More information about the House history and structure can be found on the House of the Waxen Moons (group) page.

The House building can be found along the Garden Crescent area near the interior south gate of Shard. The building contains space open to the public and for House-members only. Within the building are a number of refreshments.

House Areas Open to the Public

[House of the Waxen Moons, Sitting Room]
Overstuffed suede couches frame a low table set with a small tray of tea and other refreshments. Dark purple curtains line each corner of the room, though the off-white walls have no windows at all. Lit with two small oil lanterns hanging from the low ceiling, the room has a serene feeling, and holds the scent of brewed tea and tobacco.
Obvious exits: none.

[House of the Waxen Moons, Garden]
A large garden bed with lush ferns surrounding mock orange flowers occupies this side of the balcony. Water gushing in from the northwest passes beneath a trellis hung with thick silver lace vines; the stream follows a path through the garden bed that curves around to the south. Overhead the glass dome slopes sharply inward and ends completely, crafted to expose this area to the outside air. At the edge of the balcony is a low marble bench, and next to it stands a small telescope. You also see a Moon Lily.
Obvious paths: northeast, northwest.

[House of the Waxen Moons, Observatory]
Subtle scents mix together from pale-colored flowers in a narrow garden bed, which is well tended. Planted near the wall, pruned bushes of blueberries and white bleeding heart are backed by a thin trellis covered in white moonflower ivy. Save for the twilight from the glass dome overhead, the path is lit only by a few paper lanterns, making the delicate blooms stand out.
Obvious paths: southwest, northwest.
