>>Just a quick note for anyone who normally uses sweep in their combo, it really seems like it hinders more than helps right now. I first tried using the old draw/sweep/slice/chop combo I have used forever on my HE, and sweep was continually either missing or killing my balance. The others seem to work as usual.

Combos no longer exist, and using old combos is likely to cause you problems. Each type of attack has its own pros and cons. JAB/FEINT are good balance builders. SLICE/SWING/THRUST are moderate damage dealers. CHOP/LUNGE/BASH are fatiguing and unbalancing damage dealers.

This is all explained when you type SLICE HELP FULL (or whatever attack you want info on).

If your parry defense score is higher than your evasion defense score, you'll be most likely to show yourself parrying. This is different than in 2.0 where defenses often did completely random and counter-intuitive effects, resulting in them swapping positions from time to time.

>>I barely noticed a difference in killing times per critter.

What are you hunting, with what weapons and what skill?
