The red token is commonly used to modify the appearance of a Moon Mage's shadow servant. Being such a mage with knowledge of the spell, you could INVOKE the red token to reshape the shadows that form your servant. The changes would take affect at its next summoning.

Were the red token to be activated, the following modifications to a servant would be made:

 Base Description: "a gangly Shadow Servant"
 Long Description: "a gangly Shadow Servant emblazoned with fiery symbols"
 LOOK Description: "Representing various celestial bodies and phenomenon, brilliant red symbols encircle the creature's neck, extending outward along its broad shoulders and sinewy arms before culminating at strangely stubby fingertips."

These are compatible with the scroll system for alterations. You must use this item as the base when you GET your scroll if you wish to have it altered.
