| Description: | The Ice Patch spell will create a treacherous sheet of ice beneath its victim, causing it to lose its balance and possibly fall and sustain injury. Those with multiple legs are considerably harder to affect, and those who are immune to the cold will be too well suited to navigating frozen ground to fall. | |
| Effect: | Unknown | |
| Example Messaging: | A sheet of slippery ice forms beneath a fendryad! A fendryad slides several feet across the ice before falling and snapping its neck! | |
| Devices/Tattoos: | No devices or tattoos documented. | |
Notes
- This can be cast on a dead body to make it easier to drag. It does not reduce round time of the drag below 3 seconds and you will be able to drag someone that otherwise would have tired you out.
- Flying creatures are immune to ice patch, as well as snakes and other belly-crawlers.
- Multiple-legged creatures are harder to affect than bipeds.
- Compatible with the Pattern Hues cantrip.
- A Shield can prevent damage or stun even if spell causes target to fall.
