It is said that this gem forms on the first day of spring, as a sign of Eu's promise to return life to the land fulfilled. It is a semi-translucent gem composed of dozens of bladed or needle-like crystal structures which tapper off. Typically arranged in an acicular pattern, the gems are most commonly found in shades of red, blues, and purples. However, the gems have been known to take on the color of the nearest blooming flowers.
