Fernika was born on the 38th day of the 8th month of Skullcleaver the Dwarven Axe in the year of the Iron Toad, 410 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer

Description

You see Fernika Sfozlstraut, a Rakash.
She has a round face, sparkling moss-green eyes and a pointy nose. Her ash-blonde hair is shoulder length and wavy, and is worn in a tousled mass of locks that tumbles over her shoulders. She has fair skin and a plump figure.
She is short for a Rakash.

She is wearing a hammered bronze torque capped in soulstone, a grey and pink plaid flannel shirt, some olive goatskin pants, a pair of nauda, a scuffed leather poacher's game-bag with a broken arrow clasp, a lever-drawn light crossbow, and a belted kidskin baldric tooled with sinuous maiden's tress vines.

Background

Fernika has spent much of her short life in Siksraja, where most of her family farms the surrounding land and sells produce to both local and more distant markets. The Sfozlstrauts are known for their small brookside apple orchard which produces a particularly fine silvery-red variety of the fruit.

Fernika grew up hearing family stories of a great-great-grandmother who became a Paladin after fleeing the armies of Lyras. Influenced perhaps by a steady diet of these and similar tales, and having failed to stick with any of her previous childhood ambitions, Fernika one day decided that a Paladin was what she too wanted to be. Disregarding the skepticism of her family and peers, Fernika has recently come to the Crossing and joined the guild there. Her family, meanwhile, awaits her return to Siksraja with every expectation that their youngest child will swiftly tire of the hard work and dedication required of a Paladin and come home to get married and help run the market stand one day soon.

Fun Facts

Fernika's deepest, darkest secret is that she despises apples. At least, it probably is.
