Just for curiosity's sake, which is more aligned with how GMs view things now? I think/hope this covers both sides of the argument.

1: DR actually moves at 1/4th the speed it's being represented in (in other words, a DR day is 24 RL hours but for gameplay's sake it's 6 RL hours long), but for sanity ignore that seconds/minutes(/sometimes hours) are treated as if they're moving at a 1:1 ratio.

2: DR time is accurate the way it is (yep, 6 RL hour days!), but for sanity ignore that the oceans would probably devour everyone who wasn't thrown off into space given how fast that means Elanthia is turning.



I have no idea. If there's a discussion about that, its not one I'm personally involved in. But I'd lean towards #2 being more likely in general because the idea of of vortex swallowing everyone is amusing to me.
