| Crafting of crossbows will require the use of a wooden stock and several gears and springs, with some cord (fiber or animal) for the bowstring. Templates for various sizes and shapes of crossbows will exist, and modifications to change the draw strength (reload time) and power/balance will exist. The stats on crafted crossbows will be balanced with regards to bows. Bow and Crossbow ammo will similarly be adjusted to allow for traditionally capped arrows, and variations with trading one stat for another.
I realize that people making bows and crossbows will also want to make the ammo, but I'm not sure if we'll keep fletching in the same disciplines or not. | |
