Description

You see Legendary Ranger Faunamae Lupercus of the House of the Gilded Longleaf, an Elothean Ranger.
Faunamae has hawkish leaf-green eyes. Her blonde-streaked dark brown hair is long and wavy, and is worn in a careless, windblown arrangement. She has fair skin.
A trio of pine needles rests on her forehead, just above her eyes.
She appears to be in her prime.
She has a tattoo of an ice-covered heart on her shoulder.
She is in good shape.

She is wearing a silver spider earcuff with a hematite-colored sphere, an enameled-iron black fox pin with bright amber eyes, a growling black wolf pin, a sanguine sanowret crystal set within a tomiek Harawep's Spider, a colorful butterfly charm with a rainbow sapphire set into the center of its back, a swirling eddy of incandescent light bound by a gold-striated coralite frame, a mistwood Nisha shortbow, a bloodwood archer's longbow with a tarnished silver arrow plate, a front-laced spidersilk swordswoman's shirt with flowing sleeves, a side-laced black leather vest with spidersilk lining, a spidersilk scrip, a tactical skinning knife with an acid-etched blade, a ramshorn archer's ring, an onyx and cambrinth ring inset with a black widow spider, a double leather duelist's sword belt, a road-worn ebonwood map case, an itty-bitty compass ensconced in a burnished razaksel case, a black rawhide leather bullwhip with a well-worn ebony handle and braided tassle, a silver key with a spider-web design on the grip, some soft black leather pants with intricate webbing laced along the seam, a well-worn leather archer's thigh quiver with an arrow-shaped agate clasp, a sleek windsteel thigh case clasped with an obsidian arrowhead, a wide silver ankle cuff, a hammered copper ankle cuff lodged with a multitude of small cambrinth arrows and some cuffed ebony leather traveler's boots bearing twisted silver ivy clasps.

History

Alterations

a bloodwood archer's longbow with a tarnished silver arrow plate

  • Look: The battleworn longbow is tightly strung with finely spun spidersilk gut. The tarnished silver arrow plate appears to be quite notched, a silent testimony of the countless arrows fired from it. Engraved into the plate is an image of a struggling victim trapped firmly in a carefully woven spiderweb. Looking over her prey is a grinning black widow spider. Above the image are the words "Never let them see it coming!""

a well-worn leather archer's thigh quiver with an arrow-shaped agate clasp

  • Look: Worn strips of rawhide leather stitched into a braid secure the edges of this aged quiver. Years of quick-loading arrows have made the rawhide comfortably supple. Adorning the outside is a worn golden seal of the House of Gilded Longleaf with the Gerenshuge words "Ileir Ilet Taisgwelduan!" below. (Gerenshuge for "Fear The Bow!".)

a road-worn ebonwood map case

  • Look: Although the case appears to have seen better days, it is still quite functional. Faintly sketched on its face is the image of a confused-looking Elothean Ranger, seen turning her maps in all directions on a dusty path. A small faded sign is next to her with bold letters. There appears to be something written on it.
  • Read: A road-worn map case reads: "This Side Up!"

a small dark spidersilk foraging sack

  • Look: Narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, this small but roomy sack can hold a variety of medicinal plants and herbs. A hand-painted jadice flower button with loop closure keeps everything inside secure. A tender scene is painted on the front of the sack of a wounded female Prydaen holding her tail and wincing in pain while a smiling female Elothean kneels beside her and carefully tends to the wound.

a side-laced black leather vest with spidersilk lining

  • Look: Crafted of fine leather and lightly lined with spidersilk, this vest offers extra warmth when needed. The side-laced black rawhide strips of leather provide for fit and comfort. Strips of braided leather adorn the slashed front pockets.

a front-laced spidersilk swordswoman's shirt with flowing sleeves

  • Look: Designed with the female fighter in mind, this shirt is perfect for the woman who surpasses stereotypes. Delicately styled in finely spun spidersilk, the swordswoman's shirt is equally appropriate for the romantic hours of the evening. Loose, flowing sleeves allow for excellent freedom of movement, while the long, tapered cuffs are laced to assure a close fit.

some soft black leather pants with intricate webbing laced along the seam

  • Look: Soft and supple yet sturdy, these leather pants are fitted to provide excellent movement to the female wearer even during the most demanding of tasks. Delicate black lace, sewn down the leg along the seam, details an intricate spider web. Small spiders artfully stitched into the lace web appear as if they are crawling up the wearer's leg.

some cuffed ebony leather traveler's boots bearing twisted silver ivy clasps

  • Look: The finely tooled leather of these ebony boots are lined with spidersilk to add extra comfort during extended wear. Highly polished silver clasps crafted to resemble delicate ivy leaves fasten these sturdy yet supple boots. Peeking out from under the cuffs are tiny black widow spiders spinning the tiniest webs of exquisite black spidersilk. There appears to be something written on it.
  • Read: Some ebony traveler's boots reads: "Not all who wander are lost."

a silver spider earcuff with a hematite-colored sphere

  • Look: Designed to gently wrap around the ear to create a cuff, a small silver web twists out. A single onyx-embellished spider dangles freely from the web. Clutched tightly in the spider's legs is a shiny hematite sphere.

a wide silver ankle cuff

  • Look: The edges of this silver band are beautifully rolled. Images of tiny spiders are carefully incised in flawless detail, weaving webs around small insect victims. The many spiders mockingly watch their helpless prey bound to the sticky webbing with twinkling black hungry eyes. The webs appear to spell out the words, "Bound to you, bound to me, only Harawep shall set us free."

a black rawhide leather bullwhip with a well-worn ebony handle and braided tassle

  • Look: Crudely carved into the ebony wood handle of the bullwhip are the words, "Asuna Miidelku, Renyr Yrlais." (Loosely translated Gerenshuge "your Pain, My Pleasure")

Wedding Alterations

a blue gold wedding band set with an opalescent icicle crystal

  • Look: Engraved on the band is the crest of the Warrior Mage guild, an image of a wolf's head shrouded by an aura of flame over twin crossed swords. A smaller pattern of tiny frost scythes is etched along the length of the band on either side of the crest. Flowing script is engraved into the interior of the band. There appears to be something written on it.
  • Read: A blue gold wedding band reads: "Companions, friends, mates -- forever may we wander lost, as long as we are together."

a engraved silver wedding band set with a small arrow-shaped emerald

  • Look: Etched on the band is the crest of the Ranger guild, a crouching panther surrounded by a thicket of thorns over a blazing sun. A smaller pattern of ivy tendrils is etched along the length of the band on either side of the crest. Flowing script is etched into the interior of the band. There appears to be something written on it.
  • Read: A silver wedding band reads: "Companions, friends, mates -- forever may we wander lost, as long as we are together."

a cascading bouquet of twilight-black scorpion blossoms with sprigs of lacy white hemlock

  • Look: The black scorpion blossoms have been carefully sprinkled with diamond dust to make the blooms shimmer like a clear midnight sky. Tiny diamonds glisten from the lacy white hemlock like fresh dew drops. Nestled among the dew-kissed blossoms sits a small ruby scorpion. The delicate flowers are bound by an elaborate lover's knot of wide scarlet silk ribbons of varying lengths.

a cascading arm-bouquet of twilight-black scorpion blossoms with scarlet nightshade accents

  • Look: The black scorpion blossoms have been carefully sprinkled with diamond dust to make the blooms shimmer like a clear midnight sky. Tiny diamonds glisten from the scarlet nightshade like fresh dew drops. The delicate flowers are bound by a small pin with an onyx spider and ruby scorpion etched on it.

a twilight-black scorpion blossom with a delicate chain of emerald ivy leaves

  • Look: Deep emerald leaves marbled with ivory tips are intricately twined around a lush single black blossom providing a striking contrast to the shadowy-dark hue. Diamonds set on the tips of the flower petals create the illusion of a drop of water about to drip. Nestled among the dew-kissed blossoms is a tiny black onyx widow spider weaving her new home.

a twilight-black nightshade petal boutonniere

  • Look: This lush black petal has been carefully sprinkled with diamond dust to make the bloom shimmer like a clear midnight sky.

  • Wedding Invitations
    • a forest green leaf-shaped parchment wedding invitation
    • Look: Following each curve and corner of this leaf-shaped invitation is a pattern of a baby wolf excitedly barking at a yawning cat familiar who seems rather unamused. There appears to be something written on it.
    • Read: A leaf-shaped wedding invitation reads: "You and a friend have been summoned by Faunamae Lupercus and Bluewither Parady to attend their final bonding of wedding vows under the watchful eyes of Urrem'tier and Harawep in the forest of Darda Galion. The ceremony will take place on the 10th day of the 1st month of Akroeg the Ram in the year of the Golden Panther, 380." (Saturday, June 11th at 7pm CST. See NEWS 4 1 for more details!)

  • Wedding Favors & Gifts
    • a misty white satin rosette
    • Look: In the center of the satin bloom lies a tiny onyx black widow spider and a tiny ruby scorpion nestling comfortably together in harmony. There appears to be something written on it.
    • Read: A misty white satin rosette reads: "I survived Faunamae and Bluewither's wedding on the 10th day of the 1st month of Akroeg the Ram in the year of the Golden Panther, 380."

    • a hammered pewter flask
    • Look: Etched in precise detail is an image of a dizzy-looking wolf and a hiccupping cat. Each figure appears to be drunkenly staggering down a path and away from a festivity with an empty bottle in their mouths. There appears to be something written on it.
    • Read: A hammered pewter flask reads: "May your adventures be fun and flask always full! -- Bluewither and Faunamae, 380."

  • Wedding Cake & Foods
    • a triple-tiered pine tree cake dripping with icy blue frosting and filled with catnip and windhaze creme
    • Look: Tiny glistening icicles hang from each tree tier made of frosty snow-white icing. At the top of the cake is a masterfully carved wooden figurine of an Elothean ranger with a Prydaen war mage holding hands.
    • a ceramic bowl filled with ebon-black tulle bags of blue-grey foil-covered chocolate-coins with the initials "F" and "B" embossed onto the foil
    • a platter of grilled snowbeast steak seasoned with pepper and slivers of slender red peppers
    • a plate with a roasted leucro haunch glazed lightly with honey
