Bleeder fish

The rare Rissan bleeder fish is so named because it squirts a dark red ink when attacked which gives the water around it the tint and consistency of blood. The attacker is usually fooled into thinking it caught the fish, and therefore doesn't go after it as the bleeder fish escapes.

Trivia

This a joke on the long-running term "pet bleeder," which is when a player keeps a bleeding wound unhealed for the sole purpose of training the First Aid skill.
