Introduced as Tuesday Tidings 109.
Description
The windbag is a whirling mass of shredded moonsilk and other textiles, held perpetually aloft on unseen air currents. Although at times it appears as nothing more than a tangle of airborne cloth, it generally maintains some notable features: a tightly-coiled head hunched low on a churning globular body, a pair of malevolently glowing eyes, and two ribbony appendages with ends that have been torn to wicked claw-like tatters. It floats restlessly about the area, stirring up bits of debris in its blustery path.
Recall
The moonsilk windbag is the product of the esoteric Ilduyeno Enchantment, which employs Elemental magic to animate violent fabric constructs with the power of Air. The same enchantment that animates these constructs also causes great damage to the fabric when the moonsilk windbag is destroyed. Still, those sufficiently proficient in skinning techniques may salvage enough threads to be of interest to craftsmen who deal in scraps. According to the rumors, the enchantment was originally designed as an act of trade sabotage by an especially competitive player of the Elothean textile industry.
They are known to cast Air Lash and Paeldryth's Wrath.
They are known to carry loot in locked boxes.
