Capitain of Queen Morganae's guard and rumored lover. Earned the nickname 'The Butcher' in his youth. During the Outcast war was often sent as a bodyguard for Prince Fayne. Still feels responsible for the Prince's security.
It is alleged that the damage done to Herrick's eye/face was done by Morganae. Herrick references the scar as just a love tap.
Appearance
You see Captain Herrick Iocaste, a Mountain Elf.
He has an alert face with a pointed chin and a humorous mouth. Dark brows slant sharply above his eyes, one dark ocean blue, the other concealed beneath an embroidered eyepatch. A jagged scar runs from his jaw, under the patch, to disappear at the hairline in the white streak which mars his wavy black hair. He is pale-skinned, with a slightly weathered complexion and is below average height with a lean, agile build.
He appears middle-aged for an Elf.
He is wearing a white swordsman's shirt with flowing sleeves and long tapered cuffs, a double-wrapped black leather sword belt riveted with silver and jet studs, some dark indigo leather breeches, some tall black leather boots with turned down cuffs that come to just below the knee, an Elven recurve war bow made of polished horn, a black leather thigh quiver trimmed in blue and silver, a shoulder-slung ebony leather haversack and a suit of fine mail with a black swan embossed on the shoulder.
