The things I'd emphasize there are:

1) In the system that has been outlined, no one loses TDPs. An error in your benefit is given to you freely, an error that is not to your benefit is paid off with slower growth in the short-term rather than a loss of TDPs.

2) As long as you train skills as an end to themselves (essentially, for new functionality), nothing that's being discussed hinders your primary objective.

It is a big change -- and we all know what change is. I also think the change, while positive, challenges some fundamental illusions we usually hold about skill diversity ("I'm a singing Barbarian, I'm special! Like everybody!"). I don't hold it against you or anyone for being a little freaked out by The Changes, and I hope we can continue to work through the design logic that brought us here.
