Memorial for Kaelie at Tamsine's Shrine

Lycette says, "Welcome, all. Thank you for coming. We are here to celebrate the life of a very special woman, who was loved by so many."

Lycette says, "If you don't mind, please refrain from gazing at your sanowret crystals and drop any songs or spells."

Lycette says, "I met Kaelie at the Empath's Guild in 409. I was discreetly trying to find someone to give me dimples. Kaelie led me to her home on Riverpine Way, and when she was done, I was so young and poor I only had a few silver to offer her. She accepted it graciously and helped me find my way back to the Empath's Guild, my new dimples on display as we went because I could not stop smiling. Right up until the last time I saw her, she always greeted me with a kiss on the cheek, right on top of those dimples."

Lycette says, "I was so in awe of Kaelie's quiet confidence and standing within her guild, she seemed larger than life to me then. I never thought we would become the close friends that we were later in life, because she seemed so superior to me. She never behaved that way, however. She was always kind, supportive, and welcoming. I always knew that if I needed a friend, Kaelie would be there for me. She was my rock for a long time, but I never realized it until I was faced with losing her."

Lycette says, "Kaelie and I first became close when I joined a group called the Vela'tohr a little while after we met. Later, when the Vela'tohr dissolved and Levinas reactivated the Order of the Black Fox, Kaelie joined as council and I became Treasurer, a position I still hold today thanks to Kaelie always welcoming me back with open arms after my extended trips abroad."

Lycette says, "Throughout the years, Kaelie gave her blood, sweat, and tears for the OBF. I've asked Pyppa to speak further on that."

Lycette smiles at Pyppa, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Pyppa smiles at Lycette.

Pyppa says, "Thank you Lycette and Greetings all."

Pyppa smiles. Pyppa gives a gracious nod.

Pyppa says, "Hello everyone, thank you for the honor of attending our gathering and thank you for coming together with a great purpose. It is bittersweet to be here before you all today. Sweet in that we have the opportunity to come together and celebrate our beloved and honored Leader Kaelie but bitter and unfortunate that we need to come together at all."

Pyppa says, "On that note, there is something I need to do before I continue. Some of you might raise an eyebrow at me but it would make Kaelie smile and nod with satisfaction."

Pyppa gets a thin Purple Lion cigarillo from inside her backpack.

Pyppa gets a vardite World Dragon set with crystalline dragon tear eyes from inside her backpack.

Pyppa points her World Dragon at a Purple Lion cigarillo and a flame shoots from the creature's mouth, making the cigarillo quickly catch fire.

Pyppa takes a long drag off of a burning Purple Lion cigarillo.

Pyppa exhales some tobacco smoke. The faint lavender clouds of smoke carry the pleasant smell of cloves into the air.

Pyppa says, "I never understood the allure of smoking, but for Kaelie, I would do anything."

Pyppa says, "My name is Pyppa Eldarion, current Speaker of the Order of the Black Fox. Kaelie was a winner. She won at everything. I never wanted to be Speaker. Kaelie asked me to take on the role many times and I swore it off over and over, well, she won again."

Pyppa says, "Look at me now, smoking and Speaker. Only for Kaelie. She is still winning."

Pyppa says, "I am starting this way because it speaks to Kaelie's, character, influence, leadership and knowledge that she without fail was dedicated to the Order of the Black Fox."

Pyppa says, "When Levinas brought life back to the Order of the Black Fox 8 years ago he immediately asked Kaelie to be a council member. She served as council until she became Speaker a year later, she then remained the backbone of the order as Speaker for 7 years."

Pyppa says, "Then during the strongest yet weakest phase of her life, her love and dedication for the order shone through once again. One year later, she took over the Speaker Role again holding the reigns and guiding us through adjustments and changes. Up until Kaelie's last days as a Speaker she was talking about the future of the order and its members. When faced with difficulty so many run away but instead Kaelie ran closer to us."

Pyppa says, "Kaelie served with all her heart, strength, and soul both as a council member and during her Speaker years. How do you thank and remember someone and teach others in the generations to come of someone so beloved, honored, and adored for so many selfless years of service? We tell the stories, share the tales and her legend will live in our souls, and with the young and new to come."

Pyppa says, "We are also proud to announce that with Valkhan's assistance, we will have a portrait of Kaelie hung in the future Order of The Back Fox order house."

Pyppa exclaims, "Through Kaelie's leadership, wisdom, kindness, strength and determination, this order thrived for years and we, as the Order of the Black Fox, have made an oath to her memory and to the community in need, it will continue to be strong!"

Pyppa exclaims, "A famous Kaelie Quote, Once a FOX always a FOX!"

Pyppa exclaims, "If you agree SHOUT, HERE HERE! HERE HERE!"

Aluwyyn calmly exclaims, "Here, Here!"

Shannera yells, "Here here!"

Chyral says, "Here here."

Leayne softly says, "Hear, hear."

Lycette says, "Thank you, Pyppa. Next, I've asked Dantia to give a eulogy."

Dantia recites:

"I remember when I met you.
We were friends right from the start."

Dantia recites:

"I remember when we braved a Ghost Ship together.
You wondered if parrot was a delicacy somewhere."

Dantia recites:

"I remember when an entire gala was poisoned.
You were busy tanking champers and eating cream puffs."

Dantia recites:

"I remember when that Empath came back after a long nap.
And he mansplained how healing worked to you."

Dantia recites:

"I remember how you would kiss me on the cheek.
But sometimes I'd turn the wrong way and we'd end up smooching instead."

Dantia recites:

"I remember when you accidently got stuck in triage.
You were mad for literally weeks."

Dantia recites:

"I remember when you learned the last you could about Empathy.
You told Mazrian he was on his own."

Dantia recites:

"I remember when you got the killing blow on a foe we were fighting.
We were all so dang proud of you."

Dantia recites:

"I remember that time you lost your picnic cloth.
No, not that time, the next time.
    No, the time after that.
Eventually you stitched your name on it."

Dantia recites:

   "I remember how you smiled.
    I remember how you laughed.
    I remember how you loved."

Dantia lovingly says, "I remember you, Kaelie. And I always will."

Dantia says, "Thank you very much for the floor."

Lycette says, "Thank you, Dantia. That was beautiful. I've asked Jaelia to recite a prayer next."

Jaelia says, "I am trying to stop laughing, thank you, for a short prayer."

Jaelia intones:

"Hodierna, goddess of life, we praise you
Hand in hand with Urrem'tier, we praise you
     Asketi, Eylhaar, be kind
Let those lives not yet taken, shine
Berengaria, recreate what was destroyed of thine."

Jaelia looks up and sighs, smiling.

Jaelia intones:

"Eluned, give us of thy wisdom
Truffenyi, give us of thy mercy
O Berengaria, give us of thy fullness
And of thy guidance, Murrula, in face of every trial."

Jaelia intones:

"O Meraud, give us of thy vision
Phelim, give us of thy truth
Everild, give us of thy shielding
And of thy peace, Albreda, in face of woe."

Jaelia nods.

Lycette says, "Thank you so much, Jaelia. Next, Ruea will perform a song for us."

Lycette smiles at Ruea, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Ruea says, "What a terribly wonderful thing to be loved by so many and mourned so deeply. I'm very honored to perform a song for Kaelie tonight, a favorite of hers. I hope I do it justice."

Ruea smiles slightly.

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "I will fight
    I will fight for you
I always do, until my heart
    Is black and blue"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "And I will stay
    I will stay with you
We'll make it to the other side
    Like lovers do"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

"I'll reach my hands out in the dark
And wait for yours to interlock
    I'll wait for you
    I'll wait for you"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "'Cause I'm not givin' up
I'm not givin' up, givin' up
    No not yet"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

"Even when I'm down to my last breath
Even when they say there's nothin' left
    So don't give up on..."

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "I'm not givin' up
I'm not givin' up, givin' up
    No not me"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "Even when nobody else believes
I'm not goin' down that easily
So don't give up on me"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "And I will hold
    I'll hold onto you
No matter what this world'll throw
    It won't shake me loose"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

"I'll reach my hands out in the dark
And wait for yours to interlock
    I'll wait for you
    I'll wait for you"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "'Cause I'm not givin' up
I'm not givin' up, givin' up
    No not yet"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

"Even when I'm down to my last breath
Even when they say there's nothin' left
    So don't give up on..."

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "I'm not givin' up
I'm not givin' up, givin' up
    No not me"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "Even when nobody else believes
I'm not goin' down that easily
So don't give up on me"

Ruea sings in a soprano voice:

   "Whoa, whoa
    Whoa, whoa
    Yeah yeah yeah yeah
    Yeah yeah yeah"

Ruea quietly sings in a soprano voice:

   "I will fight
    I will fight for you
I always do until my heart
    Is black and blue."

Lycette says, "That was wonderful, Ruea. Thank you."

Ruea says, "Thank you."

Lycette says, "Next, I've asked some of Kaelie's close friends to speak. First up is Zehira."

Zehira says, "Pardon but I will have to talk from invisible or I will get smote here soon."

Zehira bursts out in a sudden snort of laughter.

You hear a voice say, "Alright."

Grenhart searches around for a moment.

Grenhart points at Zehira, ruining her hiding place.

Grenhart cackles!

Zehira says, "I don't have a lot of friends, well as we see for obvious reasons. Kaelie would say it's because you're such a prickly..pear."

You hear a voice say, "She would say oh just let people get close to you. Let them know you and I'd just raise my eyebrow and shake my head and she'd say yea I know."

You hear a voice say, "I met her not soon after I had joined the guild. She asked me to her house to look at an item. Maz was there and I told them what it was and that they might not want to have it."

You hear a voice say, "So of course she gave it to me. She always would give me little trinkets and litte presents and I loved them all. When I would leave her I'd hide and smooch her and she'd smile that smile."

A prone Zehira is suddenly swatted from concealment!

Zehira shudders once and lies still.

* Zehira is slain before your eyes!

You hear the ghostly voice of Zehira say, "Well."

You hear the ghostly voice of Zehira exclaim, "I was about done anyways!"

Lycette says, "Thank you, Zehira. Next up is Leayne."

Leayne holds hands with Crobin).

Crobin smiles at Leayne.

Crobin nods to Leayne.

Leayne licks her lips.

Sothios just went through a low gate, dragging Zehira's body with him.

[General][Zehira] "worth it"

Leayne gets a sheet of flame-hued paper from inside her rose colored haversack.

Leayne gazes at her paper.

Leayne softly says, "These are the words of Zalinyar who is in other lands today.

Leayne softly says, "Leayne, Since I am unable to attend Kaelie's memorial I would appreciate very much if you would read the following page for me at her service. Please convey that Heart and Helm Jousting Club would not be the same without the advice and management of our honored Media Director, and her intriguing evil oozing spotted horse."

Leayne smiles and turns the paper.

Leayne softly says, "These are her words to Kaelie and all of you here."

Leayne solemnly says, "I have debated on how best to handle this moment, how I could possibly convey how incredible the loss is that we all feel at the passing of our dear friend and beloved mentor. I've cried a thousand tears and screamed until my throat is raw. I've spent days in isolation, not willing to face a crowd without her stalwart presence."

Leayne tearfully says, "In truth, I've considered a long sleep. But when I considered that, I could hear her sweet voice nagging at my conscious saying that is not our way. We will move forward. We will pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and move on."

Leayne softly says, "Instead of words to you gathered here, I've decided to write a letter to Kaelie."

Leayne tearfully says, "Kaelie, my friend, my mentor, my rock. How do I choose what words to say goodbye to you? I cannot. Those words cannot pass my lips."

Leayne solemnly says, "A few days past, I had to face Heart and Helm and the guests at our event and honor your memory and all that you have contributed to our club. I don't know how I will organize another World Jousting Tournament without you being there telling me it will all work out, and to leave the mathing to you."

Leayne softly says, "All the while, through my nail biting, rum induced ranting and whispers of did that lance break on the shield or did it not, you were right there doing what you have always done. Being my rock. Assuring me that I would do great, and everything would be fine."

Leayne softly says, "What a success we had, my dear friend, and honoring you as MVP of the WJT 444 was such an honor for me! One day, I hope that trophy will be proudly displayed in the House of the Order of the Black Fox. It it ever gets completed..."

Leayne solemnly says, "We would laugh at that, and I will miss your laughter. I will miss your advice, and I will miss that motherly kiss on the cheek when we greet each other. I will miss you Kaelie... but I will strive to honor your memory in every way I possibly can. And then I will miss telling you about it. Fly high sweet Kaelie, until we meet again."

Leayne softly says, "Your headache and pet project, supplier of only the best rum, Zali. I love you."

Leayne drops to one knee, bowing her head in deference.

Lycette rubs an onyx mourning band adorned with pale green vela'tohr flowers in bas-relief.

Leayne stands up.

Lycette says, "Thank you, Leayne. Next, Melindrha will share."

Pyppa smiles at Melindrha.

Melindrha says, "Most of us have something about ourselves we tend to hide. Past actions, opinions, habits... you shove it down and cover it up, until you know what you've got stashed isn't going to offend or scare another person."

Melindrha says, "For me and Kaelie, we shared a truly sick and twisted sense of humor. It's an open secret that those who heal feel the most hurts, and how we handle it is rarely appreciated by those who are in the depths of their own pain. This is fair."

Melindrha inhales a great swallow of air.

Melindrha says, "The most palatable to share is teasing her about how easy it would be to fail at playing peek-a-boo with a baby while she Faded. You're... not likely to hear the rest cause they're too dirty for innocent ears."

Melindrha says, "Regardless, tonight is champagne and crowns and red orbs and cigars."

Melindrha says, "To Kaelie. I miss you."

Mazrian smiles at Melindrha.

Mazrian quietly says, "Here here."

Lycette says, "Thank you, Melindrha. Next up is Grenhart."

Grenhart wheezily says, "So."

Grenhart wheezily says, "My little tiny lady."

Grenhart wheezily says, "I know that she is making everyone, where ever she is now, very happy."

Grenhart hugs Mazrian, getting a smile in return.

Grenhart wheezily says, "And I know that she would not want any of us to be sad. She would want us to celebrate her, and her life."

Grenhart wheezily says, "I'm done."

Lycette says, "Thank you, Grenhart. Leayne will now share a song with us."

Leayne softly says, "Only for Kaelie could Zali get me to do this."

Leayne smiles softly.

Leayne inhales a great swallow of air.

Leayne walks slowly through the gathered crowd to the front of the assembly. She turns to face the gathering and clasps her hands in front of her as she gazes at the faces of all those who come to say their final farewell to a dear friend. As the room falls into silence, she begins to sing.

Leayne softly sings in a mezzo-soprano voice:

   "Go in peace
     Go in kindness
     Go in love
     Go in faith..."

Leayne softly sings in a mezzo-soprano voice:

   "Leave the day
     The day behind us
     Day is done
     Go in grace."

Leayne's eyes begin to well with unshed tears and she lifts a finger to catch a stray as it begins to slide down her cheek.

Leayne clearly sings in a mezzo-soprano voice:

"Let us go... into the dark
     Not afraid, and not alone...
Let us hope, by some good pleasure
     Safely to arrive at home."

Leayne's lips quiver as she futilely attempts to keep her emotions in check. She now allows the tears to flow freely. Her voice waivers and the final verse is choked with emotion.

Leayne mournfully sings in a mezzo-soprano voice:

   "Let us hope
     By some good pleasure
     Safely to...
     Arrive at home."

Leayne nods.

Leayne sniffles.

Leayne walks back through the gathering to her place.

Lycette says, "Thank you Leayne. I now invite everyone to get some champagne from the table and raise your glass to Kaelie."

Each of the attendees in the gathered crowd takes some frothy pink champagne served in a dewy long-stemmed silver goblet in hand. They raise their glasses high into the air as they hold a toast in Kaelie's honor.

Lycette says, "That concludes the formal part of the memorial, and the event is now open to those who want to share their favorite memories of Kaelie."

Lycette says, "Please feel free to stay, the event will be less formal from here on."

Lycette says, "Please get a gift for a mourning band."

Pyppa says, "On behalf of every one of us who love her and the Order of the Black Fox, thank you for coming."

You reach into a box of gifts bearing the crest of the Order of the Black Fox and feel around for a moment. Your hand closes around something! As you slowly pull your arm free, you find yourself with an onyx mourning band adorned with pale green vela'tohr flowers in bas-relief!

Navesi says to Pyppa, "Thank you for taking on the job of hosting."

Jaelia says, "Feel free to take a burning candle if you would like to hold one as I drop them."

Pyppa says, "Thank you Lycette for your time and hard work."

You softly say, "Everyone can speak in turn."

Gypsierenee says, "I'd like to say simply this, Kaelie was a once in a life time friend, mentor and loved by all. Her kindness and generosity to all will not be forgotten."

Gypsierenee curtsies gracefully.

Anuril says, "I spend a lot of time in the empath courtyard, and it was always brighter there when Kaelie was with us. I will try to carry her light forward."

Rifkinn says to Mazrian, "The Ravens want me to say how much she will be missed, she was a good egg, the best."

Rifkinn says to Mazrian, "Ca Caw Sir."

Mazrian says, "She loved you all."

Mazrian says, "Gods know why."

Mazrian says, "But if she saw something, maybe there was something to see."

Ghust quietly says, "Kaelie and ah didn't always get along."

Ghust quietly says, "But she was the one who taught me how to be a proper empath."

Ghust quietly says, "She gave me and Shannera this antler."

Ghust gets a tiny gold antler from inside his songsilk carryall.

Ghust quietly says, "An told us we should have it."

A tear runs down Shannera's face.

Ghust quietly says, "Kaelie was one of the best people I know and I will miss her."

Ghust begins to weep softly.

Crobin hugs Mazrian, getting a smile in return.

Crobin says, "You know...this last World Joust."

Crobin says, "She was fun to go against Maz."

Crobin says, "She was the kindest person I knew."

Crobin says, "But put a lance in her hand."

Crobin says, "And she became all business."

Crobin says, "I never second guessed myself when I asked to give her the Jousting Championship for our rank."

Grenhart wheezily says, "If she flapped her little dress at you, you knew she loved you."

Grenhart wheezily says, "So glad I got to hug her neck one more time."

Mazrian says, "Kaelie was always genuine."

Mazrian says, "She loved you. She didn't. She felt for you. She was always right up front with her feelings and what you saw was what there was."

Mazrian says, "Sometimes that was noble. Sometimes it was sweet. Sometimes it wasn't."

Mazrian says, "I'll miss all of it."

Sothios says, "She had a way with words that's damn sure."

Cythra says, "I never knew Kaelie.. Never well enough. I loved her deeply and never knew anybody more knowledgeable."

Sothios says, "She is why Zyn and I are together."

Marcul says, "I'd like to say, simply, Kaelie was the first friend I ever made. There was a time when Kaelie might have been my only friend. Walking these lands without her kindness, tough love, gentle spirit, and motherhood will be a challenge worth undertaking, if only for her sake."

Mazrian dryly says to Marcul, "You vexed her, and therefore me, a lot."

Mazrian says, "But it worked out, eventually."

Mazrian says, "I'm glad she got to see that."

Marcul nods at Mazrian, obviously agreeing with his views.

Navesi says, "As for my experience with Kaelie. We worked together for a long time, and I hope she considered me a friend too. She always had an honest and frank take on whatever we were doing. She didn't always give her opinion, but when she did, it was with that blunt insight that tended to knock people into shape."

Braekin says, "If I had met her it was far in the past and briefly, but seein how much people she had affected in a positive way goes ta show how special she was, and could only imagine how great she was in other realms. Glad ta be here at this time even it is just to linger around and wanna say sorry for the loss of a good friend, companion and all that you guys had.."

Tirost says, "I was hoping I might perform a poem, one of the many that Kaelie inspired."

Lycette says to Tirost, "Please."

Tirost gracefully plucks the cords of a golden lyre, slowly forming a flowing, melodious music.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "Sing! timeless muse above,
Of a time not long since past,
When Geva unleashed the dogs of war,
And widows wailed in voices sad!"

Tirost's voice fills the area, and a flame appears near his head.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

"And but for that soaring triumph
Of a bright all ruling love!
A darkness would still cover all,
And in labor we would drudge -"

Tirost's fingers glide over the strings of a golden lyre.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

"For th' Elpalzi were held captive
Knives at th' throats of all their kin,
Save for traitors like cold Geva
    Who reveled in her sins,"

Tirost frowns.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

"And sought to bury thoughts of freedom
    Under the master's lash,
    And sacrifice our homeland
To that which stained all Zaulfung black."

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "She gave the fearsome order,
    And assassins dashed to slay
    Many of our brave defenders
Whom her designs would sure delay."

Tirost's melody flows through the area, rising and falling to accompany his voice.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "Huge was then her army,
    And dire were their arms.
    Bold Geva feared her nothing,
And to the Crossing raised alarm!"

Tirost's voice rises in intensity, as the flame slowly flickers and moves about his head.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

"For lo! She seemed death's shadow!
A force that none could stop.
    She taunted us from hiding,
And dread was felt by all."
Tirost sings in a baritone voice:
"But for all her twisted cunning,
    And all her borrowed might,
She failed to perceive the consequence
Of facing those two lovers bright!"

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

"But for all her twisted cunning,
    And all her borrowed might,
She failed to perceive the consequence
Of facing those two lovers bright!"

Tirost smiles, as his fingers dance over the strings of a golden lyre.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "And in her oozing hubris
That makes Zehira seem a lamb,
Crept she to the empath's guild
    To spread death and mayhem,"

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

"And there she whispered horrid lies,
    And promised freedom's death,
Which reached the ears of brilliant Kaelie,
    The one called Daemondred."

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "While Geva's loathsome magic
    Shrouded her from mortal sense,
    Kaelie's mind was lucid,
    And found she quick Constanze."

Tirost's skin flushes with effort, as he continues his soaring song.

Tirost happily sings in a baritone voice:

"A thought to her nearby husband sent,
The lord of war and spells,
To lie in wait for Geva
    Whom soon she would expel,"

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "And Kaelie told good Constanze,
    'Geva is within.
    Banish her with your magic,
And she will fall to Mazrian!'"

Tirost smiles, and the melody of his golden lyre increases in tempo.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "Constanze wasted not a second,
For few she trusted like bright Kae,
    And uttered words of magic,
And sent Geva on her way!"

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "Blasted onto the Crossing street,
Geva barely raised her head -
Staring at her like a starving wolf
    Was Mazrian Daemondred!"

Tirost grins.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "Lighting crackled from his fingers,
And storm winds stirred his hair,
Geva lept then to her feet,
But 'fore she could seek her lair"

Tirost's melody rises into an aria.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "The elements were upon her,
    From Mazrian's deadly hand!
Cutting winds they gashed her fur,
And lightening lept at his command!"

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

   "Geva, in that moment,
For all the dread she'd wrought,
Learned that all her machinations vast
Would all soon come to naught!"

Tirost's voice deepens, and the tempo of his melody slows.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:
"For the courage of two lovers,
Who long had grown in trust,
In walks through all the vales and hills
Found liking turned to love -"

Tirost smiles sadly.

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

"Proved again, and for all time,
That all the threats and murder cold
Wrought by those without a heart
Will by true love be overthrown!"

Tirost sings in a baritone voice:

"And so the skein of history
    Receives a gorgeous span
From the love of brilliant Kaelie,
    And her Mazrian."

Tirost's fingers slow, and the music of a golden lyre ceases. The flame near his head fades away.

Tirost bows.

Tirost smiles, but his mouth trembles slightly, and he quickly raises his hand to cover it.

Lycette says, "Thank you, Tirost."

Grenhart chants in a tenor voice:

"Lesson here, and I think Kaelie would agree, hug the people. You just never know. "

Marcul says to Mazrian, "I remember when she got those little marks on her neck. Seems almost like eons ago now, before the years started with a four. I had only just gone to sleep, but not without her insistance that I do so, of course. And I missed the event entirely."

Mazrian says, "She told that story to me a lot. It was a great one."

Urbaj says, "I had a nasty fall in Throne City. I was a stranger to Kaelie, but she (and several others) took the long barge ride to come to my aid. While healing me, she fondly reminisced that one of her first dates with Mazrian was a tour of Throne City, with a fate similar to my own."

Urbaj smiles at Mazrian.

Urbaj says, "I wanted badly to somehow repay her for her kindness - recognizing that for most adventurers, time is the scarcest resource. But I didn't realize just how true that was at the time."

Urbaj says, "I thanked her profusely and apologized for the inconvenience, and she comforted me, reassuring me that the excursion was an exciting start to her day. I'll carry her selflessness and warmth with me."

Urbaj sits down on the limestone bench.

Kethrai says, "Almost sad to have missed that. Watch Constanze send an Elpalzi warlord to go fetch her some tea..."

Mazrian laughs!

Mazrian says, "Oh god, that was our best date."

Mazrian says, "...not our most fatal date, as it turned out."

Ghust quietly says, "Pardon me, but ah have ta go. But the memory and light of Kaelie will always be in mah heart."

Ghust bows to Mazrian.

Kethrai says to Mazrian, "I think I recall you telling a story of a boat ride that involved lots and lots of deaths to pirates."

Lycette says, "She was always up for an adventure."

Dreamheart says, "I could sing her praises and tales for untold hours, but it would end like this: Kaelie's legacy is her heart, and everyone whose path she crossed, bears a bit of her in our hearts forever. Share it, and she will live in you, and to those you share with. A heart is the biggest of all things. She shared hers with us, with Zoluren, and we are better and richer for it."

Ruea says, "As it happens, Kaelie was an absolutely wonderful supporter of the arts. I can't remember her ever missing a show, a concert, or an event if there was any way she could be there."

Salvitoriel quietly steps up near Mazrian from out of the crowd, his eyes downturned....

Salvitoriel quietly says to Mazrian, "Sorry I arrived late sir, I went to the wrong tamsine's rest. then I died en route trying to get here. I errm... Umm... here..."

Salvitoriel hugs Mazrian, getting a smile in return.

Mazrian pats Salvitoriel on the back.

Salvitoriel steps back into the crowd.

Ruea says, "She told me several times that the Paladin Play was the best thing I'd ever put on and she wanted very much to see it again."

Mazrian says, "It's fine....I love that story, and Kaelie would have, too."

Ruea says, "I wasn't able to do that for her, so instead we will be re-staging it in her honor in a month or so."

Ruea says, "If you would like to be involved in the performance please let me know."

Cythra says, "I would like to sing a song."

Cythra frets.

Lycette nods to Cythra.

Lycette says to Cythra, "Please do."

Cythra says, "This is nae the first memorial I've been and prolly nae be the last."

Cythra sniffles.

Cythra recites:

   "Where are you,
    Our friends of old,
    You loves we've lost,
    You fighters bold?"

Cythra recites:

   "Where are you,
    Our families dear,
    Our darling ones,
    Who had no fear?"

Cythra recites:

   "Where are you,
    Those we knew?
    Where have you gone,
    Our missing crew?"

Cythra recites:

   "We miss your hearts,
    Your souls, your smiles.
    We see your eyes
    Across the miles."

Cythra recites:

   "Remember when,
    We did that thing?
    We promised to,
    Not say anything."

Cythra recites:

   "Please return,
    Our friends long-gone,
    It's to you,
    Our hearts are drawn."

Cythra rubs her right eye.

Cythra recites:

   "Soon will be,
    The time for us.
    Will those remaining
    Miss us as much?"

Cythra says, "Thank you for listening."

Lycette says, "Thank you, Cythra."

Lycette says, "Thank you everyone, for coming out and sharing your memories."

Tirost says, "Thank you for giving us an opportunity to celebrate our friend."

Lycette says, "Please keep her in your hearts."

Ryeka says, "Always."

Lycette says, "With that, we will conclude."

Lycette says, "Hugs and love to all."

Pyppa says, "Please take a gift if you have not yet."
