Description

The dobek moruryn is a relative to the classic scorpion that has grown to a phenomenal size. Rivaling a ram in mass, the moruryn has been known to kill and eat almost anything it could sink its pincers into. Legend suggests Urrem'tier created them to protect the caverns from any intruders and to prevent them from making it back to the outerworld.

Special Attacks

Poison stinger attack

Attack appears to be negated by pfe, although character was also a cleric with high devotion. More testing necessary to be certain.

A dobek moruryn lurches forward to stab a pointed stinger at you! Your silvery-white glow shines brightly like a holy armor. The dobek moruryn's stinger lashes at you. The stinger lands a light hit that lodges in your chest! Sparks fly as the stinger collides with your protective holy aura!

Equipment/Loot

• Occasionally drops a ruby (small, medium or large) when searched
• Also occasionally find a ruby when skinned. (This was a bug and has been fixed)

• Should be noted that with 359 evasion, wearing LC/HC mix, insig hindered, while dancing badger with 40 reflex/30 evasion, that they were still hitting me with their stingers, and with 3 on me, getting light hits.

• With 415 evasion, using composite bow, wearing a mix of LC and HC, dancing badger with 40 reflex/agility I am dodging 99% of the attacks.

3.0 evasion cap at 541-543. 3.0 tactics cap 502.
