Description
Hunchbacked into a sickly "C" shape, the stunted creature's spine curves like the handle of a giant coffee mug. The deformed humanoid's leathery brown skin exhibits dozens of old scars from use on the playing field as merely a tool, an object at the disposal of much stronger and violent beings. Neither its bulging eyes or mangled facial features provide information about which sentient race it belonged to prior to its damnation. Vertebrae, grossly misshapen and misaligned, protrude from the figure's back, forever warped into place by cruel and unforgiving hands. Plastered with a crazed expression of morbid fear mixed with insatiable bloodlust, the togball foams at the mouth in anticipation of gaining revenge on those responsible for its current state, no matter how hopeless an endeavor that may be.
In Depth
Recall
You recall from "A History of TogBall" that the origin of the ball is rather gruesome. The first ball was actually a helpless piglet that the Gor'Togs of yore flung around from man to man, taking great pleasure in the activity. However, the concept of using an actual person was born when a group of 'Togs decided to use a particularly nasty S'Kra Mur overseer in their game by throwing him around by his tail. In modern times, convicted felons are often the main source of balls, though creatures such as goblins and faenrae reavers have been utilized as well.
Notes
Able to fully arrange with 118 rank in skinning
Weapons (Brawling) hard capped at 185
As of 19-Oct-2014, hunting with a Paladin in plate/brig/chain, with a large shield and lightly hindered, using AA, at 120 ranks in all defenses, these would create multiple bleeders after about 30 minutes. So I bumped the min ranks to start up to 130. Several clerics have reported being able to safely hunt these as early as 100 ranks. I suspect that the spell PFE is massively more effective than any other barrier spell, and is accounting for this 20-30 rank difference.
Added 25-Nov-2014, primary weapon at 167 and TM at 168. Cannot get them over 1/34.
As 20-Dec-2014: Cleric with low 130s using MPP, MAPP, Bene, Centering was able to hunt these regularly. Will update when I hit soft cap.
28-Feb-2016: Empath with 95 thrown/100 missle mastery hitting them just fine
1-Jan-2017: Cleric with MPP, MAPP, Bene, Centering started hunting these around 120 ranks in defenses, barely took any hits at all.
