itty-bitty compass ensconced in a burnished razaksel case
Look: The image of a winged pig, posed as if in mid-flight, adorns the snug-fitting lid of this tiny directional device. Concentric circles radiate outwards from the plumed porcine, each thin band brushed to give it a matte finish that contrasts beautifully with the bronze-hued metal's overall lustrous, mirror-bright sheen. Twisted and looped through a ring at the top of the device, a plaited suede fob allows the compass to be worn.

As you study the compass, you think you could probably turn, push, tap and nibble it.

You turn your compass, trying to get the needle to stop moving. It doesn't.

You point your compass until the needle lines up with north. Now you know which way north is!

You tap your compass, causing the needle to spin wildly. How will you find your way now?

In a moment of true exasperation, you try biting the compass when nothing else works. That doesn't work either, except now your teeth hurt.
