Veil of Ice shatters when you die. I can verify that." Timorias asks, "Could it refer to potential dopplegangers?" Kintryn takes a sip of her rum. Tirost nods to Saragos. You say, "Crystal does seem to speak to Trader magic, though what the purpose of the veil is I'm not sure." Darkewolff peers quizzically at you. Timorias asks, "A Enonoic ruin?" Timorias says, "Economic." Ezerak says to Timorias, "Ocular. Better watch out, Olvi are their favorite food." Timorias says, "Not me. I'm too spicy." Timorias snickers. Ayrell laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement. Navesi shudders. You say, "It's possible that the veil was a communication device. Which could mean multiple copies, coordinatin with each other." Timorias says, "Besides I have gas. BAD gas." Timorias snickers. Elaun twiddles his thumbs. Navesi edges away from Timorias. You say, "Since I heard a voice after putting it on." Timorias chuckles. Saragos asks, "Fractal patterns are often associated with Lunar magic as well, no?" Tirost says to you, "It is interesting that visionary hears a voice like his own saying, "What happened?" just before he removes the veil and the visions fades - as if another self were also present." Elaun says, "Miskton." Gwenddolyn says, "Mental telepathy, no spoke language." Elaun says, "The corpse changes." Elaun nods to you. You nod to Elaun. Kintryn takes a sip of her rum. Gwenddolyn says, "Or maybe just the gweth." Gwenddolyn says, "Some of the gweths are just awful." Gwenddolyn grins, revealing her dimples. You say to Tirost, "Yes, I think the veil was being used as a communication device, possibly between multiple copies." Timorias says, "There are so many potentialities that we could guess for days and not even be close." Zalinyar grins at Gwenddolyn, her dimples flashing into view. Timorias says, "I can think of half a dozen possibilities right off the top of my head." Elaun says, "That vision kind of adds to my might be the void theory a bit I think." Gwenddolyn glances up at the sky. After a few moments she lowers her gaze. You ask, "I would think that it probably has more functions than just communication, though, given the design of it. Some sort of vision enhancement as well?" Saragos says, "It could be more metaphorical. Meant to show you that a veil was before your eyes, clouding your vision, and that it would lead to your death." Gwenddolyn says, "Oh the unknown is visible now." Navesi glances up at the sky. After a few moments she lowers her gaze. Zalinyar says, "Dopplegangers of us in the void that we can communicate with... hmm." Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum. Saragos says, "And that you'd be surprised." Gwenddolyn says, "Gradually evolving, this body appears to be traveling within our solar system. Presently it appears as arcing and bending lines, which gravitate around a black ring that is speckled with slowly shrinking blobs of hazy, dark blue." Elaun says, "Or like just previous bodies before we got our souls stuffed in one that wasnt in 12 pieces." Elurora glances up at the sky. After a few moments she lowers her gaze. You say to Elaun, "Something along those lines does seem to make sense, though I'd wonder how the voice fits in." Zalinyar says, "Corpses sometimes talk, it's unnerving." Darkewolff ponders. Elaun ponders. Timorias says, "I poke talking corpses with sticks." Timorias says, "Its the gas." Kintryn takes a sip of her rum. You say, "And then I've got one more vision to go over this evening, which might be related to a previously seen one." Navesi nods. Urbaj says, "Traders also have the metamagic Resumption, which perfectly preserves memories after death. This is wild speculation, but itakes me wonder if those memories are being strictly stored locally, or if they could possibly be duplicated with the Negotiants or Arbiter." You say, "I can't say for sure, but it seems like it could be the bar that appeared in a vision a while back." Navesi gazes thoughtfully at Urbaj. Elaun nods to Urbaj. You say, "I found myself in a dark room at a large bar, watching as the bartender mixed a drink and said something softly to a confused-looking Human. At the far end of the room, a minstrel tuned a lute while chatting with several patrons. One of the strings snapped, and she pantomimed a dramatic death, eliciting a burst of laughter from several patrons. Popping up, she held an empty glass aloft, waving it in the direction of the bar, and began restringing the instrument while beginning a new story." You say, "The bartender slid the finished drink to the Human, proffered quiet parting words, and approached me from around the bar, carrying two glasses of wine." You say, ""I told you, didn't I?" he said, handing me the two glasses. "Bring this over to her. And this one's for you, it'll help put you in a listening mood." You say, "I looked down at the beverages, an intoxicating aroma of rich chocolate and sharp cherries tickling my senses as the room grew distant, and then the vision faded." Kintryn takes a sip of her rum. You say, "And in fact, the more I think about it... the more likely I think it is that the confused looking Human is myself, while experiencing the previous vision." You turn a page in your astronomer's journal. You say, "For reference..." Gwenddolyn says, "Must be a regular tavern troupe event." Gwenddolyn chortles softly at some secret joke. A pained expression crosses Tirost's face. You say, "I found myself seated in a dark room at a large bar. The back wall was lined with neatly arrayed bottles of various colors -- caramel toned whiskeys, dark rums, clear vodkas, milky unfiltered zuoganaas and countless others. A warmly smiling Human man stood on the other side of the bar and said, "I know just the thing." Zalinyar says, "You got poisoned and died." Gwenddolyn says, "Not the poison part." You say, "The man grabbed a tumbler and peeled an orange, twisting a strip of rind before dropping it in. Adding a pinch of sugar and dash of bitters, the man muddled the mixture and poured a generous portion of whiskey. I heard an eruption of laughter, and the man grinned and nodded to someone behind me. The man placed a large pyramid of ice into the glass, gently stirring before sliding the drink toward me." You say, "The man said "We don't always remember, but this will help you return." Zalinyar says to Gwenddolyn, "That happens too." You say, "I looked into the glass, watching the pyramid of ice slowly cracking, swirling fluids mixing and twinkling, and the room grew distant as the vision faded." Gwenddolyn says, "Oh that pyramid vision." Navesi says, "Curious." Saragos says, "Sounds like an Old Fashioned. Visions have good taste." Gwenddolyn says, "Drama in a bar." You say, "So he 'told me' that I'd be returning." Gwenddolyn ponders. Kintryn takes a sip of her rum. Navesi says, "If the Human weren't you, I'd think it was my husband. That's his drink." Navesi grins at Saragos. Gwenddolyn laughs at Navesi. Timorias asks, "Could that refer to ressurection?" Timorias says, "In some form at least." Timorias says, "The man said "We don't always remember, but this will help you return." Timorias says, "Sounds like ressurection to me." Gwenddolyn nods to Timorias. Gwenddolyn asks, "A resurrection drink?" Gwenddolyn chuckles. Timorias asks, "And if not us who?" Timorias says, "That would be handy." Tirost says to you, "It seems the bartender knows the human has something to learn from the minstrel, but vision fades before the new story begins." Timorias says, "Pour it down a corpes throat." You say, "Let's see... Oh, yes, the laughter also seems to line up between the two visions." Kintryn takes a sip of her rum. Gwenddolyn says, "So it will happen in a dark bar." Timorias says, "That makes me think the gods are laughing at our need to ressurect." Zalinyar says to Gwenddolyn, "My favorite." Tirost smiles at Kintryn. Gwenddolyn says, "Not the gods." You say, "And so we once again have multiple versions of the seer in the same vision, as well." Gwenddolyn says, "The necromancers." Timorias says, "Thats possible." Timorias says, "I'm not the most devout even though my mother is a Cleric." You say to Tirost, "The visions also keep fading before I get to actually try the drinks." Timorias says, "Don't tell her I said that. She'll lecture me for days." You say, "A shame." Navesi chuckles at you! Gwenddolyn laughs at you! Gwenddolyn says, "Old-fashions are good too." Tirost laughs! Timorias says, "Don't tell Vaddon that. He'd have a stroke." Tirost nods to you. Gwenddolyn glances outside a moment. Gwenddolyn asks, "How long until a moon is up?" You say, "About 20 minutes." Gwenddolyn nods. Gwenddolyn says, "Thanks for all the info." Gwenddolyn waves. Timorias glances outside a moment. Zalinyar nods to you. Tirost waves to Gwenddolyn. Light of the World Gwenddolyn goes south. Zalinyar says, "Yes, thank you, it's been a really interesting meeting. Now I'm afraid of dark bars." Zalinyar grins, revealing her dimples. Kintryn smiles. You chuckle. You say, "Aside from potential time related shenanigans, the bar seems like a nice place." You grin. Navesi says, "Lots to be afraid of." Tirost nods in agreement. You say, "Everything else... not so much." Kintryn grins. Kintryn takes a sip of her rum. [Moon Mage Guild, Aviary] Zalinyar says, "There is much to think on." Ezerak nods at Navesi, obviously agreeing with her views. Ezerak says, "Certainly some chilling ones this time." Navesi asks you, "How soon can you get me that sketch of the Unknown?" Timorias says, "I need to go to TC and check something out in the Library there. One fo those Visions has me thinking." You exclaim, "But yes, that covers all of the visions I had to discuss this evening, as well as the recent changes in the Nascent Unknown. Thank you all for coming!" |
