File:EDasSesi.jpg Original photo by: P.Quaisse

Sesi was the second child born to a young Rakash couple shortly before their deaths to the consumption outbreak (not that) many years ago. Taken in by the human couple Nathan and Meghan Hart, Sesi was given the name Abigail and raised as their own. To this day she struggles with accepting both the identify of her birth parents and the fact that she is Rakash.

Appearance

(Current)
You see Sesi Hart-Gotsby, Soul Binder of Therengia, a Rakash Cleric.
She has a triangular face, slightly pointed ears, thick-lashed gold eyes and a pointy nose. Her red-gold hair is very long and wavy, and is worn in a charming arrangement of seemingly careless curls wound with a vivid red satin ribbon. She has freckled skin and a shapely figure.
She is short for a Rakash.
She is an Underdog.

(Moonskin)
She has a wolfish face with slightly pointed ears, bright gold eyes and an elegant muzzle. She has a tri-color coat, a curving tail and a shapely figure.

(Wedding Day)
She is holding a dainty bouquet of pale pink rosebuds and white daisies tied with a slender ribbon in her right hand.
She is wearing a high choker of channel-set pink diamond hearts, an empire-waisted wedding gown of fluid white raw silk, a narrow gold engagement ring set with a fire opal heart and a pair of delicate slippers crafted from flawless crystal.

Personality

(Thanks to everyone who gave me their input on this!)
How others describe her: flighty, bouncy, intense, self-absorbed, determined, chatterbox, selfish, pouty, immature, cupcake addict, an unstoppable force of nature, possibly schizophrenic, bubbly, fiery, stubborn, independent, imaginative, confusing, innocent and proud.

Shinies

(This teapot was presented to Ambassador Erieck Gotsby after the premiere of the play written in his honor. Designed by Sesi Hart and her brother-in-law Gathrin Delemor, this teapot represents a moment in Erieck's life forever immortalized on stage by Court Playwright Chabelle D'Jhue.)
Sesi shows you a darkened cast iron teapot shaped like a knight in full armor. The teapot is a perfect accessory in which to brew teas and coffees, or just to boil up some water. Remarkably, the knight strikes the pose of an ancient child's rhyme, his arm hooked to form a handle, while the other arches to mimic the spout. A darkened cast iron teapot reads: "To Sir Erieck Gotsby, The Legendary Teapot"

(This harness was given to Sesi upon the completion of her Resurrection quest by her Pookie, Erieck Gotsby.)
Sesi shows you a battle-worn weapon harness studded with darkened steel emblems of the gods. The layered leather weapon harness is double stitched with steel threads and studded with the emblems of the gods. The side of the harness is embossed with a roaring lion leaping over the "Bridge of Life". There appears to be something written on it. A battle-worn weapon harness reads: "Joined in brotherhood, the defender and the voice of the gods."

(This scepter was given to Sesi upon the completion of her first resurrection by High Priest Rambliin Yi'vuush'heke.)
Sesi shows you a holy scepter tipped with a saffron topaz sun. The deep orange topaz, with its fiery crimson and gold shimmer, has been carved into a faceted miniature sun and affixed to the pronged rod. Twin strands of silver are wrapped along the ivory scepter's length, a delicate inscription in their midst. There appears to be something written on it. A holy scepter reads: "Praise Berengaria; renewer of light, sower of life, banisher of night."

(Designed by the charming Larilliana Lychis with help from Sesi Hart.)
Sesi shows you a back-laced black leather corset embellished with polished steel buckles. The high back is laced tightly with twisted thongs, and the wide shoulder straps are anchored to the garment with small heart-shaped clasps. A line of gleaming steel buckles extends from the scooped neckline to the curved bottom hem, snugly fastening the front of the bodice.

Homes

(Sesi's main home in Therenborough.)
[Therenborough, Chanters' Retreat]
Three shiny metal globes sit evenly spaced at the border of a yard of multi-colored grass. Pastel ribbons criss-cross with seeming abandon over the more naturally occuring shades of green, each cut at a different height to add texture to the landscape. Here and there in the chaotic mix is a cream-shaded ceramic pot displaying an odd arrangement of dried twigs, on which one finds an assortment of shells, beads, and arrow flights. You also see a cozy oak-shingled cottage with a small sana'ati tree growing in front of it, a cedar-trimmed grey block house with a vegetable garden with dozens of small green sprouts out front, a cozy oak-trimmed home and an oak-shingled stone block dwelling.

[Cottage Interior]
A handwoven green and gold rug adorns the polished oak floor of this small room. A stucco fireplace with an ornate cast-iron insert, with a well-polished gold plaque etched with "VOTED BEST OVERALL HOME IN THERENGIA" in large block lettering hanging above it, rests between a massive oak canopy bed and an ironwork and frosted glass table pushed up against the garden mosaic walls. The room holds a lingering scent of geshiloira. You also see a short-haired Katamba-black cat, a copper and patina weapon rack with a couple of things on it, a dark-stained oak wardrobe, an ironwork wicker-laced chair that is facing the table and an ironwork wicker-laced chair that is facing the table.

You look at a short-haired Katamba-black cat. With a sleek body and covered with a layer of fuzzy short Katamba-black fur, the cat has an elegant feline head and slitted eyes that hold a permanently frightened expression. The slender tail has a slight kink in it near the tip, and marbling covers the fur in places, giving the slender body a sleek look. He has a bright red collar around his neck with a golden heart-shaped tag that reads "Boo".

You warm yourself in front of a stucco fireplace with an ornate cast-iron insert. The marble surround, colored the deep gold of newly gathered wheat, adds a dramatic splash of color to the simple white-washed plaster. Molded into the face is an elaborately detailed cornucopia spilling over the fruits, vegetables and grains of the autumn harvest. Ribbons of ivy are cast along the border of the opening of the firebox insert and a rearing unicorn graces the front for the attached grate.

You examine the massive oak canopy bed. Each corner post is decorated with scenes of birds and tropical flowers while fine muslin drapes to the floor in graceful folds. Thick snow-white fur coverings and silk sheets complete its fine ensemble. On the canopy bed you see a soft grey velvet stuffed baby gargoyle and a fuzzy chestnut bear resting on top of a mound of brightly colored silk pillows.

Your attention is drawn to the garden mosaic walls and the frosted glass table pushed up against it. A lush green garden springs to life from a collection of tiny, carefully placed colored tiles that span the wall.

Glancing down you inspect the frosted glass table and the plump copper-trimmed fishbowl resting on top of it. Caught by the water's currents, dense stands of broad-leafed banana plants part to reveal a golden-finned scarlet lionfish hidden within the plants of the fishbowl. A small folded parchment card leans against the front of the fishbowl with the name "Chadwicke" carefully printed across the front.

Finally, you take note of the copper and patina weapon rack standing off to the side, next to the dark-stained oak wardrobe. Copper has been molded into two small apple trees forming this graceful weapon rack. Thick branches extend from one tree to the other in a crisscross pattern ideal to hold weapons of all shapes and sizes. Upon closer inspection, butterflies of various colors can be seen on the little white and yellow flowers of the trees. On the weapon rack you see a double-bladed steel glaive with braided daisies etched on the blade and an oak-hafted war hammer banded with bronze and bloodgem inlay.

(The sitting room or "Tea Parlor" of the apartment where Sesi stays while in Rivercrossing.)
[Merchant Apartments, Third Floor]
This spartan corridor has been rendered more lively by a flat-woven, floor-length kelim in deep magenta, black and gold, its fringes laced with tiny, round, brass bells. Pearlescent glowstones shine softly next to each room. A staircase leads down to the second floor. You also see an elegant pearwood door with a wide old-fashioned keyhole.

[Apartment Interior]
Gold-on-ivory floral papered walls and a polished maple floor covered by a gold-shot forest green carpet enclose this room. In one corner lies an elegant ivory velvet settee, and near the settee sits a graceful oval lacewood tea table on which rests a gold-swirled crystal vase. A square cast iron stove burns along the far wall with a polished copper teapot inlaid with twining golden vines hanging above it. The room holds a lingering scent of roses. You also see a long-haired pure white cat, an ironwork velvet-covered chair that is facing the settee and a maple-framed pierced tin pie-safe with a flour-dusted leather bound baker's book engraved in silver leaf on it.

You look at a long-haired pure white cat. Looking more like a fluffy pure white ball than a real animal, the cat has a slim feline head and large slitted eyes that reflect light. With a bottle-brush tail and a solid-colored body, the cat holds a rather regal bearing, as if knowing who is really in charge of the household. She has a bright blue collar around her neck with a silver heart-shaped tag that reads "Magnolia".

You examine the square cast iron stove and the polished copper teapot inlaid with twining golden vines resting on top of it. The teapot is a perfect accessory in which to brew teas and coffees, or just boil up some water. Delicately inlaid vines of pure gold entwine about the base, climbing to embrace its thin handle and making the little pot into a rather decorative conversation piece as well.

You take a seat on the ivory velvet settee, moving aside the red and white Gidii's Walk quilt that rests on top of the cushions. With a high back and plush arms, this settee invites all to have a seat and rest against its soft fabric. Golden piping trims the arm in a spiral design that flows across the base in a straight line.

You glance at the graceful oval lacewood tea table that stands beside the setee. A raised rail supported by turned brass spindles surrounds the table top to prevent a fragile porcelain tea service from falling if the table is bumped by an awkward guest, while a low shelf below can hold an assortment of cakes and other delicacies. Positioned in the center of the table is a gold-swirled crystal vase containing a profusion of Smaragdaus' Glee roses interspersed with tiny white rosebuds.

Looking over at the maple-framed pierced tin pie-safe you notice an array of assorted tarts and cupcakes inside and a flour-dusted leather bound baker's book engraved in silver leaf on top. Made from a light brown pebbled leather, the book looks well-thumbed, the pages curled slightly and stained in many colors. Floury fingerprints have settled into the grooves of the leather cover on both front and back, and caked flour flakes from the bindings with every slight movement. The partially covered silver leaf calligraphy spells out: "Quick 30-roisaen Meals."
