Happy Tuesday, all! This week, Paklin is adding even more features to the VAULT verb and tweaking the existing STANDARD and FAMILY listing options. Here are the details for the new bits: VAULT STORE - This can be used to take an item from your right or left hand and put it into either your standard or family vault remotely, without needing to visit a carousel. This does consume an urchin runner to do. VAULT REMOVE - This lets you remotely take an item from your vault (standard or family) -- it can even be a container full of other items like a sheath with other weapons or a sack with crafting tools. This also consumes an urchin runner to use, and you need to use VAULT STANDARD or VAULT FAMILY to get a list of the contents with #s so you can remove the right one! More on this in a moment... VAULT TRANSFER - Because of the arrangements with local Traders' Guild authorities, runners can now start the process of transferring your vault from one location to another on your behalf. Since this consumes a runner, the normal coin fee is waived. Premium players still get nearly-instant transfer (~10 seconds); non-Premiums get a faster-than-normal transfer at 15-20 minutes (down from the 1-2 hours from doing it in person). For both, you'll be notified when the transfer completes. Any remaining rental time should be preserved, as well. Because we needed to require listing the vault contents for VAULT REMOVE, we didn't want to double-charge runners. It wouldn't feel great to use one to list your items and then again if/when you actually dispatched a runner to retrieve a particular item. What we settled on is changing how the FAMILY and STANDARD options work. Instead of each listing consuming a runner, going forward with this update, you'll use VAULT PAY CONVERT to exchange 1 runner for 24 hours of access to VAULT STANDARD/FAMILY. Once you convert the runner, you can list the contents as many times as you like for 24 hours. Premium players do not need to make this exchange for VAULT STANDARD, only if they wish to list their FAMILY vault contents. Huge thanks to Paklin for picking this up!
