tamboti zurna set with bands of dark red asini | |
---|---|
Look: | Made of polished tamboti, the reddish-brown hue of the wood has been made to appear even darker by the chips of erythraean that surround each of the eight fingerholes. Around the flared bell of the instrument, strips of thin dark red asini have been inlaid in a repeating wave pattern. The use of asini is repeated in the mouthpiece, giving this instrument the look of dried blood. |
