To be clear -

This only penalizes diversity in a historical sense - It means that people that have diversified rather than honed in on one skill might, for a while, earn TDPs at a slower rate than others.

It does not penalize you for being diverse in the future, and it also doesn't encourage you to be diverse in the future. TDPs are not the carrot we should be holding in front of you to encourage you to train skills. That's lazy on our side and boring on yours.

But again, literally nobody will lose effectiveness from this change. You might gain TDPs at a slower rate in the future (which is probably offset by the overflow experience pools that you undoubtedly have full due to your broad training), but you can re-set your stats to exactly what they were the minute you logged out.

Also, I think you guys' math is wrong somehow - I'm only seeing a very tiny number of people that are losing thousands of TDPs. Maybe they're all forum dwellers but I can't imagine that's actually correct.
