| If we left TDPs alone as it stands, no new character would ever be able to catch up to older characters in terms of TDPs because at the same ranks in the same skills (post-combine), an older character would be thousands and thousands of TDPs ahead at the high end. Assuming there was a use for all the TDPs you got from training every skill from 1 to max, it means there's no way for the fresher character to ever equal the older one.
This is pretty much unacceptable, so we have to do 'something'. | |
