Masterfully worked in the green-hued tel'athi is an elaborate dragon's head grip, detailed from the minute filigree-tipped scales to the seven-pointed star-shaped sapphire eyes. Further decoration includes golden flames that appear to spew from the beast's maw, the gleaming fire-shaped tendrils curving back towards the blade to create the ornate handguard. Just beyond the tang is a small inscription that details the weapon's origin, along with the initials 'G. M.' stamped into the blue-black metal.
